00:00Okay, I'd like to think we'd have some memorable intros over the years, but the People's Favorite
00:17Guest Doug Kida is back, and he is back with some scoops.
00:20So I'll just shut up and let you take it from here, man, the first 15 seconds.
00:25Well, yeah, I was talking to one person within the organization.
00:29This is one person, I think, ultimately, the Patriots starting quarterback job will
00:33be determined by Drodd Mayo, Alex Van Pelt, Elliott Wolf will have to say offensive coaching,
00:38but there's talked to one person within the building who still thinks that Jacoby Brissett
00:42will be the week one starter for the Patriots.
00:45But based on Drake May's performance, it's a matter of when, not if he takes over.
00:50So I think that this is nothing groundbreaking.
00:54I think this is all kind of what we expect, and that's what people within the building
00:58expect as well.
00:59But until that announcement comes from Drodd Mayo, it's all just expectation.
01:04But yes, there's people within the building who are very impressed with how Drake May
01:07performed this summer.
01:09But we're still looking at a situation where Jacoby Brissett took every single first team
01:13rep in practice and the preseason and starting week one, probably you would be fast tracking
01:20things a little bit here at this point.
01:22Yes.
01:23Now, by the time people listen to this, it might be.
01:24We might know.
01:25They might know.
01:26It might be slow tracking, if that's such a thing, because as we record Tuesday, 530
01:31roster cuts are done.
01:32You go 50, 53 on your roster projection based on what the Patriots actually did today.
01:37I bet it's something like.
01:38Well, I think you want a 53.
01:39So what did I say?
01:41I think you said 50, but I just want to make it known 51 out of 53.
01:45I'm speaking a little fast.
01:46You will not be surprised to hear I'm on a multiple diet Mountain Dews today.
01:49I still have another column to write and do TV later.
01:52So we got to keep going.
01:53But the point is, you did very well with your roster projections.
01:56The Patriots have a 53 man roster, which we all know will be tweaked and changed and refined
02:02and twisted in this and that based on starting with the waiver claims, which, again, by the
02:06time people listen to this, you might already know.
02:09But what we wanted to do is dive into what will be the meat of the roster, because you'll
02:13probably pick up by Wednesday at noon the deadline for all players who were released.
02:18They're up for grabs and the Patriots pick third, and there were a couple of players
02:21even ahead of them, at least by Carolina and Washington.
02:24Maybe we talk about.
02:25That they might jump on at obvious places, right?
02:28Offensive tackle center, maybe receiver, even though they kept seven and a run stuffing
02:33defensive tackle.
02:34So there's a lot to come, but the rosters here, we're going to dive in and the players
02:39were off today.
02:40So there was no announcement, which Rod Mayo said there will be about the quarterback.
02:43They could announce that in a team meeting tomorrow morning when they've got practice
02:45Wednesday, Thursday, and we all take a Labor Day.
02:48Okay, moving up in the quarterbacks or we can stay here.
02:51Your instant snap reaction to the 53-man rosters.
02:55You assembled it and wrote about it today.
02:57Biggest surprises were not that huge of surprises.
03:00I did not expect running back Kevin Harris or cornerback Sean Wade to make the roster.
03:06And then in turn, the guys who did make it who I wasn't expecting to were Tristan Hill
03:11and Marcellus Dial.
03:13But these were all four players that I was kind of really trying to weigh back and forth
03:18whether they'd make the roster.
03:19So none of them are huge surprises with Wade.
03:22It's just a matter of Patriots traded for him back in 2021 with the Ravens, and he's
03:26been on the roster ever since that point.
03:28He's not a guy who's gone back up and down to the practice squad.
03:31So the Patriots finally saying, all right, we'll release or we'll wave Sean Wade to keep
03:37a guy like Marcellus Dial on the roster.
03:39Little bit of a surprise, Tristan, Tristan Hill, a defensive tackle.
03:44I think the Patriots just needed like at least four defensive tackles on that initial roster.
03:49Not taking anything away from Tristan Hill, but a player like Hill, a player like Michael
03:54Jordan might be some of those players who could potentially move if the Patriots do
03:59either claim a player off of waivers or sign a veteran that was released.
04:04Yes.
04:05Now, it is a good idea to have warm bodies in your defensive tackle room, and I think
04:10you're absolutely right in assessing the players here who were probably 50 to 53 because
04:15they did fill out the 53 as opposed to having a 52 man roster, as I projected last episode
04:20and also called Sean Wade the cockroach of cut down day because we will have a nuclear
04:24Holocaust and he'll still be a healthy scratch the following Sunday.
04:27He's gone.
04:28I still think somehow he's going to come back up down to the practice squad just to be that
04:31healthy scratch because I don't know what I would do with my life since 2021.
04:35But to that point, if it's not Hill or dial, is there anyone else that stands out to you
04:41when you look at this roster?
04:42Michael Jordan's in their cash on booty.
04:43I would include because if they do add a player into Rob Mayo said as recently as yesterday,
04:49one of their starting guards or tackles as sad as this is might be might have been waived
04:54today.
04:55Who would you be looking at to get cut?
04:57Those would be the big ones.
04:58I think Hill and Michael Jordan would be the top two.
05:01I can't imagine.
05:02I think they would have just cut Marcel's dial if they were going to do it eventually.
05:06I think that he's a guy that you'd be like, we're afraid that he's going to get claimed
05:09cash on booty.
05:10Probably a guy that they were afraid was going to get claimed.
05:13One other one to just look at.
05:15I don't know what the status of Christian Ellis is at this point.
05:17He got injured in that preseason finale, left with a head injury, didn't return.
05:22So if the Patriots think that that could be a multi-week injury or something like that,
05:27now with the new injured reserve rules, he would only have to miss four weeks if they
05:31place him on injured reserve and designate him to return.
05:33So he would be another one.
05:36But overall, and I'm not just saying this because I came close to predicting the 53-man
05:40roster pretty accurately.
05:42I think the Patriots did a very good job of constructing this roster and keeping players
05:47who they were afraid would get claimed and cutting the guys that they're probably pretty
05:52confident will not wind up on other rosters.
05:55And ultimately, if they do, they can't care that much since they cut him anyway.
05:59A couple other notes that I think we should get out early before, again, we go position
06:03by position here.
06:04Christian Barmore designated to return from the non-football injury list.
06:08So that says they are at least open to the possibility that he comes back at some point
06:11this season.
06:12There's still no definitive timeline update.
06:14You and I have poked around.
06:15Nothing yet.
06:16I'm sure Gerard May will get a question tomorrow, meaning Wednesday, about him.
06:20Marte Mapu, same thing, except for on injured reserve.
06:22So Mapu could come back as soon as week five.
06:25To me, unless he's practicing next week as they get ready for the bangle, which would
06:29be too soon.
06:30So if he's practicing in two weeks, because that triggers a 21 day window, he couldn't
06:34come back until week five.
06:35He's just missed so much time.
06:36He did not practice in pads this summer.
06:38And then all the three physically unable to form list of UP guys, Kendrick Bourne, Cole
06:42Strange, Tony Taki Taki.
06:44They're definitely out until week five.
06:47Barmore, I'm glad to see that seems to indicate that he again, it might be healthier than
06:52some expected when you get blood clots and David Andrews is out for the year.
06:55So maybe not Christian Barmore.
06:57Anything else there?
06:58Bill?
07:00But I mean, they picked they picked placing Christian Barmore on that NFI list over, let's
07:04say, a guy like Calvin Anderson or Armand Watts.
07:07So but once again, I think this was the smart move here where they say even the possibility
07:12that Christian Barmore could come back at any point this season is more valuable than
07:17ensuring that you have Calvin Anderson or Armand Watts on your roster.
07:21Calvin Anderson just never competed for a starting job.
07:24Really, this summer, Armand Watts fell down the depth chart.
07:27And I we should mention this earlier.
07:29Big change from last year's cut down.
07:31Patriots have more than one quarterback on the roster.
07:33So that's huge.
07:34OK, that's big.
07:35I thought I think we expected that, though, Jacobian Drake made the very least Joe Mills.
07:39I just kind of forgot.
07:40They only kept one quarterback until I was looking at last year's 53 man roster depth
07:43chart thing.
07:44I was like, wow, they kept one quarterback last year.
07:47One quarterback.
07:48That was wild.
07:49The end is happy hour, though.
07:50Yeah, I think this is it.
07:51Right.
07:52I mean, boring a practice squad return, which obviously happened last year.
07:54And then he comes and plays.
07:55Even if he's signed to the practice squad, though, there's no way he shoots to the top
07:59of the depth chart again this year.
08:01No, no.
08:02And yeah, I like I, I would say that out of any player that I've ever covered, the words
08:09unfairly maligned would probably apply to Bailey Zappi.
08:13There's a guy I follow on Twitter is like a Patriots fan.
08:16I think it's like TCL or something like that is his name.
08:19He was like the only thing that Bailey Zappi ever did wrong was start games under the most
08:24like the worst possible circumstances.
08:26And now like every Patriots fan hates him for some reason.
08:29So hopefully Bailey Zappi land somewhere where he can be a backup, where he won't get booed
08:35for simply entering games.
08:37And yeah, I think it makes sense for all parties to move on.
08:39Who knows?
08:40Maybe they bring him back.
08:41I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility, but I just think it's best for all parties
08:45to move on from Bailey Zappi.
08:47Yeah, it's really quite a time for guys like him who come in in 2022.
08:52Not only is Matt Patricia, your offensive coordinator, there's a new offensive line
08:55coach.
08:56It's Patricia.
08:57He's going to be gone in a year.
08:58And then you come in in 2023 and you get to say for the rest of your life, I played for
09:03the Patriots.
09:04I played under Bill Belichick, but it was only in the last two years, not representative
09:08of what anyone else is going to think when you bring that up at a party 40, 50 years
09:12from now, 30 years from now, whatever.
09:14But that was the Bailey Zappi experience.
09:15It wasn't fair.
09:16I still, I still think he's not a quarterback worthy of being in this roster.
09:19The Patriots agreed last year.
09:21They agreed this year, but circumstances certainly did him no favors aside from maybe being drafted
09:25higher than we expected in the fourth round.
09:28But since then, no stability, no protection with the offensive line, bad weapons, inconsistent,
09:33just downright dysfunctional coaching.
09:34By the time you get a regular staff in here, they're ready with a bridge starter in Jacoby
09:39Percet and a guy they drafted third overall.
09:41So of course he's going to be on the outside.
09:42Yes.
09:43Yeah.
09:44And then, yeah, no big surprise that Zappi's gone and that Joe Milton is going to be that
09:47developmental third quarterback.
09:49And I would not be shocked if the Patriots still sign some sort of quarterback, the Will
09:53Greer type, not Will Greer, but a Will Greer type to their practice squad, just to be more
09:59depth behind Drake May, uh, just in case another injury like Jacoby Percet's happened.
10:05You just, you don't want to put Joe Milton into a game this year.
10:07So I think that it's worth that practice squad spot to keep a fourth quarterback around.
10:11Well, let's bat around a couple of names because I think people are going to want to know,
10:15especially since Gerard, last time we talked to him, this could be new when we finally
10:19get this episode out and he speaks to everyone.
10:21I think it's Wednesday, maybe at one o'clock when he's speaking, but sometime around there.
10:26Yeah.
10:27CJ Beathard gets cut in Jacksonville, Nate Sudfeld's gone in Detroit, your boy who you're
10:31not counting on, Will Greer, uh, not got caught in Philadelphia, any of any of those names,
10:37any other names I didn't mention kind of say to you, Hey, this makes sense based on either
10:41some system experience or just what you've seen from him playing football as a backup
10:45in the NFL.
10:46I mean, Beth third would be, I think would be a great pickup, but I just think it probably
10:50makes more sense for him to wind up back in Jacksonville.
10:52I'm like, honestly, who knows?
10:53Maybe we'll agree.
10:54Or is the guy who comes back?
10:55Like, I know that people within the organization have ties to will agree or like will agree
10:59or, um, and maybe they can convince people on staff that things will go better this time.
11:03Maybe they can convince will agree or that things will go better.
11:06But like, I think that he was kind of that adult in the room last year.
11:09You don't want the awkwardness that you had last year with Mac Jones and Bailey's happy.
11:13So just get some sort of journeyman veteran quarterback, preferably one with some experience,
11:19um, in Alex van Pelt system.
11:21But the, the Browns kept all four quarterbacks and it's five 48 right now in the NFL hasn't
11:27actually released all of the cuts yet.
11:28So I can't tell you like every single quarterback that's out there, but yeah, there are some
11:32names that those three, I think are a good starting point, um, for who the Patriots could
11:38potentially pick up.
11:39And maybe there's someone that Elliot Wolf or Alex van Pelt or someone else is just really
11:43like throughout the years.
11:44And, and that's who they pick up.
11:46And there were players last year, I know of, uh, whom they worked out and then offered
11:51a practice squad spot too, and just said, no, thanks.
11:54I should be on the roster.
11:55Your team stinks.
11:56Give me a 53 man roster pay.
11:59And so they didn't sign.
12:00So it's very possible that because the Patriots obviously are going to keep her set and may
12:04and Joe Milton, you know, they're going to say, Hey, we'd love to have you.
12:07You'll have a real shot to play here.
12:09And we mean that.
12:10But in the meantime, you're going to be a practice squad and they just go kick rocks
12:14and they leave because what kind of offer is that if you think you could be signed to
12:17a 53 minute roster, even if you might've been cut in Jacksonville, obviously CJ Beathard
12:21was going to lose that job to Mac Jones.
12:23If he found some semblance of his old form, which it seems like he has, uh, Sean Clifford,
12:28Michael Pratt, two Packers quarterbacks released a Desmond, Desmond Ritter release.
12:32I don't think Ritter would be the best option, but like, yeah, maybe someone like a Sean
12:37Clifford would be another name to throw out there at quarterback.
12:40Yeah.
12:41Young guy.
12:42We actually saw him last summer.
12:43What did you think of him last summer?
12:44He had a, he had a big drive at the end of that one joint practice, which is everyone
12:46knows is enough sample to completely judge a player on.
12:49He had a big drive.
12:51Uh, my big takeaway from the Packers quarterback situation last year was, I can't believe that
12:56this is all they have around Jordan love.
12:58And it worked out because Jordan love stayed healthy, but I was like, what if Jordan love
13:01doesn't work out and you've got like Sean Clifford and I forgot who some of the other
13:06guys were.
13:07I was just like, this is a rough backup quarterback situation.
13:10So perfectly fine for a fourth quarterback on your practice squad.
13:14Not ideal for a backup would be my, uh, my takeaway on Sean Clifford at this point.
13:18The NFL regular season is almost here, but you don't have to waste your time watching
13:22more preseason outside of the Patriots.
13:24You can play prize picks all summer.
13:27America's number one daily fantasy sports app has over 5 million active viewers.

13:53And then when football does roll around, man, if you think Tyree kill is going to go for
13:56over 90 yards in the season opener, Miami does pretty well in their season openers.
14:00Uh, that's an easy win.
14:01If you think the Patriots defense is going to show up and hold down Joe Burrow in Cincinnati,
14:05take the under on Joe Burrow.
14:06It's that simple.
14:07It's that easy.
14:08You've heard me talk about this for the Red Sox, God willing, they'll be playing in October.
14:12You can do all kinds of sports, but get ready for football with prize picks.

14:27That's right.
14:28The code CLNS on prize picks for deposit match up to a hundred dollars price picks run your
14:34game.
14:35Okay.
14:36Let's go to the receivers.
14:38You nailed this.
14:39I did not.
14:40Uh, the Patriots kept seven, not just six.
14:42The six to me were obvious.
14:43KJ Osborne, Tyquan Thornton, pop Douglas.
14:45Those are your starters behind them.
14:46The two draft picks Jalen Polk, Javon Baker, and the Jalen Raker sticks to me, special
14:50team's value.
14:51Gachon booty.
14:52I just said, I don't know how he wins.
14:53He's got exceptionally strong hands sometimes, and then he's dropping passes in the preseason
14:59and I'm certainly not upset that he's on the team, but he opened the best for everyone
15:01that we cover and interact with.
15:03But he, to me is included in that group.
15:05We talked about at the start, you know, 50 to 53, who could be on the chopping block
15:09of the Patriots?
15:10Like one of these offensive tackles.
15:12Why did you keep them on the roster?
15:14Which is also asking, why were you right?
15:15And why was I wrong?
15:16Uh, I'd simply because I had spoken to two people within the organization who had highlighted
15:22him as a standout over the last, let's say like two to three weeks of training camp.
15:27And then in following up with that, I was saying like, is seven wide receivers really
15:31in play here?
15:32Like, is that a possibility?
15:33One of the people that I talked to was like, not only that, but like, that's what I'm rooting
15:36for us to do.
15:37So I think that this just, they wanted to keep the talent that they had at wide receiver.
15:42And this isn't from anyone that I've talked to, but just, this is just my theory is, you
15:46know, the Kendrick Bourne is going to be coming back in four weeks or, you know, maybe a little
15:50bit longer than that.
15:51This is just another four week tryout for Kishon booty to prove that he belongs, that
15:55he deserves a spot on the Patriots because they're not going to keep eight wide receivers
15:58when Kendrick Bourne comes back.
15:59So someone's going to have to get that chopping block.
16:02So this is just a little bit more competition.
16:04And the big thing for me, um, once again, not anything sourced, but just my opinion,
16:09if Taekwon Thornton's you're starting X wide receiver, I don't mind having two backups
16:15in Kishon booty and Jalen Rager, just in case that doesn't work out, doesn't work for work
16:20out for injury.
16:21It doesn't work out for talent.
16:22It doesn't work out for whatever reason.
16:24I think you need other options in case you put Taekwon Thornton out there and week one
16:29and you're like, okay, this is, this was a disaster, nevermind, sorry.
16:32And then you've got some other guys to put out there.
16:34So I do think it's a position where it makes sense to have a lot of depth that I agree
16:38for injury sake.
16:39I also wonder if a trades in play, because we know Kendrick Bourne was involved in the
16:43trade talks with San Francisco for Brandon.
16:45I, you can born as experienced there.
16:47So it's not to say that the 49ers value him the same way that other teams would, because
16:51you know, let's say he comes back week five, right?
16:54You add him to the roster.
16:55Someone else has to get moved.
16:56Let's say it is Taekwon Thornton who just gets banged up again.
16:59That could be trade bait at the trade deadline, right?
17:01I think unlike last year when they were still striving to win, even though I had declared
17:05the season over dead time of death in Vegas, six 42 or whatever it was, and Mack Jones
17:10basically took that safety or did they're going to sell, I believe in the trade deadline
17:15this year.
17:16Do you buy any of that with booty or maybe another receiver who might, I mean, it wouldn't
17:19be the draft picks, right?
17:20Or any of the guys?
17:22Yeah, I could certainly see them having like some, some trade value either at the trade
17:26deadline or even like, let's say the next week, I mean, the Patriots trade for what
17:30veteran low and Tyron Wheatley right around this time last year, I think it was before
17:34cuts, but still there can be some movement at this point.
17:36So certainly wouldn't be shocked.
17:38I don't know who would have the most trade value outside of born in the rookies.
17:42Like you said, the rookies aren't going anywhere, but like neither is pop Douglas, right?
17:46And pop Douglas is neither.
17:48I just, I don't know what they would be able to get for like an Osborne or a booty or a
17:53or Taekwondo.
17:54And so I don't know, I think eventually they could, I'm not expecting anything imminently
17:59though.
18:00Probably.
18:01Okay.
18:02One position.
18:03I'm going to have you guess where I would believe something is imminent.
18:05If not, again, by the time people listen to this, it's already happened that they are
18:07going to add to, they have to add to is what, what position am I pointing to right now?
18:12Offensive line.
18:13Yes.
18:15Yes.
18:16Except I'm going with the tight ends.
18:18Okay.
18:19Sure.
18:20Hunter Henry.
18:21We have not seen it two weeks.
18:22Austin Hooper just came back from injury.
18:24Jaheim Bell is not going to be in line blocking.
18:26I don't think for maybe another two years, if ever in the NFL, this is an offense you
18:31and I've seen play with two tight ends in a lot of 11 on 11 periods in training game.
18:37That's the way they want to play.
18:38That's the way they did play with the Browns.
18:39And I'm not talking about over 50% of the staffs would necessitate definitely for tight
18:44ends.
18:45But I would say they need to add here, not just because of the temporary injury situation,
18:50but because if you're going to play 30, maybe upwards of 40% of your snaps like that, you
18:54need another guy who can play in line and like Cooper and of course Hunter Henry and
18:59Donald Parham got released.
19:01It's a name to at least throw out there, but I think this is a group because Jaheim Bell
19:05is just not ready to be an inline blocker again, if ever that they just, they just need
19:09another body in there.
19:10Yeah.
19:11I mean, I wouldn't be shocked if it wound up being Mitchell Wilcox coming back as well.
19:14I think the Mitchell Wilcox was certainly good enough in training camp that he could
19:20be the guy who comes back and I don't expect him to be someone who's signed right away.
19:23I believe he has four accrued season.
19:25So I believe that was a release, not a waiver situation for him.
19:30So I mean, that could be like, they could essentially sound to the practice squad right
19:34now if he's not getting interest around the league.
19:37So yeah, absolutely.
19:38Someone at tight ends could be coming to the practice squad, possibly even the 53 man roster.
19:43But certainly a good one to punch there and Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper, you just have
19:46to make sure those guys stay healthy.
19:49Mitchell Wilcox does not have four years, just shy.
19:51He's got three.
19:52So he, he, he was waived.
19:54Yeah.
19:55Interesting.
19:56Unless he, because he was drafted in 2020 over the cap says he's got four accrued seasons.
20:04Okay.
20:05So he didn't play then or accrue any statistics there.
20:08Okay.
20:09One of us is right.
20:13You mentioned the offensive line.
20:14The reason I skipped them is because I just think at some point, and maybe I'm wrong.
20:19Folks are at home are sick of an offensive line conversation.
20:22They stink.
20:23They don't have enough tackles.
20:24We talked about this in the spring.
20:26Hey, you should probably add a left tackle.
20:27Hey, they should buy a left tackle.
20:29Lo and behold, the Darien low, the, the one liner to express that, you know how bad it
20:34is in new England right now is to save an area and low starting at left tackle.
20:38They missed him in Washington in that season finale, but they still have nine bodies to
20:42the Tristan Hill, warm body in the room argument.
20:45So I look at this and go, there's going to be movement.
20:49They're probably going to add a tackle, Bob.
20:50So see great shout out.
20:51You and I both retweeted today, guy got released from the Titans.
20:54If you want to bring him up, am I crazy for thinking though, that because you keep nine
20:59and among them, I can see three, well, four tackles.
21:04If you include Mike on when it was that to me, that says they might be a little bit more
21:07willing to play them at right tackle than we've seen most of the summer.
21:11Oh, potentially.
21:12I, I, I think so, but I also, if like, if you had like gun to my head, offensive line
21:18week one, I'd probably have vicarian low and a core for the tackle positions if they're
21:23healthy, but that's such a big, if we don't know at this point of video and low is going
21:27to be healthy.
21:28We don't know if city South is going to be healthy.
21:30So we just like, if, if the Darien low can't play, then you almost have to start Michael
21:36when you tackle, unless they do sign a guy like drawn Christian and feel like they can
21:40plug him in right away on a week and a half for the practices.
21:44One thing on Christian, once again, it's 5 57 PM on Tuesday.
21:48I don't know when this, when this podcast is going to be dropping, but I did reach out
21:52about drawing Christian potentially given the Patriots there.
21:56There's been no contact up to this point, but once again, it's been two hours, less
22:00than two hours since cut down.
22:02So that could certainly change, but it's not as if they saw his name come across the wire
22:06and immediately picked up the phone.
22:08So I don't know.
22:09I, I do think that based on what draw Mayo's saying on Monday, that who knows, we could
22:17have the starting tackle and guard might not even be on the roster yet.
22:20At this point, we might use our waiver wire pickup.
22:22Like obviously that's a position that they're looking at.
22:26And then one other name to just throw out would be Caleb Jones.
22:28He's a guy who was waived by the Packers and I follow a decent amount of Packers reporters
22:33on Twitter.
22:34There did seem to be some surprise that Caleb Jones had been waived.
22:38He's a young player.
22:39I think he's like six, seven, 350 pounds, something crazy like that has some experience
22:44at left tackle.
22:45Once again, not sure if that's a guy that you plug in right away, but once again, no
22:49offense to Vidarian low, but when you're starting left tackle, it could be Vidarian low.
22:54Anyone could potentially be plugged in and play left tackle off of waivers or a signing.
22:58Well, you pointed this out to me the last time we heard from Vidarian loan, a press
23:02conference setting when asked about his standing within the team, he was like, I am intent
23:07on proving myself as a swing tackle in the NFL and then followed up and said, yo, yeah,
23:13I think I could start at left tackle, but he's self-aware.
23:15Okay.
23:16Not all of us are wrong or sandbagging on Vidarian low in his future and his potential
23:21in the NFL.
23:22I think against consensus, I might be a little higher having reviewed some of that film specifically
23:26against the Eagles where, you know, he really got screwed on that sack of Kevin Harris,
23:30chipping in a way that running backs typically don't chip, but overall still, you don't
23:33want him starting.
23:34And he is aware that over time, that's probably not a good idea.
23:38Anything else missing from the offensive line?
23:40Like Michael Jordan's a backup guard.
23:42He made it.
23:43I kept him off of my projection because again, first, first play that he comes on the field
23:47for city.
23:48So he gets called for holding.
23:49I think he's been okay.
23:50It looks like a backup guy who don't like get cut.
23:52Kaden Walsh in there, Nick Leverett stuck, and they still don't have a guy who can reliably
23:57snap the ball behind David Hendricks.
24:00I'll go five seconds on this, but Michael Jordan played center at Ohio state.
24:06He was a center on the practice squad, whatever team was on last year.
24:10So I'm frankly shocked that they never gave him a shot out there, that they decided to
24:13move Antonio Moffitt to center before they gave Michael Jordan snaps there.
24:17But maybe they just like Michael Jordan being depth at guard more than they wanted to move
24:23him to center.
24:24But I don't know what that was.
24:25He's also got experience at tackle.
24:27So he is a versatile guy that one way or the other, whether it's on the practice squad,
24:30the roster probably gonna stick around.
24:32Yeah.
24:33I didn't see him set the ball once and maybe I missed it at the start of practice when
24:37you know, like the quarterbacks get together one end of the field with the centers and
24:40take, you know, these snaps and they do little slow-mo kind of bootleg or just kind of fake
24:45the handoff.
24:46Just get loose for practice.
24:47Right.
24:48Didn't see that once.
24:49So I'm not even saying that's a good idea.
24:50They might've just deemed like there's no way he can handle this at the end of the level
24:55in a game setting.
24:56But it's it's still David Andrews who might be the most irreplaceable player in this roster.
25:01When you look across across the offensive defense, it might also just be a body type
25:05thing.
25:06I mean, I think that that's one thing is that most of those centers that they were using
25:09this year are kind of the the shorter squatter types other than Liam Fornadel, I guess.
25:13But like Michael Jordan's a legit legitimate 6-6.
25:16So maybe, you know, Scott Peters just didn't like that.
25:19Didn't like having that tall of a center.
25:20Who knows?
25:21But yeah, it was kind of odd.
25:23All right, let's wrap on the offense.
25:26The coming back had, as you said, the biggest surprise so far, one of the biggest surprises,
25:29period.
25:30But it says something when a 2022 six round pick counts is a big surprise because it's
25:35really just a numbers game.
25:37Kevin Harris gone, I would say likely to come back to the practice squad, but that just
25:40left them with a reminder of Stevenson, Antonio Gibson and Michael Hastie, who I noted last
25:45week, earlier this week, really started to come on as RB three in the last one to two
25:49weeks of training.
25:50Yeah.
25:51Not to mention is, of course, special team.
25:53roster.
25:54But I missed that.
25:55Kevin Harris would just not make the team outright.
25:58I don't hate it just because I do think he's a player.
26:00You can pretty confidently get through to the practice squad through waivers.
26:05And the one thing I was considering when I was doing my 53 man roster projection on Sunday
26:09night because I was like, you know what?
26:12Yeah.
26:13In theory, you want that backup running back behind Romandre Stevenson is like a big body
26:16that can carry the load on early downs.
26:18But I was like, that could just be Antonio Gibson.
26:21Antonio Gibson is six foot two, 230 pounds.
26:25He's done that before in Washington.
26:27So if Stevenson for some reason got hurt or isn't playing for any reason, you would just
26:32move Gibson into that early down role.
26:35And then Michael Hastie would be your third down back.
26:37And Hastie is much more useful on special teams than Kevin Harris is.
26:41So if you only want to keep three running backs for special teams ability and for just
26:46his ability in his defined role, I think Hastie is the more valuable player than Harris.
26:51Yeah, I don't have much more here.
26:53I know people are going to like Michael Hastie a little bit more than they might have expected,
26:58especially if you've never really watched him or just didn't stick around for the preseason.
27:02It's not because he's going to wow you, but you'll just look at him and go, oh, that's
27:05a functional part time third down back.
27:08We have to give him a couple of carries.
27:09You know, he'll know where to be and what to do.
27:12And that counts for a guy who's going to be counted on to play in an ideal world.
27:1710% of snaps, maybe if that and a lot more on special teams, which say we will about
27:21Bill's old philosophy.
27:22They only have one real special teams only player this year, non-kicker, non-punter,
27:26non-longstamper.
27:27It's Brendan Spooler.
27:28Michael Hastie also might unofficially be the second, if not Christian Ellis and some
27:32other guys on defense.
27:34You touch the defensive line.
27:35So here's the here's the two deep.
27:38Let's pretend that they go, you know, three across, right?
27:42Because it's usually been a defensive tackle, defensive tackle and some hybrid defensive
27:46and outside linebacker, Steven Gottschall and Daniel Kowali in the middle.
27:50Then you've got Keon White is this hybrid guy on one end behind them.
27:54You have Tristan Hill, Jeremiah Farms Jr. and Dietrich Weiss.
27:59And that's it.
28:00And we saw them go three defensive tackles and certain looks and 11 on 11 periods.
28:04And you can take your own experiment.
28:06That's what for training camp is for.
28:07They need another giant human being in this room to add to that because you lose to Von
28:14Gottschall and you were looking at a giant little giant hole in the middle of your run
28:18defense that you cannot afford, especially when we expect a lot of teams to try to run
28:22on the Patriots and run up the clock this season.
28:24Yeah, I just I don't know who that guy is going to be because there was some players.
28:30I forgot who it was.
28:31I think it was a I think it was like a Panthers third round pick, something like that, who
28:35got released.
28:36And I was immediately like, oh, that could be an interesting pick up for them.
28:40Yes.
28:41Browns.
28:42Browns.
28:43Yes.
28:44But then I immediately like search them on Twitter and everyone was like, this is not
28:47an NFL player.
28:48And the first clip that I saw of him was him falling down.
28:51So I was like, you know what?
28:52Maybe not.
28:53Like, you know, you know, Twitter scouting is is never going to be anyone's kind of highlights
28:59like unless you're in high school and you're pimping yourself out to recruiters.
29:03Twitter is not for self-esteem like this is.
29:06But I look.
29:07He got what's what's that?
29:08What's that gentleman's name again?
29:09What's his last name?
29:10Gentlemen.
29:11Wow.
29:12I feel like you've just aged five years with that one question.
29:13His name is Siaki Ika and he's 335 pounds and he played football at LSU and this is yes.
29:19All new information I'm acquiring from Google.
29:22Not a big step up from Twitter, but I would say a little bit more if we're so he played
29:26he played 59 snaps in the preseason this season this year and his PFF grade was 29.4.
29:35So, you know, it's what is also played a Baylor played a hundred and three snaps last
29:42season.
29:43The regular season PFF grade of 29.0.
29:46He's consistent.
29:47Consistent.
29:48Yes.
29:49We'll see.
29:50We'll see if he winds up being the guy.
29:51He's certainly fits the bill as being a big body 63, 358 pounds played at LSU as you mentioned.
29:57Also Baylor, but has not put a lot of good football on tape so far in his young NFL career.
30:03Jacqueline Roy, another guy who who knows could be a guy.
30:07Yes.
30:08Is he another LSU product?
30:11I don't think so.
30:12I think you went to a I think you went to like a smaller school of some he was and I
30:17we talked about this, but I think you do this too.
30:19And this is so in the weed.
30:20So if anyone wants to hit skip for the next 30 seconds, I completely understand Roy was
30:25one of these six seventh round.
30:27I'm just going to take a fat defensive tackle and one of the easier to get it right.
30:31Yeah, it was LSU.
30:32Yeah.
30:34So anyway, he made a mock draft at some point and I see these guys cut all the time guys
30:37from BYU, Utah.
30:38I'm like, it just the Patriots play those guys.
30:40They need them in early down to death.
30:42So come on home, Mr. Roy.
30:45He's been better than than the other guy whose name I are.
30:49Oh, come on.
30:50You got Ika.
30:51Ika.
30:52Yeah.
30:53I'm my brain is shot right now.
30:54And then this isn't a interior defensive lineman, but KJ Henry was cut by the commanders and
31:02he's the guy who sacked Jacoby percent in the third and final preseason game wasn't
31:07exactly the best play by him.
31:08He kind of had a wide open lane, but he's a guy who looks like he can play some football
31:13as a potential like outside linebacker defensive end.
31:16So I tease this at the top and we're going to hit pause in the defense for a second.
31:20And this is this is no reporting.
31:22It's nothing source.
31:23But Carolina Wave, Terrace Marshall, who is second round pick of theirs in 2021.
31:28He only has 767 career receiving yards, one touchdown.
31:32He did have almost 500 of those two years ago.
31:34And we all know Carolina has not been this, you know, dictionary definition example of
31:39functioning franchise, let alone offense.
31:41When you look at their talent, their protection, obviously quarterback play.
31:44So there's talent there.
31:46And in that year, 2021, when the Panthers drafted him, Pat Stewart, director of pro
31:50personnel now for the Patriots, was in that front office.
31:54So to me, look, they have seven receivers.
31:56They've got to do buried in the depth chart.
31:58Who also went to LSU and he's a little bit more recent in case on booty was kind of a
32:02flyer in there.
32:03Are you in there with me or out on Marshall?
32:06Ah, possibly like I think that Terrace Marshall, just because of the ties with the Panthers
32:11and and Pat Stewart potential.
32:14Other one that I've seen thrown around is Donovan Peoples Jones.
32:18He had 839 receiving yards with the Browns back in 2022.
32:22Lots of ties there with Alex Van Pelt, Scott Peters, all those guys.
32:26So he would be another one.
32:27But I'm just not fully convinced.
32:29I got I got like a weird lighting situation here that I'm trying to to like a boy shirt
32:33with like an angel popping.
32:35I know you're sitting in your lap earlier, like so at least we know that's what you need.
32:40I'm not convinced that Marshall or Peoples Jones are better than what they have.
32:46If I was looking for a wide receiver, I would be looking for someone who is a 100% upgrade
32:52over Taekwon Thornton in that X wide receiver role.
32:55And I'm just simply not convinced that either one of those guys would be that.
32:58So like another guy buried on the depth chart, I just maybe, but I'm not convinced of it.
33:06So one thing they don't tell you about this job is you get one question a lot.
33:09Hey, do you get tickets?
33:12No, I don't.
33:14I have one press pass.
33:15It's got my name on it.
33:16I am the only person I can let into Gillette Stadium on Sundays to watch the Patriots play.
33:21Well, if I was going to get you tickets, I know I would go to game time where you could
33:25find any NFL or college football game.
33:28And I've used this before myself.
33:29I told you to go to Red Sox games at Fenway.
33:31And right now game time is better than ever because they've got a new feature called game
33:35time picks.
33:36It makes getting tickets to see your favorite teams play even easier.
33:39It filters out all of the fluff, only incredible deals, all for you on great seats.
33:44So you don't have to waste time searching through thousands and thousands of tickets.
33:47Plus I mentioned I go to Fenway.
33:49This is my favorite feature.
33:51I get to see the seat view before you buy.
33:53I don't need to toggle between one site than buying the other.
33:56And then check if there are lowest prices at game time or elsewhere, because they're
34:00at game time.
34:01They have a lowest price guaranteed and event cancellation protection, job loss protection,
34:05everything.
34:06And if you find a lower price elsewhere, they give you 110% of that refund.
34:09So go to game time.
34:10Now download the app, create an account and use code CLNS for $20 off your first purchase
34:17terms to apply.
34:18Again, create an account and redeem code CLNS for $20 off your first purchase.
34:23Pat's tickets at home, Pat's tickets on the road, college football on Saturdays, whatever
34:27you want.
34:28Just download game time today.
34:29What time is it?
34:31Game time.
34:32So Peoples Jones, for folks who don't know, is also a Vesta veteran.
34:37He would be able to sign as soon as possible, got traded from the Browns to the Lions last
34:41year following that breakout 2022 season, when Jacoby Brissett was the starting quarterback
34:45for most of that year.
34:47And now the Lions have said, see ya, we don't need you.
34:50Right.
34:51And the Browns said see ya.
34:52Right.
34:53Right.
34:54Right.
34:55Right.
34:56Right.
34:57After that season, mid season, just said, just said goodbye.
34:58So to me, they're not eager, obviously, to keep them around.
34:59Their receiver situations are much better than the Patriots, by definition of just being
35:03another NFL team.
35:05But as we know, the tie is going to go when playing time decisions are made to the kids,
35:10to the rookies.
35:11That'll be Jalen Polk, Javon Baker, Bob Douglas even.
35:14And Taequann Thornton is a third-year player, so I guess we could include him.
35:17Honestly, though, I'm kind of backtracking a little bit.
35:21Ultimately, I think Taequann Thornton will be the X-wide receiver, and that they probably
35:27won't add one of these guys.
35:29But in a vacuum, you're starting X-wide receiver of Taequann Thornton versus Donovan Peebles-Jones.
35:36Peebles-Jones has just done so much more in the NFL.
35:38You might feel more confident if he's your starting X-wide receiver than Taequann Thornton.
35:42We'll see what Thornton can do.
35:43They've worked with him all camp.
35:44But yeah, I don't know.
35:46Who knows?
35:47Maybe they do wind up grabbing one of those guys.
35:48I think there's some other wide receivers who could get cut that we just haven't seen
35:52yet or I haven't seen the full list yet.
35:53But I don't know.
35:55There could be a way to upgrade, but it would be a moderate upgrade, I think.
35:59So I'm with you in a vacuum.
36:01Donovan Peebles-Jones is a better football player than Taequann Thornton, as far as they've
36:04shown so far.
36:05But we know this is not a one-for-one conversation, not even because of Polk or Baker, because
36:09you're going, OK, he starts at the X. K.J. Osborne is at the Z. OK, where's Jalen Polk
36:14going to play?
36:15Because ideally, he starts, right?
36:16Like, something will have been wrong if Polk is not starting week four or five at one of
36:21those outside spots.
36:22Because Pop Douglas is camping out.
36:25He doesn't even need to mark his territory.
36:27The slot is his and will be for as long as he wants.
36:30So if you add another player like that, and I know fans are going to clamor for it, and
36:34I get it, even Donovan Peebles-Jones or other players, well, it's going to be at the expense
36:39of Jalen Polk or K.J. Osborne, which I know people don't care about.
36:44But if you're getting another veteran of his level, why not just roll with Osborne, who's
36:48been here, knows the system, has been working with the quarterbacks?
36:51And if you want to go Osborne versus Peebles-Jones, to me, that's a wash.
36:55Yeah, I think that's fair.
36:57And yeah, I mean, it looks like Peebles-Jones kind of split his snaps between the slot and
37:00out wide back in 2023 and 2022.
37:04So yeah, probably more of a Z anyway than an X, but I don't know.
37:08We'll see.
37:09I'm just not overly excited about any of the wide receivers I've seen out there so far.
37:12Okay, so they're going to add to the defensive line to go back to 10 minutes ago.
37:16We don't know what the names are yet, but let's just jump into the secondary.
37:20We had seven cornerbacks kept so far.
37:23Marcellus Dial, I think, could still be, as an older prospect, six-round pick, a casualty
37:28of cut-down day just in the sequel.
37:32Then it's safety.
37:33Del Pettis, undrafted rookie, got in.
37:36He's there.
37:37It's him.
37:38Kyle Duggar, Jabril Peppers, Jalen Hawkins.
37:40I was first on Del Pettis.
37:42I swear I was first.
37:44I have to have been first.
37:46There's someone in my CLNS crew here who I think is probably going to argue with you.
37:52Wow.
37:53Okay, maybe.
37:54I do feel like our guys, our guys, fellow friends, Taylor Kiles, Mike Kadlik, Alex Barth
38:00is in there, and Brian Hines cast a lot of nets.
38:05There was some Deshaun Fenwick stock that was bought up, and I said, that's a bad buy
38:10because this guy is not sticking around, got cut, and then came back and got cut again.
38:14I'm just going to say, if you want to claim you were first, talk to them.
38:17That is the extent of this part, aside from shouting out our guys who do very good work
38:21and are on top of it always at CLNS and Patriots Press Pass YouTube channel that I just don't
38:27know.
38:28Anyway, I was late to the Del Pettis party.
38:30I'm looking around.
38:31You're all having a great time, and you're celebrating today.
38:33How did he make this roster?
38:35I've made a lot of plays in training camp.
38:36Looked pretty good in the preseason.
38:38He was another one who was highlighted as a late camp standout, and if you're going
38:43to keep a guy on the roster, like what I was mentioning earlier, maybe some other team
38:49saw tape on Del Pettis during the preseason and heard people talking about him in training
38:53camp and say, let's take a risk on a young safety like Del Pettis that you're not as
38:58afraid of losing a guy like Mitchell Wilcox or a guy like Kevin Harris.
39:02I think that these are the roster conversations that you have to have.
39:06I think it's also valuable for the Patriots to prove to players in the future, look, this
39:11is an undrafted free agent, and he made the roster.
39:14So if you sign here, there's a possibility that you could be the next Del Pettis or in
39:18the past a guy like Jonathan Jones, or you can list them all, the undrafted free agents
39:24who have made the Patriots roster, but I also think that's just valuable from that standpoint
39:27as well.

44:19week and then roll into Cincinnati. Uh last position
44:22here or special teams. Do you have anything besides? Yeah,
44:25Joey Sly won. We all saw it and Chad Ryland's bad days were
44:28worse than his. Yeah, I I also just sort of think it was
44:32honestly pretty even like I'm kinda surprised the Patriots
44:35couldn't get a trade done for Chad Ryland. I think they tried
44:37to um but I don't think Chad Ryland was like horrible this
44:41summer or anything like that. Joey Sly was just slightly
44:44better and that's why he won like the slightly better guy
44:46won. I think um no pun intended Sly Sly to feel
44:50better. Um. Oh god. But uh I it came to my mind. I you started
44:56smiling. So, I was like, did did Andrew pick on something
44:59that I didn't? Um I don't know. I don't have a lot of
45:02thoughts on this. I think that the right guy won and I think
45:05that ultimately, there was just bad vibes from last year with
45:09Chad Ryland. I think that he did try to improve. He's a good
45:12guy but I think it's best with how it went last year to just
45:15move on to someone else. Yeah and you know, I I said this in
45:19the last episode. It's great. It's cool. If you play really
45:23well at any position, the first week, week and a half of
45:25training camp. Yeah. That doesn't matter as much if you
45:28are then worse in a position competition for the rest of
45:31camp or don't perform to that level in the last week and a
45:34half. Right. Everyone's worn down. You're in pads. It's more
45:37competitive. You'll understand where you are and where things
45:40are trending because that's what the coaches are gonna lean
45:42on and especially in that lens, who is better lately and who
45:45is better at longer kicks even though he missed 260 plus
45:47yarders at Washington. Joey Sly was the guy. So, I don't think
45:51kicker is gonna suddenly be this like strength of the
45:54football team but whether it's vibes or just you look at the
45:56pure on-field product, Joey Sly was a better kicker. So, Chad
46:00Ryland moves on. He is a good kid. I know he went back to a
46:02lot of his old fundamentals. They got him drafted in the
46:04fourth round. He got plenty of leg strength. Did not really
46:07agree with the techniques taught by Joe Houston and and um
46:11Cam Accord last year. They're gone. He was better. Just not
46:14good enough. Uh okay. Last one linebacker. I I don't have many
46:17thoughts here either. Like it's it it was fairly predictable
46:20for me writing up those practice reports every day. I'd
46:22get down to the section. Um okay. Jelani started. Juwan
46:27Bentley started again. Raycon McMillan's in there.
46:29Christian Ellis in there. Okay. Uh alright. Next defensive
46:33backs. Like I was that was in. That's what we have. Bentley's
46:36here. Yeah. McMillan and Christian Ellis. I think your
46:39core special teamers. They're in there. Anthony Jennings,
46:41O'Shane Ziminis, and Josh Uche are on the edge. What did I
46:43miss? Uh Joe Joe Giles Harris overall I think had a good camp.
46:47He wasn't a crazy standout or anything like that. Good camp,
46:51good preseason, but he's been around the league and like once
46:56again going back to that conversation like you should
46:58feel pretty confident that you can get Joe Giles Harris
47:01through waivers on your practice squad where he can be
47:04that further depth that linebacker or you even
47:08potentially bring him up for special teams duties if
47:11necessary, but like that's just not a player that you need to
47:14keep on your roster because you can get him through and you can
47:18get him on your practice squad just as easily. He's he's more
47:21of a practice squad player than he is a 53 man roster player at
47:24this point in his career. Yeah, I will say you know that was
47:27one other note I had and I might have even said it on here
47:29is like look if you wanna get down into the weeds where it's
47:33basically just dirt the back from inside linebacker
47:36competition was one of the closest ones to camp because
47:38Joe Giles Harris even saw this at Washington getting into
47:41passing lanes getting his hands on balls, but it also speaks to
47:44the larger truth of just hey the second half of preseason
47:47games and you know running with the third stringers. It's just
47:51not that telling about being a football player. The more
47:53telling part is you're playing that deep in the preseason
47:55games where you're playing that late into practice when they're
47:58handing out reps. That's where he was. That's where he lived.
48:00I think him and Ellis and even Rayquan McMillan had good camps,
48:03but Joe Giles Harris was not the one running with three out
48:06of four special teams units and so the two guys who were got
48:09the bump for me and they made the team and I think Joe Giles
48:11Harris might be back and good for him. Like again, these guys
48:14to make it to get where they wanna go make as much money as
48:17they can, but it's just not gonna happen. Anything else we
48:20missed here any position any player again. I mentioned every
48:24single draft pick made it from this class. I think rebuilding
48:27teams do that. They pick the players obviously they like
48:29them. They wanna give more run. I don't have still long term
48:31hopes for Jane Bell or Marcella style based on what I've seen
48:35so far. I'm not ruling it out, but that's that's basically all
48:38I got. Well, what's your predicted starting offensive
48:42line week one? This is a good question. Cuz you know what
48:48occurred to me too is that Mike has also played a little left
48:52guard in his NFL career and it didn't go particularly well in
48:552021 when he'd come back from playing right guard or my
48:58tackle and bounce around was a stutter because then he gets
49:01benched in that week four game Brady back, but of course we
49:04all remember it is the day that Ted Karras took over and
49:06didn't lose that left guard job. It's true from then on out,
49:09but if they really wanted to move him over, you could keep
49:11Leighton Robinson at right guard and then a core for right
49:15tackle who knows about left tackle. All of which is to say
49:17I don't know I like it that the health part on low and and so
49:21keeps me from giving any good answer, which feels like a cop
49:24out. But if it is, you know you can call me out on it. No, I
49:29I think it's fair. I I I still think it's probably gonna be
49:34low. So Andrews a when you a core for but like if those guys
49:40are hurt, then it could also wind up being a core for left
49:45tackle Michael Jordan at left guard David Andrews at center
49:49Leighton Robinson at right guard and Michael when he went
49:51right tackle like literally every other position can be
49:54changed around depending on which guys can play and which
49:58combination the Patriots like the most. The only thing we
50:00know the only thing we know about the offensive line is that
50:03David Andrews is gonna be at center. Every single other
50:06position is up for grabs and who knows what's gonna happen.
50:11That's concerning II tweeted during the game. Not not a very
50:16serious night of tweeting and from being on said right on
50:18deadline as did you David Andrews should ask for another
50:21raise and extension. The more time passes MVP. I just need to
50:25send that to his agent and be like, hey, you know if this
50:28this happens like 0.01%, are we are we cool cuz I got a lot
50:32more attention than you would think for NFL center over 30
50:36should get more money. Everyone's on board cuz we're
50:38all watching the same thing going. Yeah. Oh god. Oh please
50:42god. Oh someone's gonna get hurt. Oh there it is. Yeah and
50:46I think that you know if they can find a center, that's one
50:48thing that we didn't talk about too much. I don't know who the
50:50available guys are out there but like yeah, finding a guy
50:54concept the ball is is kind of a should be a priority for the
50:58Patriots if they don't trust Nick Clever, which after that
51:00Sunday night game, I'm not sure if they can trust Nick Clever
51:03as a center. So we'll end there. If you played high
51:05school football or you played college where you successfully
51:08snap the ball, the New England Patriots are looking for you.
51:10Please apply to actually I think I could probably guess
51:14your email. We're not gonna give it out. We are just gonna
51:16say thank you to Doug for coming on as always the
51:19people's favorite guest. We'll be back Thursday special
51:21edition. Not as much deep into the weeds talk. This is gonna
51:24be zoom out. It's gonna be a lot of fun. A lot of laughs
51:26about how to help you survive watching potentially a team
51:30going for the number one overall pick in a very good
51:32way. This is not being facetious. This is not
51:35twisting the knife just to do it because you get plenty of
51:37that in Boston media space. You know here you can kind of
51:39laughs and sats and fun. So with that we're gonna say
51:42goodbye and see you in a couple days and thank you again
51:44Doug. Absolutely.
