00:00Hello, well it looks like summer is set to return just in time for those going
00:05back to school on Monday so that means a weekend of some sunshine but some
00:10cloudy mornings as well and we'll see the clouds set in throughout Friday
00:14evening across many central and southern areas as well as parts of the Pennines
00:17where some drizzly rain could continue overnight. Any showers though that we've
00:22seen across Wales and the southeast will fade away to leave many a dry night but
00:27it is going to be quite a murky start to the weekend for the bulk of the country
00:31once again similar to what we saw on Friday morning and because there's
00:34plenty of cloud around and the air is quite humid at the moment it will feel
00:38quite mild out there once again in central areas only as low as 15 or 16
00:42degrees but in the far north notice it's much clearer up there across northern
00:46Scotland so it'll be another chilly start on Saturday morning temperatures
00:50as low as 2 degrees are possible but despite the chilly feel it will feel be
00:55much sunnier up here to start the day and that sunshine will become more
00:59widespread throughout Saturday so despite the cloudy start the sun will
01:03break through by lunchtime. We could see the odd shower pep up by lunchtime as
01:08well across southern and eastern areas the odd one of these could be heavy but
01:13most should dodge all the showers and in the sunshine across the bulk of the UK
01:18it's going to be feeling warm highs of 25-24 degrees and quite widely in the
01:23low 20s across the whole of the UK. Now it will feel start to turn a little bit
01:28cloudier across the far northwest of Scotland as you see this front coming in
01:33from the northwest and that will become an increasing feature for the north of
01:37Scotland throughout Saturday night so we'll see the breeze pick up clouds
01:41thicken and some rain on and off through the night but it will pep up for a time
01:45through the early hours. Elsewhere though clear spells and we'll see mist and fog
01:50patches developing in prone areas across the southeast as well as northwestern
01:54areas of England and southeastern Scotland as well so it could be a misty
01:59murky start once again for some areas on Sunday morning but by and large a decent
02:04start to the day. With more clear spells overnight Saturday night it will feel
02:08slightly fresher but still a relatively mild night. So through Sunday many areas
02:14seeing a bright sunshine to start any mist and fog should clear by mid morning
02:19across the far north though we do continue to see that cloud and rain
02:23through the day but the bulk of the country seeing some bright sunshine
02:27hazy at times but it's going to feel that much warmer than the temperatures
02:31on Saturday. Highs of 26 possibly 27 degrees in the southeast but as high as
02:3724 degrees across the southwest and across parts of Scotland as well so a
02:42widely very warm day. And those temperatures are going to continue to
02:47rise as we head into early part of next week. High pressure still in charge it
02:51becomes slightly more centered to the east of the UK and that allows this
02:55southerly feed to develop pulling up this warm air from the near continent
02:59allowing temperatures to continue to rise in towards the middle of the week
03:04so we could see some heatwave thresholds met for some areas of the country. So
03:09it's best to keep up to date with the forecast with the temperatures rising
03:12and you can do that by following us on social media. Have a lovely weekend.
