00:00Hello, there is some good news in the forecast. It will be turning drier and brighter for
00:05many of us on Monday, but we do have a lot of rain in the forecast before we get there.
00:11We currently have two weather warnings covering thunderstorms for parts of the south and rain
00:15for eastern areas, and that rain across the east will steadily push westwards overnight.
00:22There are some heavier bursts in there too. Those showers across parts of the southwest
00:27slowly easing back during the overnight period. Overnight temperatures dipping into mid-single
00:33figures, especially across parts of Scotland where we have clearing skies. Further south,
00:37those temperatures staying up in double figures. So a cloudy start across many parts of England
00:43and Wales Monday morning, with further outbreaks of rain quickly pulling offshore into the North
00:49Sea, leaving behind a good deal of dry and bright weather for many of us to enjoy on Monday.
00:56A warmer day right the way across the country, with temperatures into the high teens or perhaps
01:00even the low 20s across parts of England and Wales, 16 further north. And looking at Monday evening,
01:08so a good deal of dry and bright weather, although cloud and rain starting to actually arrive across
01:14parts of the south and west late in the day. And looking at the outlook period today, it's not
01:20great. We will be turning increasingly unsettled as we move through the new working week, with a
01:26stronger Atlantic influence. And by the end of the week, an area of low pressure developing to
01:31the west of the UK. Thank you for listening and please check our social media channels
01:37for the latest updates. Bye for now.
