00:00Hello again. Once more, a lot of cloud will cover the UK and there will be further showers
00:06feeding in from the North Sea around an area of high pressure. Proof that high pressure
00:10doesn't always lead to fine and sunny weather. In this case, the feed from the North Sea
00:15is bringing in a lot of cloud and there's this occluded front towards the far south-east
00:19bringing some more persistent rain to Kent. It's going to stick around through much of
00:23the afternoon. Otherwise, it's showers mainly affecting the east and central parts of England
00:27but also a few reaching east Wales, perhaps the odd one reaching Exmoor, for example.
00:33However, further west and further north-west in particular, the drier and brighter it will
00:37be and a hole will develop once again in the cloud across western Scotland. That's where
00:41the sunniest skies will be. Typically, temperatures at 8 to 10 Celsius but feeling colder with
00:47the breeze coming from the North Sea. And that breeze will continue to push showers
00:52westwards and the feature that I mentioned across Kent, that will also move westwards
00:56during the evening. Behind that, actually, skies do clear into the far south-east and
01:03perhaps the Isle of Wight, parts of Hampshire as well by the end of the night. Some broken
01:07cloud elsewhere across the south and the west but the clearest skies again, western Scotland,
01:12a frost here and a frost as well where we see those clear spells in the south. But a
01:18lot of cloud elsewhere keeping things frost-free but also maintaining that showery look to
01:22the weather as we begin Wednesday across the Pennines, southern uplands and across
01:27the Midlands as well. One or two showers affecting Wales and the south-west first thing but actually
01:32brighter skies will develop in the south and the west through Wednesday afternoon. Some
01:37holes in the cloud, you can see a bit more of a speckled appearance there so some brighter
01:41interludes at times. The showers more confined to the east of England by the end of the afternoon
01:46and for many then, it is a drier and brighter end to the day. Temperatures, very similar
01:52to the last couple of days at or just above average, 7-9 Celsius typically but again feeling
01:58a bit raw with that wind coming from the North Sea. Then as we go through Wednesday night,
02:05again some holes in the clouds in the far south across some western fringes and more
02:10especially western Scotland. So where we see the cloud breaks, a frost once more but otherwise
02:16a lot of cloud and similar conditions really into Thursday, Friday, Saturday, there will
02:20be some clear spells coming along at times, some sunniness by day but the weather very
02:24static right now and then it all changes through the weekend and into the start of next week.
02:30The deep dive on YouTube is worth watching later on.
