00:00Hello, much of the country saw a fairly wet picture on Monday, so for most areas it's
00:05a better day as we head through the rest of Tuesday with lots more sunshine to come. Yes,
00:09there will be a few scattered showers across parts of England and Wales, but I think you'll
00:12be fairly unlucky to catch one. Most places will be dry, but there will be more cloud
00:16continuing to affect parts of Scotland and here a much greater risk of showers, particularly
00:21across south east Scotland, north east England, where here they could be heavy with the risk
00:25of some downpours and some thunderstorms as well. So definitely worth staying in touch
00:28with the forecast for that. Winds will be fairly light as well, so I think if you're
00:32in that sunshine it will feel pleasantly warm for most areas. Temperatures ranging from
00:3515 across the far north to the low 20s for Scotland and Northern Ireland, but 23 or 24
00:40degrees there towards the south east. So again, in that sunshine, feeling fairly warm. Now
00:45as we head through the rest of Tuesday into the evening and overnight, most places will
00:48end the day on a dry note with some late sunshine. Yes, there will still be a few showers across
00:52the far north east, but these tend to fade away as we head through the night. As we head
00:56through the early hours, more cloud continuing across parts of Scotland, but elsewhere clear
00:59skies will lead to one or two mist and fog patches and actually turning fairly cool in
01:03some rural spots as well. We could see temperatures dropping to single figures, but for most towns
01:07and cities temperatures holding up 10 to 13 degrees Celsius. So under those clear skies
01:12we get off to a fairly bright start on Wednesday morning, particularly across England, Wales,
01:16Northern Ireland and actually for most places it will stay fine and dry throughout the day.
01:19Again, we can't rule out the odd isolated showers, but you will be fairly unlucky to
01:23catch one. More cloud though, continuing across parts of Scotland, north east England
01:27and here's a greater risk of a shower, but I don't think they'll be quite as intense
01:31as they will be on Tuesday. Again, winds will stay light and so in that sunshine it will
01:36feel warm. Temperatures ranging from 14 in the far north to 24, 25 degrees there towards
01:41the south east and again in light winds it will feel fairly summery I think. Through
01:46the rest of Wednesday into the evening and overnight, most places will stay dry. Again,
01:49one or two isolated showers will tend to fade away and under those clear skies turning
01:53fairly cool in some rural spots with one or two mist and fog patches once again. But
01:57we will see temperatures rising as we head towards the end of the working week, particularly
02:01into Friday and so with that there's an increasing risk of heavy showers and thunderstorms. For
02:05more information you can always follow us on social media. I'll see you again soon.
