00:00Hello and welcome to your latest national weather forecast from the Met
00:03Office. We'll see the sunshine start to become a little bit more limited as we
00:07head into our new working week and that's because high pressures shifting
00:11off to the east for a little while and that will allow more unsettled picture
00:14with low pressures fronts and fresher air across the UK for at least the first
00:18part of next week. For now though for the rest of Sunday high pressure is still in
00:24charge so that will mean clear spells for much of England and Wales overnight
00:29but rain and cloudier weather will push into parts of Northern Ireland and
00:32North West Scotland to start on Monday so it will be a damp and breezy start
00:36here. Different though across England and Wales where it could be a little chilly
00:40to start especially across the southeast but through the day across much of
00:44England and Wales there'll be hazy sunshine and warm sunshine as well with
00:48highs of 20 or 23 degrees. Much cooler across Northern Ireland and Scotland and
00:55into northwestern parts of England than Sunday with temperatures in the mid
00:59teens here. It'll be quite breezy as well with the rain turning heavy at times
01:03especially over high ground. Into the evening the rain arrives into parts of
01:08North and West Wales still staying dry across the south though. On Tuesday we'll
01:13see further showery rain mainly across northern areas but by Wednesday there
01:17could be some more widespread and potentially heavy rain but make sure you
01:21keep up to date with the latest forecasts by following us on our social
01:25media channels. Have a lovely rest of your day.
