00:00Hello. Temperatures will be the big talking point with our weather for the
00:04next several days. Make sure you're following the Met Office. We'll have the
00:08latest on current temperatures and the forecast temperatures throughout this
00:12week. High pressure has been dominating for a while, hence why we're talking
00:16about hot sunny weather for most on Monday. This weather front will bring a
00:20bit of a change over the next couple of days, but for Monday it's very warm out
00:25there. Temperatures rising to the mid-20s across pretty much all parts of
00:30the UK. High 20s across England, Wales and 30 Celsius likely over parts of
00:34eastern England. 33 somewhere in the London area. 25, 26 across eastern Scotland.
00:3924 in the east of Northern Ireland. A little cooler in the far northwest where
00:43that weather front will be approaching. The breeze picking up a little bit and
00:46there will be increasing amounts of cloud as well. That will spill in further
00:51through this evening bringing some rain across the Western Isles during the
00:54evening and then that thicker cloud and patchy rain will spread to Scotland and
00:58Northern Ireland overnight as this weather front moves in. For England and
01:02Wales though it is a very uncomfortable night for sleeping. Temperatures staying
01:07in the high teens even potentially staying above 20 Celsius across parts of
01:12northeast England. So as I said that's pretty oppressive, a very difficult night
01:15for sleeping. That weather front bringing the cloud and the patchy rain is
01:18introducing cooler air across the northwest. But as I say for most of us a
01:23very warm start to Tuesday. Very different day though for the central
01:27belt and for Northern Ireland's thick clouds outbreaks of rain and drizzle here
01:31and there. Tending to fizzle out as we head into the afternoon. Some sunshine
01:35will follow across Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland. Plenty of hazy sunshine
01:40for England and Wales. A bit more cloud compared to Monday. So temperatures not
01:44quite as high but still we're likely to get over 30 Celsius across parts of the
01:48southeast and more widely in the mid to high 20s. But notice a drop in
01:53temperatures behind that cold front across Scotland and Northern Ireland. A
01:57bit more comfortable here for sleeping on Tuesday night. That thicker clouds
02:02will continue to trickle southwards. The rain continuing to fizzle out. A few
02:05showers just coming into the Highlands and the Western Isles through Tuesday
02:09evening. But that weather front is pushing across the country. It then
02:14clears out of the way but then another high pressure moves in. Notice weather
02:17fronts will bring some cloud and rain across parts of the north on Friday. But
02:21this high looks like returning the sunny skies for many as we head into next
02:26weekend. However we will see that change in temperatures. The heat building today
02:32and tomorrow. But that cold front does introduce less hot air for Wednesday and
02:38Thursday. And those weather fronts as I say will bring some rain across parts of
02:42the north. As the high moves back in signs of the heat building. Certainly in
02:46the south as we go through next weekend. But details of that and just how high
02:51the temperatures are going to get. Well as I said stay up to date with the Met
02:54office and we'll firm up on details over the next few days. The best way to
02:58follow us right across social media.
