00:00Earlier this morning, I was lucky enough to see Flightline take flight.
00:06I caught up with his trainer, John Sadler, to find out exactly what he thought of Flightline's
00:12work.
00:13Flightline had a beautiful work this morning, went 59 and change with Flavie and Pratt in
00:19preparation for the Met Mile.
00:22Pratt was very happy with the work, I was very happy.
00:26You know, when you watch it online, you'll see just how easily he floats along there,
00:30doesn't look like he's working.
00:32We've worked really hard on getting him to settle nicely and Pratt really felt that today,
00:37that, you know, he was really relaxed the first part.
00:39So really good day for us.
00:43He's over his little blip that he had that caused him to miss a race and it's all things
00:48forward so looking forward to the Met Mile.
00:52What was the reasoning for bringing Pratt in to work him today?
00:55Well, he's just a regular rider, you know, and he hasn't been on him in a while.
00:59It just seemed like the timing was good, you know, I think he wants to come out here and
01:03see his house is still here.
01:06Nobody moved in and Pratt, his agent, has still got family here so they just came in
01:11for the day.
01:12It's great to see him and just reconnect a little bit.
01:16This is a horse that, you know, you do some unusual things with.
01:20Describe unusual things, John.
01:22He's flying a jockey across country to work him because he's an unusual horse.
01:27Is that what makes him quite so brilliant?
01:29Well, what makes him so brilliant is he can do it so easily, you know.
01:33When you look at the work today, it looks like he's not even working, it looks like
01:37he's galloping.
01:38He's just that good.
01:39What's the plan here on out towards the Met Mile?
01:42He's got two or three more works before New York but right now we're right on schedule,
01:47ahead of schedule.
01:52The Met Mile is a project of the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines and is a project of the
