00:00Hello there. Welcome to your latest Met Office forecast. Well, it's going to be a mixed weekend
00:06once more as another area of low pressure moves in from the Atlantic. Looking at the
00:11pressure pattern for the weekend, this area of low pressure isn't going to go anywhere
00:16quickly. It hangs around for Saturday and Sunday giving showers, longer spells of rain
00:21and fairly brisk winds too, feeling cooler than recent days as well. So, for the rest
00:28of Friday, a fairly dry end today across many parts of England and Wales, though rain
00:32will push into parts of Northern Ireland and into the early hours western parts of Scotland.
00:38Some of this will be heavy at times. Clearer skies holding on to the far east and for all,
00:43it will be a little fresher than recent nights. Temperatures generally 14 to 16 Celsius. In
00:49the countryside, a little lower than this, but for many, a little bit more comfortable
00:54for sleeping compared to recent nights. Some early sunshine across eastern England. First
00:58thing Saturday morning. Wet weather across the west will slowly push its way eastwards
01:03through the day. Some of the rain turning heavy at times across northern England. Some
01:06rumbles of thunder too. Breaking up into showers for the afternoon. Fairly cloudy skies, but
01:11there will be some sunny breaks in between. Some of the showers could be on the heavy
01:14side. If you manage to avoid the showers, it won't feel too bad. But there will be fairly
01:19brisk winds across the country and temperatures lower than recent days. 23 or 24 as a high.
01:25High teens to low 20s across the country. So just feeling a little cooler where exposed
01:31to that breeze around the coasts. Into the evening time, showers continue, perhaps more
01:35frequent as well across the far northwest as the centre of the low pushes in. Some clearer
01:40spells overnight developing across central and eastern areas. But for most, showers will
01:45continue. The winds do start to ease a little towards the end of the night and temperatures
01:49once more remaining in double figures. So a fairly warm start to Sunday morning. There'll
01:55be some sunny spells, but a lot of cloud around. Showers from the word go. This occlusion bringing
02:00further spells of rain to parts of northern Ireland and western Scotland through the day,
02:05which could be heavy at times. But generally overall on Sunday, there will be drier periods
02:10for most. The showers a little bit more well scattered until later on in the day when this
02:14area of rain starts to push in towards the southwest, increasing the cloud here. Winds
02:20will also be lighter overall. We just feel a little warmer compared to Saturday. Generally,
02:25the high teens to low 20s once more and then this weather spreading in, bringing wet weather
02:30for many as we head into the early hours of Monday. So overall, low pressure dominating
02:36the weather seen right through the weekend. If you'd like more information, you can follow
