00:00Hello there. Through the next few days I can promise you some sunshine in the forecast but also one or two heavy showers.
00:08However, through Tuesday evening and into Wednesday morning we do have some rain across England.
00:15Heavy rain at that, there's a warning out till nine o'clock through Tuesday evening.
00:19Now this rain associated with this weather system only slowly clearing towards the North Sea.
00:24So we hang on to some damp conditions anywhere from borders to Norfolk through the early hours of the morning.
00:30Across the western side of Scotland and Northern Ireland this is a weak weather front again introducing some sporadic bursts of showery rain.
00:38In between some clearer skies but we will see some mist and fog patches forming with a light breeze.
00:45Here are your temperatures, generally in double figures but we could possibly see a nine down towards Dumfries and Galloway.
00:52And here with some brighter skies to start the day.
00:54Across much of Scotland though cloudy, a little bit of showery rain coming and going extending towards Northern Ireland.
01:00Perhaps a little bit of brightness to start the day for Cumbria, Lancashire, down towards Ceredigion as well as Gwynedd and Anglesey.
01:08But further east that's where the thicker cloud will be and again a little bit of showery rain.
01:13The legacy of that weather system which brought heavy rain on Tuesday and it will eventually dry up for a time.
01:20So as we head through the morning you'll see some brighter skies emerge from the west as that fog lifts.
01:26So for the west country not a bad morning, a fine afternoon as well.
01:30The west midlands, central southern England, the cloud eroding across northern counties but still a little bit of showery rain continues across the eastern strip of England.
01:38And in fact through the afternoon once the sun gets to work we will see some showers breaking out.
01:43Eastern, northeastern parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland seeing some as well as much of central and eastern areas of England, even mid Wales.
01:51They'll be slow moving so if you catch one it could turn out to be heavy.
01:55Highest temperatures then down towards the southwest, 23 degrees Celsius but feeling quite warmer if you are in some brighter weather.
02:01Fog again could be a problem on Thursday morning, slow to clear but it will be a fine day.
02:07That ridge hoping some sunshine across many areas before through Thursday into Friday.
02:13Thickening clouds and a stronger wind will bring with it the prospect of some outbreaks of rain to Northern Ireland as well as Scotland.
02:20A few showers breaking out ahead of it, some brighter weather for central and eastern areas of England.
02:25So here's your summary into the weekend.
02:27It's still a mixed bag, sunshine always at a premium, a fair amount of cloud and again always a chance of some showery rain.
02:34Stay tuned to the forecast and we'll keep you posted.
