00:00Hello there, welcome to your weather update from the Met Office. Through

00:03Wednesday, some warm air as well as some hazy sunshine. Let's take a look at the

00:09detail. A little cloud just lapping along the shoreline of Aberdeenshire. More

00:13cloud building across Wales, the Midlands, up towards northwest England, the

00:16southern uplands and here we could see a sharp shower. But look at these

00:20temperatures rising very nicely through the afternoon, 17 to 20 degrees Celsius,

00:2414 or 15 along this east coast. Now through the evening and overnight we

00:29watch as this low cloud, that ha, just pushes up towards the Northern Isles,

00:33pushes in across Aberdeenshire, even the northeast coast of England. Elsewhere,

00:38always more in the way of cloud just coming and going and the breeze will

00:41pick up some strength as we head into the early hours of Thursday morning.

00:45However, it will be a cold night with a touch of frost, particularly across

00:49southern and central parts of Scotland, perhaps even northern England across

00:53Pennine districts. So that leads into a fine start to Thursday, albeit rather

00:57chilly in places. Now through the day, yes again we'll see that low cloud just

01:01shrouding the coastline of the east of Scotland. Hazy sunshine towards the west

01:06there, but most places will be dry. The cloud could build through the afternoon,

01:10making the sunshine rather hazy through the afternoon, but we will see the wind

01:14pick up. This is the key feature of the weather as we head into the afternoon. So

01:17a significant breeze coming in from a Cornwall Sea, allowing temperatures to

01:21struggle on this east side, warmer towards the west, 16 to 18, 19 will be

01:26your high. And here's your bigger picture for the next few days. High

01:31pressure towards the north, low pressure further south across Siberia as well as

01:34France. A squeeze on the isobars, dragging in some cooler air and even the

01:38chance of some showers across more southern areas through Friday and into

01:42Saturday. All in all though, many areas remaining dry. I'll be back later. Bye.
