00:00Hello and thank you for listening to the latest weather forecast from the Met Office.
00:03So today is rather cloudy with some outbreaks of rain and drizzle with some bright spells in the far east.
00:09It's all thanks to an area of low pressure currently in the Irish Sea
00:13and that is moving slowly eastwards during the course of the day.
00:17So today is rather cloudy with some rain and drizzle across parts of England, Wales and Northern Ireland,
00:22brightening up across central and eastern areas
00:26and some showery rain in the far north of Scotland that's moving south during the course of the day,
00:32feeling rather warm in the sunshine with highs of 24 and 25 degrees C.
00:36Everywhere else stuck under the cloud is feeling rather cool with temperatures disappointingly only into the high teens.
00:43So moving into this evening, so rain and cloud clearing the south of England with some clear spells developing behind.
00:50Some showers across from some northern parts and overnight temperatures generally sticking around 12 and 13 degrees C across England and Wales.
00:58Fairly cool across northern parts, only dropping into high single figures.
01:04Moving into Monday, so a few showers in the east at first and then some showers developing across north Wales and northeast England.
01:12Elsewhere, lots of dry fine weather with some clear skies and cloud in central parts.
01:18High temperatures tomorrow reaching 20 to 21 degrees C across England and Wales.
01:22Fairly disappointing further north.
01:26Moving into the outlook period, so staying rather cloudy with further outbreaks of light rain in places and some sunny spells developing later in the week.
01:36Thank you very much for listening to the latest weather forecast.
