00:00Hello there. Welcome to your latest Met Office forecast. We've had low pressure dominating
00:06through the weekend. In fact, low pressure continues to remain across the U.K. as we
00:11go through Monday, turning quite wet, particularly across parts of England and Wales. But there
00:15is some hope on the horizon. High pressure starts to build as we head towards the middle
00:20of the week and bringing some higher temperatures as well. We do have rain though spreading
00:25in this evening across southern and western parts of the U.K. This rain pushing north-eastwards
00:30into the early hours across England and Wales, turning heavy. And Met Office warning out
00:34for that heavy rain across northern parts of England, western Wales, some localised
00:39flooding possible here. So expect some disruption as we head into Monday morning. Clearest bells
00:45across Northern Ireland and Scotland, though there will be a few showers here. And here
00:50is where we'll see the lowest temperatures, perhaps just about dipping into single figures
00:54in the glens. But for most, generally holding up in double figures, 14 to 17 Celsius. So
01:00wet start across England and Wales to start Monday morning. The rain heavy at times and
01:05this slowly pushes its way eastwards as we go through the day, a developing area of low
01:09pressure. So the winds may start to pick up as well, particularly in the east through
01:13the afternoon and into the evening, but turning brighter from the west behind it. Across Northern
01:18Ireland and Scotland, brighter spells here, some sunny spells, but also a scattering of
01:22showers. Some of these showers on the heavy side as well. In terms of temperatures, quite
01:27similar to recent days overall, generally the high teens to low 20s. Perhaps we could
01:33squeeze a 23 or 24 Celsius in the best of any brighter breaks later on in the day. And
01:39as I mentioned, the winds just starting to pick up towards eastern England as that low
01:43pressure starts to move off the scene. Still the risk of some heavy bursts of rain across
01:49Northern England for a time in the evening and then that low pressure moves out the way
01:53into Monday night, Tuesday morning. We'll see a calmer night to come. Generally clear
01:58spells developing as winds fall light. We could see one or two shallow mist and fog
02:02patches forming and still the risk of a few showers across northern and western areas
02:07though generally on the light side and temperatures again generally holding up around 13 to 15
02:13Celsius. So it means generally a brighter start to Tuesday morning. Sunny spells, any
02:18mist and fog patches quickly clearing and then the day ahead is going to be a day of
02:22sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers bubble up through into the afternoon. Some
02:26of them could be on the heavy side, the odd rumble of thunder, but there will be places
02:31that stay dry and bright and with generally light winds it will feel fairly warm in the
02:35sunshine. Temperatures again reaching into the low 20s, 23 or 24 Celsius towards the
02:41southeast. And then as I mentioned, high pressure starting to build in as we head towards Wednesday
02:47onwards. So it will start to become drier. We'll see more in the way of sunny spells
02:51and temperatures starting to rise, but the humidity rising as well by the end of the
02:55week into next weekend. We could see an increasing risk of thunderstorms. So if you'd like more
