00:00Hello again. Another day with some pretty heavy showers around. But unlike the weekend,
00:06not everywhere will see the showers. Some places will stay dry and have some good spars
00:11of sunshine. But where the showers are occurring, they're heavy, they're thundery, and we do
00:16have Met Office yellow warnings in place and torrential downpours, likely the risk of pretty
00:23horrendous conditions on the roads and also the potential for some local flooding. Now,
00:28as I said, not everywhere is going to get the downpours. It's a real mishmash on the
00:32satellite and radar imagery. You can see a wet start across the southeast. That rain
00:36is scooting away, but we've already got showers for Northern Ireland, parts of southern and
00:41central Scotland in these areas in particular, some very heavy showers developing. And then
00:46later on across parts of the south, some big slow moving showers developing here. It's
00:52in between where some places won't see the showers at all. Parts of North Wales, northern
00:57England and parts of the Midlands staying largely dry and bright with some sunny spells
01:02and in the sunny spells, temperatures climbing into the low 20s, but generally still on the
01:07cool side for the time of year. Now, through the evening, a continued risk of some very
01:11heavy downpours, parts of South Wales, the Midlands and southern England. The heavy showers
01:16will continue over parts of eastern Scotland well into the evening as well. But generally
01:21overnight, it does become a little drier with clear spells, temperatures holding up mostly
01:26in the teens, certainly in towns and cities on to Tuesday. And it is, again, broadly speaking,
01:31sunshine and showers. But for many, it'll be a dry and a bright day. There won't be
01:36as many showers around. Initially, chiefly the showers will be over northwest England
01:40and parts of Wales and they'll move eastward. So by the afternoon, the showers mostly across
01:45eastern England and again eastern Scotland. But there won't be as many or as powerful
01:50as today's downpours and say for much of southern England by the afternoon, Wales and much of
01:56northern Ireland, most of the day will be dry and fine with spells of sunshine and light
02:00winds and temperatures a little bit higher than Monday's values, more widely getting
02:05into the low 20s, 23, maybe 24 Celsius, which will feel pretty warm, still cool across northern
02:09Scotland, temperatures only in the teens here. Still a few heavy showers then across the
02:14east through Tuesday evening. But for many, it'll be a fine, pleasant evening with sunny
02:19spells. There is a weather system just behind me starting to push in that will bring some
02:23wet weather across the west of Scotland and northern Ireland on Wednesday. But otherwise,
02:28actually, this week does look as if, say for a good part of England and Wales, it'll be
02:32a little drier and a little brighter. A full week ahead forecast will be available come
02:36Monday afternoon on our YouTube channel and also across social media.
