00:00Hello. It's not a great day out there for the final day of the Platinum Jubilee weekend,
00:07but the best of the weather is reserved for parts of Scotland. Out there at the moment
00:11we have a band of cloud and rain across the central swathe of England and Wales, and that
00:16arrived across southern areas overnight, and there were a few rumbles of thunders that
00:20moved north. So that band of cloud and rain continues to affect many areas during the
00:26course of Sunday. That rain becoming increasingly threadbare, but we do see some showers starting
00:32to arrive across the south and west later. Temperatures generally disappointing where
00:37we see those cloudier conditions. Further north under sunnier skies, temperatures may
00:42be reaching 22 degrees. So further outbreaks of rain continue to affect many southern areas,
00:50and some of that rain locally heavy and thundering. We do have a couple of weather warnings in
00:55effect for this. Overnight temperatures generally dipping into low double figures, but where
01:03we see those clearer skies across Scotland, temperatures dipping into single figures.
01:08So a bright star across Scotland, further south we have a lot of cloud and rain, but
01:13that quickly clearing eastwards with skies brightening and a few showers developing during
01:19the day. Temperatures generally up on what we saw during the course of Sunday with highs
01:26of 20 or 21 across the south and 16 across parts of Scotland. And looking at the outlook
01:32period, so a change is underway with more of an Atlantic influence of the weather as
01:37we move into the new week with cloud and rain arriving from the west from Tuesday. Thank
01:44you for listening and please check our social media channels for the latest updates. Bye
01:49for now.
