00:00Hello. Yet another day where it feels like April. Lots of showers to dodge, some blue
00:05sky between the downpours, but there will be some pretty heavy ones yet again. The spiral
00:10of cloud in the satellite picture, that's an area of low pressure heading away to the
00:14northeast but still spilling in bands of showers across northern Scotland, northern England
00:19and southern Scotland as well. And even elsewhere where we've started off with some sunshine,
00:23the clouds are now bubbling up and the showers are getting going. Lines of showers across
00:27parts of England and Wales means some areas may not see too many, particularly on the
00:32south coast of England and Wales. But elsewhere, expect some heavy downpours to come and go,
00:37particularly across northern Scotland, some intense, slow moving downpours possible here
00:41and for northern Ireland too. But as I said, between the showers, there will be at least
00:46some sunny spirals with that brisk breeze bringing a cool feel. Temperatures might just
00:51get into the low 20s across the southeast, but mostly we're looking at high teens for
00:56many and feeling cooler certainly when the showers come along. And there'll be plenty
00:59more of those during the evening. So for the rush hour, a lot of spray surface water on
01:04the roads. One minute it's dry, the next minute you're caught in a downpour. They do tend
01:09to fade, the showers as we go through this evening. Many places will become dry during
01:13the early hours, but more cloud and showers keeping going around these western areas.
01:18And then into Thursday morning, temperatures starting 13, 14 Celsius. We should also start
01:23with some sunshine over the Midlands, eastern England, parts of eastern Scotland too. Again,
01:28it will be a case of sunshine and showers tomorrow, but I think more sunshine, not as
01:32many showers really the emphasis. Still some heavy ones possible, particularly come the
01:37afternoon over central and eastern England and parts of Scotland. Again, seeing some
01:41pretty big downpours, but the showers much more scattered over southwest England and
01:47Wales. A decent chance here of a dry afternoon actually with some good spirals of sunshine
01:51coming through. The breeze a little lighter tomorrow as well. The temperatures perhaps
01:54a little bit higher, certainly probably feeling a bit warmer because those winds will be light
01:58and there won't be as many showers around. Still just about getting into the low 20s
02:03across eastern England and further south, maybe 20 or 21 further north. We're still
02:07looking at high teens. So generally around about or a touch below average for the time
02:12of year. Now we are looking west for more clouds spilling in during Thursday evening,
02:17likely to bring some rain to parts of Wales and Northern Ireland. And then eyes look down
02:22to the southwest as a fairly deep area of low pressure starts to develop. In fact, it's
02:27a double pronged attack as we go into Friday, this one bringing some cloud and rain as we
02:32saw earlier. But this one especially needs watching because it could develop into quite
02:35a nasty low. The isobar squeezing together, suggesting the winds could pick up some unseasonably
02:40strong winds as this low moves in during Friday. And it's likely to last in one form or another
02:46even into the weekend. So a spell of wet and windy weather crossing the country during
02:51Friday and Saturday. For more details on that, watch our ten day trend later. That'll be
02:57on YouTube and just keep up to date generally by following us right across social media.
