00:00Hello, good afternoon. The settled weather should last for another day or so. It is going
00:04to turn more unsettled across more southern areas from Friday and into the weekend, however.
00:09But for the time being, high pressure is dominating our weather. This is a satellite picture from
00:14this morning. Still quite a lot of cloud around across many southern areas of the UK, the
00:19east coast in particular. That's because this area of high pressure is bringing an easterly
00:23wind. But we'll continue to see the influence of that high pressure through Wednesday and
00:28Thursday, particularly across more northern areas. Risk of showers starting to develop
00:32across the south by Friday. And any cloud from this morning should clear up quite nicely
00:38as that high pressure gets to work. Plenty more sunshine to come once again this afternoon.
00:43There is a bit of an easterly breeze, though, particularly across southeastern areas through
00:47this afternoon, but also across some western areas of Wales. And that will bring a slightly
00:52fresher feel. But despite the breeze still feeling quite warm in the sunshine, particularly
00:56for the time of year, actually, temperatures climbing towards the mid-20s across some far
01:01southeastern areas of England. But for many of us in the low 20s or high teens, as well
01:06as across some parts of western Scotland through today, it will turn a little bit fresher across
01:10western Scotland as we head into Thursday, however. And overnight, that easterly wind
01:15will drag in more in the way of cloud across particularly eastern coasts of northern England,
01:20some coasts of northeastern Scotland as well. We could see quite a lot of mist and murk
01:25around by tomorrow morning. I think the clouds likely to be a bit more extensive by Thursday
01:29morning compared to this morning. However, many western areas, particularly across the
01:34northwest, should escape any of that cloud and with lighter winds across more northwestern
01:38areas, temperatures will fall away a little lower. We could come close to zero, but I
01:42think for most of us it's going to be a fairly mild night for most of us and still quite
01:47a lot of bright weather to come first thing across the north and west elsewhere. Probably
01:51a bit of a murky and dull start to the day. But once again, that cloud should clear up
01:56for most areas, I think actually across some eastern coasts of northern England, parts
02:00of Scotland as well. The cloud will hang around a little bit longer into tomorrow. And once
02:05again, there'll still be a fairly fresh breeze, particularly across parts of southern England
02:09and Wales. But temperatures still climbing towards 25, 26 degrees possibly across the
02:14south and east. But where we do see that cloud hanging around across the north and east temperatures
02:19here pegged back a little bit towards the mid to lower teens. So, slightly cooler day
02:24to come across the north and east as well as the northwest tomorrow. We're starting
02:28to see some more in the way of cloud. But across the south and west, another bright
02:33day to come and a fairly fine evening in fact. However, we'll start to see the influence
02:38of that more unsettled weather arriving through Thursday night. You can see some showers developing
02:43across the near continent through Thursday evening and that's where we'll start to see
02:47the wet weather arriving across southern areas. So, there's a risk of some quite heavy
02:50downpours as well as thunderstorms from Friday all the way through the weekend across parts
02:56of England and Wales. You can find more details on that though on our latest 10-day trend
03:00on YouTube. Bye-bye.
