00:10On today's show...
00:22Everything was going well and then you got text messages from another woman.
00:26We got a phone call about he was telling her to leave him alone.
00:29And she was like, you weren't saying that three days ago when you were sleeping with me.
00:36He said that she tried to touch his down below.
00:38So you find this out and then he asks you to get married?
00:41Mm-hmm.
00:43So you tell me, in your own words, exactly what happened.
00:46Do you want a demonstration?
00:52While she was in prison, your partner Sarah, what happened?
00:55She had a one-night stand.
00:57How many?
00:58Two.
01:02What colour's the child?
01:04Olive skin, basically white, but people keep saying, oh, she's black.
01:10Your sister says...
01:11Ready for this?
01:12I am 70% sure that Tucker, my ex, is the father to my sister's baby.
01:25CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
01:41Ladies and gentlemen, good morning and a big, big welcome to the show.
01:43Now, my first guest today, Carys, is here, desperate to discover
01:46if her new fiancé, Carl, has cheated.
01:48Now, just three days ago, this lady discovered messages from another woman
01:51saying she'd slept with Carl, and the following day...
01:54Do you know what this bloke does?
01:55He goes down on one knee and he says, I want to marry you.
01:59She says...
02:00I don't know why I'm doing this. Thank you.
02:02She says her world came crashing down when she discovered this
02:04and is adamant she will get the truth.
02:06She says, did he ask me to get married to cover his tracks?
02:09Big, big day.
02:10Carys is on the Carl Show that way.
02:12CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
02:21Oh, you're so scared, aren't you?
02:23It's all right.
02:24You've been with him a few months. How did you meet?
02:27For a friend.
02:28Nice.
02:30I do... You're so sweet.
02:32Where did... Ooh.
02:33I... Ooh.
02:34Everything was going well and then you got text messages from another woman.
02:38Yeah.
02:39What did they say?
02:40Well, it wasn't to me.
02:41He had my phone.
02:42Oh, God.
02:43Oh, God.
02:44And he left himself logged in on my Facebook.
02:46Don't really understand that, but anyway, they were messages from another woman.
02:48Yeah.
02:49Saying what?
02:50That... Just planning on meeting up.
02:52Did it make any accusations about him sleeping with her?
02:55Not at that time.
02:56Go on, tell me more.
02:58There was... We got a phone call and she was saying...
03:01Like, he was telling her to leave him alone
03:03and she was like, you weren't saying that three days ago
03:05when you were sleeping with me, basically.
03:07What has...
03:08AUDIENCE GASPS
03:09What has he admitted to?
03:11Kissing and groping.
03:13You were together when this happened?
03:15Yeah.
03:16So why would he do that if you're together?
03:18So he admits that he met this particular woman, he kissed her.
03:21What does the groping mean?
03:23He said that she tried to touch his down below.
03:27His down below his feet?
03:29His willy.
03:30His what?
03:31Willy.
03:32His winky?
03:33Yeah.
03:34She tried to grab his winky, Steve.
03:36Come on, winky, come on!
03:38He pushed her away.
03:40He pushed her away.
03:41Cos that, you know, bloke in a relationship,
03:44woman sticks her tongue down your throat and grabs your plonker,
03:46you go, go on, get out of the way.
03:48Yeah.
03:50Yeah.
03:51The audience have decided he's guilty.
03:53So you find this out, he admits this,
03:56and then he asks you to get married.
03:58Mm-hm.
03:59I mean, in your mind, I know, in your mind, the first thing is what?
04:03You're definitely guilty.
04:05Yeah, guilt conscience.
04:06Did you say yes?
04:07Yeah.
04:08Where's the ring?
04:09£22.
04:12It's nice, it's nice, isn't it?
04:14Are you happy?
04:15Yeah.
04:16Well, I'm not happy.
04:17You're not happy, you're on The Jeremy Carr Show.
04:19Yes.
04:20So you reckon whether she says more,
04:22and he's covering his tracks by asking you to marry him.
04:24You admit that you love this guy, but you want the truth.
04:26Yeah.
04:27You hope he passes so we can plan a future,
04:29but this woman, there is a part of you that thinks
04:31that maybe she's just stirring it because she knows that you two are happy.
04:34Yeah.
04:35If he passes, everything's good,
04:36but are you going to be one of those people that goes,
04:38if he cheats, I'm going off?
04:40No, I mean it.
04:41Do you?
04:42Yeah, if he cheats, I'm gone.
04:43Are you?
04:44Mm-hm.
04:45Even if he's kissed her?
04:46Honestly, I meant, like, more, because he told me that.
04:48He told me that.
04:49So if they've had sex?
04:50Yeah.
04:51Carl's on The Jeremy Carr Show that way.
04:53Good luck.
05:01Come on, hurry up.
05:02I'm a busy man, what's that all about?
05:04It's the slowest walk ever.
05:05I'm walking the plank.
05:08Are you surprised by that reaction?
05:10Mm, yeah.
05:11You all right?
05:12Yeah, I'm fine, how are you?
05:13Right, so you're with this girl, this Carys girl,
05:15you're in love with her,
05:16and this other person who you used to know,
05:19out of the blue, comes up to you.
05:21Why were you with her, just out of interest?
05:23She basically texted me because she split up with her partner.
05:26And you thought, I'll go round as a friend.
05:28Basically, I was going to be her friend forever,
05:30so be nice, chat to her, see what's going on.
05:33Did you tell Carys she would go and see her?
05:35No.
05:36No.
05:39I was generally going to there to have a conversation.
05:42You were being nice?
05:44Basically, yeah.
05:45So you're telling me that nothing else happened,
05:47you pushed her away and then you went home and told Carys straight away?
05:51Not straight away, but...
05:52So you tell me, in your own words, exactly what happened?
05:55Basically...
05:56Oh, good.
05:57Do you want a demonstration?
06:02Erm, sorry, which part am I playing?
06:05The female.
06:06Amy, producer of the show, could you come here, please?
06:08I'm certainly not playing a bird. Amy, come here.
06:14Excuse me.
06:17Tell you what, ladies and gentlemen, my assistant,
06:19you're going to play the part of the woman.
06:22This is your show, you want it to go well, play the part,
06:26it's always on me, now for you to do something
06:28other than stand there and criticise.
06:30You might not have to grab... It's OK, baby.
06:34Could I just point out, you don't have to grab his winky.
06:38Go on, then, demonstrate.
06:40Basically, I was walking down and then...
06:42Walk with him, Ames.
06:43And, of course, she literally put her hand over my private areas.
06:47Yes.
06:48And then I said,
06:50listen, stop, I've got a missus, you know that.
06:55No, no, no, just sit down a minute, do it to me,
06:57this is what he says happens, just do it, right, go on.
07:00Yeah, yeah.
07:01Go on.
07:02No, no, no.
07:03For goodness sake, stop it, I've got a missus,
07:05what are you talking about?
07:07Romance is not dead.
07:10No.
07:11No.
07:15How many people in this audience think he did more than he admitted to?
07:18Put your hands in the air.
07:20Charis, on a serious note, let's bring it back.
07:22Tell him what this means to you.
07:24Tell him how you feel, sweetheart.
07:26It means everything.
07:27Literally everything.
07:28If you pass this, then we can move forward, but if you don't...
07:31I will pass this.
07:32You've lost me for good.
07:33100%.
07:34Why did you propose to her three days after this,
07:36just out of interest?
07:37Because I genuinely love this girl.
07:39She's my world, she's my princess.
07:43I want to settle down with Charis, I want to have her babies,
07:46she's my princess, I will pass this lie detector.
07:48Let's see if there's as important results as ever.
07:50The questions that were asked...
07:52You lot are right up for this one.
07:57Note from the lie detector examiner.
08:01Honestly, I'm going to give up speaking on this show.
08:04Karl admitted to kissing another woman on several occasions,
08:07he doesn't know how many occasions, did you know about that?
08:10No, I didn't.
08:12And having sexual contact with her on two occasions
08:14when she touched his clothing.
08:16He says she knows about that, so two occasions she touched your willy.
08:19Yeah, and she knows about this.
08:21Did you know it was twice?
08:22No, I didn't know it was twice.
08:23There's a lot of walking going on.
08:25Why would she do it twice if the first time you said to her,
08:28don't do it, I've got a girlfriend?
08:30Explain that.
08:31Because she's obsessed with me.
08:33Right, well, why would you spend time with somebody
08:36when you've got a girlfriend?
08:38Because she's a friend.
08:40The way I see it, she's a friend and that's it.
08:44She wanted more, I said no, that's it.
08:46So you admitted to kissing another woman on several occasions,
08:49so you kissed her more than once?
08:50No, just once.
08:51So somebody else?
08:52No, no, no, it's just...
08:54Karl admitted to kissing another woman on several occasions.
08:57It's not even that.
08:58You said that, didn't you?
09:00Basically, what happens, she kissed me.
09:03Yeah, how many times?
09:04How many times?
09:05Once.
09:06Then why didn't you say to the lie detector you,
09:08I've admitted to kissing another woman on several occasions?
09:11It's just the same person.
09:13He's dodgier than a dodgy thing from dodgy land.
09:15Talk to him.
09:17He never told me that.
09:18So who else is it?
09:19No-one.
09:20Well, there's obviously someone else.
09:21Since the start of your relationship with Carys,
09:23apart from what you've just admitted to,
09:25have you passionately kissed anyone else?
09:26Karl said no.
09:27Why did you say no?
09:28Because I was telling the truth.
09:29Really? Tess says you're a liar, Karl.
09:32Since the start of the relationship with Karl,
09:33apart from what you've admitted to,
09:34have you had sexual contact with anyone else?
09:36You said no. Why did you say no?
09:37Because I was telling the truth.
09:38Tess says you're a liar on that question.
09:40In fact, you won't be happy to know,
09:41he failed all three questions, including sexual intercourse,
09:44and if it was me, darling, I'd run for the bloody hills,
09:46cos he's a complete...
09:47How?
09:48Tess, you're a liar, that's how!
09:49No.
09:50What are you looking confused for?
09:51Because I've never had sex with any...
09:53this girl.
09:54With that...
09:55Which girl have you had sex with, then?
09:57None.
09:58Why have you failed the test, then?
10:01Why have you failed the test?
10:03She's going to forgive you anyway, look at her face.
10:05No, I'm not.
10:06How come you've failed?
10:10Who are you?
10:12I'm her mate.
10:13So you're not surprised?
10:15No, I knew exactly that he's been going to someone else's house,
10:18chatting up this bird all over Facebook carriers.
10:20What's your name?
10:21Bethany.
10:22Come on, be honest, mate, tell her the truth.
10:24I am being honest.
10:25No, you're not.
10:26That's why you asked her to marry you, didn't you?
10:27No.
10:28You were trying to get out, don't, for God's sake!
10:29I love this girl with all my heart.
10:31Well, then why don't you keep having it off with other people, then?
10:40I've never known anybody react like that.
10:44Some people are different to some people.
10:46You're a liar, mate.
10:47It's written all over your face.
10:48This audience knew it the first time you walked out.
10:50What's in your head right now?
10:54Who?
10:55Who?
10:56Who is it?
10:57No-one.
10:58The only person I've actually kissed is you.
11:01And, to be honest, you're...
11:03She touched me and that's it.
11:05OK, just lie.
11:06Why don't you just accept that this woman loves you
11:08and, actually, if you told the truth,
11:10you might actually get yourself into a situation that's better than...
11:12I am telling the truth, though.
11:13No, you're not, you're lying, mate.
11:14No, I'm not.
11:15Really? OK.
11:16So, you know, when this goes out on television,
11:18there'll be a thing rolling across the bottom which says a strap
11:20and it'll say, a week ago, two days ago, three hours after the show,
11:23Karl admitted that he'd cheated on Carys.
11:25So you might as well just do it now,
11:27because you already look like a bit of an idiot, to be honest.
11:29No, I'm not lying, though, that's the thing.
11:31But you've just failed the lie detector.
11:35That would make you a liar, wouldn't it?
11:37It's just a stupid thing.
11:38What happened? More happened.
11:40A woman who apparently you knew walks down the street,
11:43you're trying to be her friend, and tries to grab your bits.
11:46You go, ooh, don't do that, I've got a missus.
11:48The next day, strangely enough, in a different road,
11:50somewhere in the same town,
11:52a woman who's already been told you've got a missus
11:54is walking down the road with you and tries to touch you again
11:56and you go, ooh, no, I've got a missus.
11:58And we're all supposed to believe that's cock and bull, isn't it?
12:00I am telling the truth.
12:01You're going to lose it, you idiot, unless you front it out.
12:04I'm telling the truth.
12:05Oh, Carys, darling, what are you going to do?
12:07You're going to stay with him, aren't you?
12:08You are worth a million of that, mate.
12:10I'd run for the hills with you, mate, seriously.
12:12Seriously, I really would.
12:13How are you doing?
12:14How are you doing?
12:15How are you?
12:19I can't believe you cheat, I deserve better than that.
12:21I'm not cheating on you, that's the thing.
12:23OK, cos that's lying, yeah?
12:24Give this ring back.
12:26No, keep it, sell it.
12:29Seriously, run for the hills, love.
12:31Are you off?
12:32Yeah.
12:33That's it, then, she's leaving you.
12:42Pretty solid start to my morning DMA.
12:44Next time you go anywhere, we're right back.
12:46Your sister says...
12:47Ready for this?
12:48I am 70% sure that Tucker, my ex, is the father to my sister's baby.
13:19It's 1-2-3-4-5-6.
13:21Calls cost 25 pence plus your network access charge.
13:24Or email...
13:26..to get in touch with one of my team.
13:37Welcome back.
13:38My next guest today, Phil, is here for crucial DNA results
13:40on partner Sarah's eight-month-old baby.
13:42Now, Phil says that during a brief stint in prison,
13:44he discovered that Sarah had a one-night stand
13:46around the time she conceived,
13:48and he's always known there's a chance he might not be the dad.
13:50This is one detailed story and a big day for this guy.
13:52Phil is on The Jeremy Kyle Show, that way.
14:02Welcome to the show.
14:03You are still with this woman?
14:05Yeah.
14:06So this is massive today.
14:07But there are some holes in this story,
14:09and I have to say, when I read this this morning,
14:11there seems to be a different approach from you than her.
14:13But, first of all, how do you meet?
14:16We was actually pushed together.
14:18I was living at a friend's house.
14:20I obviously moved out of my mum's,
14:22been sort of on and off, living at my mum's for the past...
14:25You're living with Sarah now?
14:26Yeah, I was...
14:27So you went to prison. What did you go to prison for?
14:30Two counts of battery and a possession of a bladed article,
14:32being stupid.
14:33Bladed article, a knife?
14:35Yeah.
14:36Why would a woman stay with a man who thinks it's all right
14:38to brandish a knife?
14:39It's pretty low, isn't it?
14:40Yeah, well, I still have the same feeling.
14:42Why do you have a knife? What were you doing with it?
14:44Were you threatening people?
14:45No, I was actually just walking around the street,
14:47well, in a car park with it.
14:49Why would she walk around a car park with a knife?
14:51Just being stupid, just, like, obviously not thinking,
14:54just, like, in that, well, mental state of mind,
14:56just, like, thinking...
14:58I'm a criminal.
14:59Yeah, but just being, yeah, basically being an idiot.
15:01How long did you go to prison for?
15:03Four weeks.
15:04Did it teach you anything?
15:05Yeah.
15:06Whilst you were in prison, your partner Sarah, what happened?
15:08What do you know to be the truth?
15:11Obviously, back then, like, she was a bit of a party animal.
15:14Her boyfriend was in prison for having a bladed article
15:17in brackets and knife, close brackets, go on, carry on.
15:19Yeah, she was a party animal, she was drinking,
15:21like, the drug scene, alcohol.
15:23Obviously, me being in prison, like, being an idiot.
15:26So what happened?
15:28She had a one-night stand.
15:30How many?
15:31Two.
15:35Two different men or the same man twice?
15:37Two different men.
15:41Very close together?
15:43As far as I know, she didn't exactly tell me the second one.
15:46The first one I knew.
15:47The second one sort of got let slip by friends of hers.
15:51How soon after you came out of prison
15:53and rekindled your relationship with Sarah
15:55did she tell you the truth?
15:57When she found out she was pregnant.
16:00Now, here's the thing.
16:02One has to tread very carefully.
16:04So there are three potential fathers.
16:06You?
16:07Well, no, you were in prison. Well, maybe before.
16:09And two other men, yes?
16:11Yeah.
16:12Now, it's hard for you to form a bond with the baby
16:15because it could be somebody else's.
16:17And then there were lots of rumours
16:20that the baby might be black.
16:22That's a lot of the things people have been saying.
16:26So one of the potential men, fathers, was black.
16:29Yeah.
16:30One was white and one was in prison.
16:32Well, me being in prison, then obviously I was on the other...
16:35What colour's the child?
16:36Olive skin, basically white,
16:38but people keep saying, oh, she's black.
16:40It's probably just people winding Sarah up, getting her red.
16:44So people are saying that the child is mixed race.
16:46What do you think when you look at the child?
16:48Do you think she's white, black?
16:49I think she's white.
16:50Do you? Do you think she's yours?
16:5250-50.
16:54Not 33-33-33?
16:57No, 50-50, whether she's mine or not.
16:59Why?
17:00Because there's two white and one black.
17:02I'm completely confused.
17:04Sarah and I were forced to be together because of the baby.
17:07What does that mean?
17:09Do you love this girl?
17:11Deep down, I do, yeah.
17:14What's the problem, then?
17:16What's the problem? Talk to me.
17:18Problem is, people are interfering.
17:20You're scared you're going to find out the kid's not yours, aren't you?
17:23What does this child mean to you?
17:25What does this child mean to you?
17:27A lot.
17:29Do you think if the child wasn't yours,
17:31it would destroy your relationship with Sarah?
17:34But it would be hard.
17:35I mean, you made the point... Cheers, Will, thanks.
17:37You made the point that bringing up somebody else's child
17:40is easier said than done.
17:42Yeah?
17:43If the child is yours and all those rumours are untrue,
17:47do you think this would sort everything out?
17:51I hope it would.
17:52If other people actually stayed out of the relationship,
17:56it should be between me and Sarah.
17:58It shouldn't be sort of...
17:59Do you regret having those two one-night stands?
18:03Yeah.
18:04How old's the baby now?
18:05Nearly nine months.
18:06Why have we waited nearly nine months, then?
18:11To be honest, I think it's more of...
18:13Better to sweep it under the carpet, right?
18:15Well, hoping that...
18:17Do you know your biggest problem?
18:19Your biggest problem is not what you're about to find out,
18:22and I don't know the results.
18:23Your biggest problem is that you're consumed with guilt
18:25and that terrible feeling in your heart that if you hadn't gone to prison,
18:28she wouldn't have had sex with anybody else, would she?
18:30True.
18:31Maybe that's the lesson not to break the law,
18:33but maybe it's too much of a lesson.
18:35I'm hoping you get the news that you want.
18:37Have you changed your life?
18:38Yeah.
18:39Good man.
18:40I've actually since been in prison, I've come out of prison,
18:43I've done my community service.
18:45Got a job?
18:46I did have a job.
18:48So you want this baby to be yours?
18:50I really would love her to be mine, yeah.
18:52Right, let's get her out, then.
18:53Sarah's on the Jeremy Cowell Show.
18:54That way, give her a round of applause.
19:02Welcome to the show.
19:04So you're going to tell me that when the man that you love
19:07is in prison for carrying a knife, you felt lonely and miserable
19:10and you'd had a couple of drinks and a couple of men came on to you.
19:13No, we wasn't together at the time.
19:15You weren't together when he was in prison?
19:16No.
19:17You didn't tell me that. You said you were together.
19:19I thought we was, but obviously she couldn't contact me.
19:24Right. Now, I'm just going to... Listen to this.
19:27Who the hell is Leah?
19:29My sister.
19:30And who's Tucker?
19:31Her ex-boyfriend.
19:33Now, your sister says in a statement...
19:37Ready for this?
19:39..I am 70% sure that Tucker, my ex,
19:44is the father to my sister's baby.
19:47Oh!
19:50Tucker has told me that he's had sex with my sister.
19:53The fact Tucker hadn't come to the programme to do a DNA
19:56makes me think it's even him more.
19:58I would be happy for Phil to be the dad, but I know he's not.
20:01She looks nothing like him.
20:02The baby's mixed race and Phil is white.
20:04What colour's Tucker?
20:06Tucker is Asian.
20:09To be honest, there could be even... What?
20:12To be honest, you're her own sister.
20:14There could be even more than two potential dads.
20:16Until I know that Tucker isn't the dad to Sarah's baby,
20:18I can't have a relationship with my damn sister.
20:20Did you have sex with your sister's ex-boyfriend?
20:23No.
20:25Is this child Asian, black, white? I'm completely confused.
20:28What's going on?
20:30Well, she's definitely an Asian.
20:32Can we have... Have I got baby B, Ro?
20:36Hello. Can I see?
20:38AUDIENCE GROANS
20:47Um, Tucker?
20:49Uh, Tucker says it's complete rubbish that I may be the dad.
20:55For some reason, my ex-partner Leah is paranoid and convinced
20:57I've slept with Sarah, that I'm the father.
20:59I never had sex with Sarah. I never even looked at her in that way.
21:01The baby doesn't even look like me at all.
21:03However, I don't believe Phil is the father either.
21:05She looks nothing like him.
21:06So I have no idea who the father to the baby might be.
21:10How many potential fathers? Let's be honest now.
21:13There's obviously Phil. Yeah, that's him.
21:15And then there's... Tucker? No.
21:17The gentleman who's black?
21:19Yeah, and then there's another white lad that used to live near us.
21:23Tell her how much you love her. Tell her what this means. Talk to her.
21:26You know how much this means to me.
21:28That's why I'm here today, to get it sorted.
21:30Obviously, your friends let it slip.
21:34I had my suspicions when...
21:37Obviously, we can't name people,
21:39but the two people that were helping us
21:41were dropping hints about the other potential father.
21:44But then I had doubts then about what really hit on the head.
21:47Who do you think the father is, darling? Let's cut to the chase.
21:49You had sex with three men.
21:50How much time was there apart, by the way, between?
21:53I can't remember exactly, but there wasn't a lot of time apart.
21:56This is massively important to you, isn't it?
21:58Do you think the relationship could survive if Phil's not the father?
22:01I hope so.
22:02And what if he is? What would that mean to you both?
22:04It would mean the world. What?
22:06It means the world. We can get on. The DNA test results show that Phil...
22:10Everybody made comments to you.
22:12Everybody said that the child is not yours.
22:14But you, in your heart of hearts, were always 50-50.
22:17Sorry, pal, you're not the biological father.
22:23You knew that, though, didn't you?
22:25I was 50-50. Look at that child.
22:29Devastating for him.
22:48Can we go to a break, back in a minute?
22:50Did you sleep with Tucker? No.
22:52You sure about that? 100%.
23:01It stops now. Today it ends, right?
23:04Hold on.
23:05I'm not talking to you!
23:11Are you having problems with your ex,
23:13or are they interfering with your relationship?

23:29Calls cost 25p, plus your network access charge.
23:32Or email TALK at itv.com to get in touch with one of my team.
23:46Welcome back before the break.
23:48Phil and Sarah, devastating news for Phil,
23:50not the biological father to her baby.
23:54I'm not going to say,
23:55how are you feeling? That's devastating news.
23:57You must have known. Come on, be honest, help me out.
24:00Three men in a matter of days?
24:03I was always honest. I told him from the start.
24:06I even went to the prison and told him.
24:10This is your worst fear?
24:12Where do you go from here?
24:15Well, I've been there from the start.
24:17Like, she might not be my child.
24:19She loves you to pieces.
24:21You're saying that cos you want to be in a relationship with him
24:23cos the other two don't want to know.
24:24No, she doesn't love him to pieces.
24:25Did you sleep with Tucker? No.
24:26You sure about that? 100%.
24:27Why would your sister say? Well, she did say...
24:29I was the one that phoned the show
24:31to get them to come here to prove that.
24:34But I always knew...
24:35Plenty of people have kids and don't hang around.
24:40You have to work out whether you can be with a woman
24:42and love a child that isn't yours.
24:43And she's right, you know.
24:44If the child loves you and that...
24:46the relationship's OK, then that's a different kettle of fish.
24:49But a lot of people say they can and then they can't.
24:53I can't walk away from it now.
24:54She called me Dad, everything.
24:56I've bonded with that child...
24:58from the day she was born.
25:01Tell you one thing about this man, shall I?
25:03Definitely changed his life, definitely made mistakes,
25:05probably lived to regret it forever more.
25:08Do you want to be with him?
25:09Of course I do.
25:14Sorry, but the truth, although sometimes not what we want to hear,
25:16is always best to deal with, OK?
25:19You're going to make your best to make it work.
25:20We'll help you out as well, I promise you, all right?
25:22The aftercare team, yeah?
25:23Thanks for coming on.
25:24Give them a round of applause, they're going that way.
25:31Good afternoon, everyone.
25:32My next guest today, Joan, is a mother at the end of her tether.
25:34She's sick of her daughter Becca and her partner Robert's endless drama
25:37and says today enough is enough.
25:39Joan admits she knows her daughter has cheated on Robert many times
25:42but says he needs to forgive and forget
25:44as her daughter is now pregnant with their first child.
25:46Joan says that Robert throws this in her daughter's face
25:48during every argument and says this is pushing Becca away from Robert.
25:52She says today she wants them both to put the past behind them
25:54and focus on the unborn child.
25:56Wise words.
25:57Joan's on The Jeremy Carle Show that way.
26:05I want him, I don't want him.
26:07Neither can him, Steve.
26:13It stops now.
26:15Today it ends, right?
26:17Hold on.
26:18I'm not talking to you.
26:20You need to.
26:21At the risk of you thinking I'm being a bit unfair
26:24and at the risk of you not liking me,
26:26we're talking about your daughter who's had it off with six boys
26:31and she is the reason their relationship's in the cards.
26:35So why don't you, as a mother, get over there and teach her
26:38and stop jumping into her head?
26:41But that's the reason...
26:44That's the reason there's trouble, darling,
26:46because she can't keep out of other men.
26:48Be honest.
26:49Excuse me, I only break when she's done that.
26:51She's slept with...
26:52She's done him once.
26:53Right, I'll do this myself.
26:55Come with me.
26:56Come on.
26:59I'll prove this to you.
27:01Come with me.
27:02Come with me.
27:03I'll prove this to you because your daughter's a liar
27:05and you are now going to eat humble pie.
27:08Really?
27:09We're sorting this today and we can, if you're honest,
27:12cos she's just quite nicely and rightly defended you.
27:15How many people did you cheat on him with?
27:17I only cheated on him with one.
27:20I'm being serious.
27:21I cheated on him with one person and when we were on a break,
27:24I did sleep with people.
27:25How many?
27:26Yes, I did sleep with six people.
27:28Right?
27:30Yes, but they were on a break, it's completely...
27:32But you're over there having a go at him...
27:34Because I want him to stop picking on my daughter.
27:38Darling, there's eight people, I get it,
27:41but she's eight in the space of them being apart.
27:44She's had sex with six, sexual contact, eight men.
27:48And I would have thought that you should have been trying
27:50to make sure she behaves differently.
27:52I'm not sticking up for him, I'm saying...
27:54I only knew about the cheating on one.
27:57How old are you?
27:5818.
27:59I only knew about the cheating on one.
28:01I'm a parent like you, what do you make of that?
28:03What do you make of that as a mum?
28:05I'm disgusted that you cheated on him.
28:07That's why I was trying to help you.
28:09I'll sort him, right, and we'll do it, but she's not innocent.
28:12Come with me, come on, because you said to me,
28:14you said to my team, give her a round of applause,
28:17the thing about these, these are kids having kids, right,
28:20and I absolutely get that, yeah?
28:23I'm completely on your side.
28:24You go there.
28:26How far gone is she?
28:28She's nearly 17 weeks.
28:31You say that she's admitted everything
28:34and he is not able to forget it and uses it
28:37to beat her over the head verbally.
28:39Every time you argue, he throws it in her face,
28:42and it's breaking her and I'm sick of it,
28:44it's me who's got to pick up the pieces.
28:46That I totally get, that I get as a mother, right?
28:48But I need you to know the truth, because for me, 18 years of age,
28:52eight men in a four-week period, they're not together,
28:54it's disgusting.
28:55And I didn't know about that.
28:56I only knew about that cheating on him.
29:00There was a brother out there.
29:02I don't even know him.
29:03Yeah, but it's quite interesting, he sort of agrees,
29:05this is what's really interesting about the story,
29:07he agrees with you, he says they are not good for each other,
29:09they argue every single day, it's pathetic.
29:11Is it in your house?
29:12It's in my house, it's in his house, it's unbelievable,
29:15it's just hot.
29:17She comes downstairs after an argument and she's bringing a hot
29:20and then she goes back upstairs because he's texted her
29:22and told her to come back upstairs.
29:24People don't even walk downstairs anymore, they text each other.
29:27Can I try something different, can I bring out his brother Michael,
29:29because you two are singing off the same...
29:30But I don't even know him.
29:31Let's get him out, Michael's on the Jeremy Kyle show that way.
29:40You and she shouldn't, you can sit there,
29:42you and she shouldn't be at each other's throats,
29:44she completely agrees, and I get where this woman's coming from,
29:46but we needed it all out there.
29:48If your girlfriend cheats and you say you forgive her,
29:50don't then spend the rest of your life beating her over there with it,
29:52why don't you just leave her?
29:54Well...
29:55Answer that!
29:56She's had the opportunity all the time, but...
29:59What opportunity?
30:00If my brother's that bad, then why is she still with him?
30:04Because they're both young and dumb and they're in love with each other,
30:07you know that.
30:08My daughter's pregnant to your brother, right?
30:11Yeah.
30:12And she wants to work this through,
30:14but she can't work it through if he's going to throw it in her face.
30:17But in fairness to Robert, is he the father of the baby?
30:19Yes, he is.
30:20How do we know that?
30:21Well, because she only felt pregnant when they got back together.
30:25And her argument is, which is interesting,
30:27he says he could handle it, stop throwing it back,
30:30he's going to tell you, and he's certainly going to tell you,
30:33I am back with her, and she's pregnant, but I can't get over it.
30:37Let's get Robert out. Give him a round of applause.
30:39APPLAUSE
30:47Why are you telling us to get over something like that?
30:50Because, Robert...
30:51It's not something you can get over, is it?
30:54Why are you swearing?
30:56Did I swear at you? Have I swore at you?
30:58Excuse me?
31:00For you to swear across the stage?
31:02Excuse me, am I...? Do I have to be swore at?
31:05Do I need you to swear at me?
31:07Do you want to go over and inquire about it?
31:09Yes, because that is my daughter, and my daughter...
31:11This is my brother. He is the daughter.
31:13I don't even know you.
31:14You don't know her?
31:15You don't know yourself.
31:16There you go, then.
31:17Right.
31:18Excuse me, I don't know you, right?
31:20Yeah.
31:21But you aren't in my house when I get a phone call,
31:24and I've got to go over to pick my daughter up
31:27and bring her home because she has...
31:29Yeah, but you're not there when I've got to pick up the pieces
31:31when he's in here.
31:33He's causing the pig an argument, you idiot!
31:35Do you know how much I was causing an argument
31:37and you're not there?
31:38You've just said to Michael that he doesn't know anything about it
31:40because he's never there.
31:41If you swear once more, I swear I'll wash your mouth out.
31:43Go on.
31:44APPLAUSE
31:46I'm getting anything else, and there's no need...
31:49Will you stop swearing? There is no need to swear.
31:52Don't talk to him like that.
31:54What?
31:55He needs to be spoken to like that because he is nasty to Rebecca.
31:59He has worked hours on end.
32:01Can I throw something in the mix which is going to go down like a lead balloon?
32:04He might not be the dad.
32:06And how can he not be the dad?
32:08Bit of a track record, your daughter, isn't she?
32:10No, I'm not.
32:11Excuse me?
32:12How do you know you're the dad?
32:13Because...
32:14All the dates work out to be when she was with him.
32:17But you didn't know she'd had it off with six other men.
32:19How long were you apart for?
32:20About three months, I think.
32:22All right.
32:23Right.
32:24She did quite a lot, didn't she?
32:26But she was with him when she got pregnant.
32:28I'm not sticking up for Robert.
32:30Did she tell you straight away all these men she'd slept with?
32:32She did tell me straight away when she cheated on me.
32:35Didn't she tell them everything?
32:36Well, then her argument is, man up.
32:38If you can't handle it, leave her.
32:39But how can you man up with someone...
32:41Because if you can't handle it, don't abuse her.
32:43Go and do something else with your life
32:45because there's too much water under the bridge.
32:47Let's get Becca on the Jeremy Carr Show as well.
32:49Give her a...
32:50APPLAUSE
32:56Oh, there we go.
32:57Listen, I don't want you to think that I'm in any way
32:59or any shape and form horrible, but you had sex with eight men, love.
33:02Yeah, I know I did.
33:03You're the reason there's a problem here, aren't you, really, to be fair?
33:05I told him about it, yeah, I hold my hands up to it.
33:08Is he the father?
33:09Yeah, he is the father.
33:11Why do you argue the whole time, people?
33:13Because he can't get over it.
33:15Then leave her.
33:16I don't want to leave her.
33:17Well, then get over it.
33:18I can't get over it.
33:19You weren't together. Grow up, bang your heads together.
33:21Your mother's had enough and your brother's had enough.
33:23What's the matter with you? You're kids.
33:25Kids having bleeding kids, isn't it?
33:27That's the truth and the reality, isn't it?
33:29I'm trying my best to keep this relationship...
33:31What did you say?
33:32I'm trying my best to keep this relationship intact.
33:34Are you working?
33:35Yes.
33:36Good.
33:37Two jobs.
33:38That knocked me off my feet, but...
33:39Oh, yeah.
33:40I've just got the soap.
33:41I'm going to get the water in case you swear again.
33:43Just so you're ready.
33:45Have the water.
33:46APPLAUSE
33:50Thanks.
33:51See, back to the story.
33:53I get it. I absolutely get it.
33:55But you have a choice, don't you?
33:57Do you stay with her because she's pregnant?
34:00I want to stay with her because I love her.
34:02I love her a bit. She's everything.
34:05But you're saying you can't get over it.
34:07How do I treat her like you do?
34:10I'll tell you what, let's do this differently.
34:12Bruv, go there, you go there, you go there, you go there.
34:15Let's do this, because everybody else has got involved, haven't they?
34:18No.
34:20AUDIENCE GROANS
34:22APPLAUSE
34:28Right, now I'm going to tell you your life story,
34:30because this is the reality. Sit down.
34:34You're young.
34:36The world's a hard place.
34:38That makes it difficult, there's pressure,
34:41but those people that love you, your families,
34:43are of course going to take your sides
34:45and they're going to hear you and see you upset
34:48and they're going to want to defend you.
34:50It's very, very intense as a relationship.
34:52A lot has happened in a short space of time
34:55and, you know, you're both incredibly young.
34:59It's easy for us to sit here, isn't it, Rob,
35:01and go, you can't handle it? Do one.
35:03But that's the reality.
35:04If it's going to destroy everything you've got,
35:06then you have to...you have to leave.
35:08I don't want to leave.
35:09That's why I'm here, cos I don't want to leave.
35:11Tell her how it made you feel when you found out
35:13that despite the fact you're on a break, she did what she did.
35:15You tell her without anybody else speaking.
35:17It absolutely tore us apart.
35:26I can't...I can't understand
35:28why everything we've done and everything that's happened
35:31and we've been through...
35:33I don't understand how you can come to that.
35:36She says,
35:37I slept with multiple men to mask the pain.
35:40I was hurting so much when we broke up.
35:42I don't know whether I wanted revenge
35:44or whether I was just wanting to feel better about myself.
35:47That I completely understand.
35:49What did I do so bad?
35:51You weren't together, mate.
35:52You weren't together, it's nothing to do with you.
35:54Why do we judge, as men,
35:55what happens when we're not with somebody?
35:57She was having sex, that was it. There was no emotion.
35:59She was just getting her own back, trying to feel good about herself.
36:03Is that right?
36:04It is.
36:05Do you know what she said?
36:06I instantly regretted it every time.
36:09He doesn't pay us for that, though.
36:12He keeps calling us a liar.
36:14Why did you make her pregnant, then, if you couldn't trust her?
36:16Why would you make her pregnant if you can't be with her?
36:18Why would you make her pregnant if you can't get over it?
36:20Cos I don't want to be with her.
36:22Then deal with it. It's happened, it's a fact.
36:24That's why I'm here. I want to deal with it cos I'm here.
36:26Why are you shouting at me?
36:28Cos...
36:29There's nothing, Rob.
36:30I'm not having a go at you, but here's the reality.
36:32The bottom line is this.
36:33She's done it, and if you want to be together and bring up this baby,
36:37somewhere deep in your brain or your mind or somewhere,
36:39you're going to have to deal with this and draw a line and move on.
36:42If you don't, you're going to destroy each other.
36:44APPLAUSE
36:46And that's what she means, and I agree.
36:48You're going to just...
36:49To put it in the past and leave it in the past.
36:51If you can't put it in the past, go separately.
36:53I am trying. How am I not trying?
36:55Because you bring it up all the time.
36:57That I do agree with.
36:58You can't...
36:59I can't help it if it just comes up...
37:01Do not, then.
37:02She's carrying your baby, not theirs.
37:04I'm not saying that it's still hurting.
37:06Of course it does.
37:07When you were apart, did you have sex with anybody?
37:09I don't know anyone.
37:11Grow up and stop letting it hurt you as much as it is.
37:15She's right.
37:16Have you said sorry?
37:17Because at the end of the day, this is my daughter, my grandchild, right?
37:21She's right.
37:22And you are hurting both of them.
37:24You're right.
37:25And if you do not buck up, you need to...
37:27APPLAUSE
37:30You just said...
37:34She always disgusted her.
37:35Wash your mouth out with soap and water.
37:37She's right, listen...
37:38It needs to be me and Becca.
37:40So why isn't it you and Becca?
37:42So why are you...
37:43Can I make a suggestion?
37:45Can I make a suggestion?
37:46You won't like it.
37:47You look like a spoiled kid, but I'm going to tell you the truth.
37:49You live in her house, of course she's going to get involved.
37:51Get your own place, live together and get through it on your own.
37:53I'm just being honest, right?
37:55OK, I'm not having a go.
37:56This is the real world, people.
37:58You might be 18 or 19, but you've got a baby on the way.
38:00People get hurt, people lie, people cheat, people steal,
38:02people commit crime, right?
38:04Sometimes in life you have to go, do you know what?
38:07That's happened.
38:08I'm going to draw a line cos I love this woman or I love this bloke
38:10or whatever, that's it.
38:11Right, and I am trying, you've got to understand that,
38:13but what I don't understand is how do I treat Becca like...
38:16When I don't know, but shower her in everything I can.
38:20I don't know, but give her support with everything she...
38:22It's not about gifts.
38:23I'm always there for her.
38:24Let me finish.
38:25I haven't even finished talking to her.
38:27Why are you being rude?
38:28All I'm trying to say is, as many gifts you shower her with
38:32will not change the way you are.
38:35Right?
38:36You need to stop.
38:38If you do that in an argument, as soon as you argue, you bring it up.
38:43You need to stop.
38:44I'll tell you what, let's do something completely different.
38:46Stop arguing, OK? Stop arguing.
38:48Everybody stop saying.
38:49I'm going to do something.
38:50First of all, I'm going to give you some information.
38:52Secondly, I'm going to provide a counselling service
38:55for you two as a couple, OK?
38:57Where you can deal with this stuff with real help.
38:59We did a scan, didn't we?
39:01We did.
39:02On your baby.
39:03Was it a 4D scan?
39:05It was, 4D.
39:07And what is it that you think you're having?
39:09I don't know.
39:10I reckon it's a boy, though.
39:11Sort of.
39:12Yeah?
39:13AUDIENCE GROANS
39:15Graham, come here, give Graham a round of applause.
39:17APPLAUSE
39:20CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
39:25Now, here's the best bit,
39:26cos this is going to be the starting point.
39:28All boys in your family, yeah?
39:29Yes.
39:30Yeah, Graham?
39:31You're having a baby girl.
39:33CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
39:38I know, I know, more than you would know,
39:40but look, you can make this work, OK?
39:44Becca.
39:45And I get, you know, I get your joy from this,
39:48but you guys are going to have to mature pretty quickly, OK?
39:51Cos when that baby girl is born,
39:53you will be afforded the titles of parents.
39:55Your needs will have to go on hold at times,
39:58because this child will be the priority.
40:00We are going to work on that with you two, OK?
40:02Having a daughter, mate.
40:04And I'm just going to say one thing,
40:06which is why I wanted to do it.
40:08If your daughter in 18 years was hurting as she's hurting,
40:12or your son, he's right.
40:14Time to grow up, people.
40:15You created this life, time to grow up.
40:17Yes, together, yes, with your family's love.
40:19We're going to work with both of you, is that OK?
40:21Glad you came? Yeah. Good man.
40:23Four of you go that way. Thanks, Mum, nice to meet you.
40:25Thank you very much, thanks a lot.
40:30Good luck to them after the break.
40:32Three potential siblings desperate to discover
40:34if they share the same father.
40:36I've got triple DNA next, we're right back.
40:38I knew about Marcus when I was 18, but I never knew about Denise,
40:41so Denise was a complete surprise to me.
40:43The DNA test results show that Wendy, Denise and Marcus...
40:48..are twins.
40:54Do you need to find out who is the father of the baby?
40:57Do you need that all-important DNA test?

41:28Welcome back.
41:29My next guest today, Wendy, says that just over a week ago
41:32she discovered she might have a half-sister, Denise,
41:34a sibling she knew nothing about. Massive moment for her.
41:37She's also here to find out if she has a half-brother, Marcus,
41:40who Denise managed to track down a year ago.
41:42She's desperate for DNA to prove they all share the same father
41:45and hope she can finally get some closure
41:47and, frankly, have the family she's always yearned for.
41:50Massive, massive day for this lady.
41:52Nice lady too. Wendy, on The Jeremy Carl Show. That way.
42:04Thanks for coming on.
42:06You know sometimes, you sit here and we do stories
42:09and then somebody comes out.
42:10You're going to find out today if you've got a half-brother and a half-sister
42:13that literally a few days ago you knew nothing about.
42:15What's that like?
42:16Very strange.
42:18When I got the message on Facebook, it was, oh, my God, like, really?
42:22You never knew, you've never met them or anything.
42:25Tell me about your upbringing. Tell me about what you...
42:28My upbringing was quite bad.
42:30I was put in care at seven from abuse by my father.
42:33Apart from that, I've had an OK life after that.
42:37I've got a little girl, so she makes my life wonderful every day.
42:40Can we...
42:42Can we go into the father thing a little bit?
42:44Yeah, sure.
42:45He's in prison, isn't he?
42:46Yes, he is.
42:47He got a 15-year sentence, which is a life sentence in the UK.
42:51To me, 15 years wasn't enough.
42:54I don't want to go into too much detail, but it was for sexual assault.
42:57Yes.
42:58The twist of the story is, up until a week and a half ago,
43:01you had no idea about Denise.
43:03Then you find out about Marcus.
43:05But I'm not trying to upset anybody.
43:07They might find out that that person is their father too.
43:12Yeah. I've discussed it with Denise.
43:15You haven't met her, you've been talking to her?
43:17I've been talking to her. I've not spoken to Marcus or met Marcus.
43:21I knew about Marcus when I was 18, but I never knew about Denise.
43:24So Denise was a complete surprise to me.
43:26Is it almost like, if they were half brother and half sister,
43:30that the three of you linked by this?
43:33Actually, that's a positive out of it, in a way.
43:35Yeah, definitely, because it means I've gained an older brother and sister.
43:38I've only ever wanted to be wanted.
43:41I think by having Denise and Marcus in my life,
43:45they'll want me just as much as I want them and love them.
43:47I really hope you get the news, because you're a lovely lady.
43:50She says, I'm so happy about all this happening.
43:52It's something I've always dreamt of.
43:54I've been searching online for 20 years.
43:56Finally, I'm on the Jeremy Carr Show.
43:58Me and Marcus have got such a close bond.
44:00I want her to be my half sister.
44:02Shall we get her out? Never met her? No.
44:04Denise is on the Jeremy Carr Show. Maybe a half sister, never seen her.
44:18She looks so much like me.
44:24It's the reality of so many people's lives, isn't it?
44:27Denise, welcome to the show, my darling.
44:29Welcome back.
44:33Are you OK?
44:35Yeah.
44:38Did you have a hard upbringing as well?
44:40No. I had a very good upbringing.
44:43My mum did her best, and I'm the person who I am today.
44:48How did you reconnect with Marcus?
44:50How did you find out... You're 36, Marcus is 39.
44:53It was about a year ago, wasn't it?
44:55Yeah, I found him last year.
44:58It was in November time.
45:02I'd just lost my auntie at the time,
45:04and then I found him on social media,
45:07so that was a big shock to me.
45:09What does this Wendy situation mean?
45:15I've always wanted to have a sister in my life.
45:17I've never had a sister.
45:19I had a brother when I was younger,
45:21but he passed away when I was 18,
45:24so I've been by myself ever since.
45:26And I've always wanted to know
45:28if I had any brothers and sisters out there.
45:30Isn't the danger, and I guess you got it right,
45:32because, I mean, let's be honest, it was only a week and a half ago,
45:35and so many people leave it too long.
45:37The danger is you've bonded and you're already talking as if you are.
45:40What if you're not?
45:41I'll still text her and ring her.
45:43I'll always love her.
45:50So you've spoken to Denise,
45:52but you've never met or spoken to Marcus.
45:54No.
45:55It's a big day for you, this, isn't it?
45:57Shall we get Marcus on the Jeremy Car Show?
45:59Marcus is next, guys, this way.
46:01CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
46:09How are you, mate?
46:20Yeah!
46:21How are you, mate? Good to meet you.
46:23Swayzing up, mate, you all right?
46:25Swayzing up, mate, all right, mate?
46:27Where are you from? London?
46:29I am, yes, but I left there many years ago.
46:32Tell me you support West Ham and I'll love you forever.
46:35I absolutely love you.
46:37It's the first person I've ever met who's a West Ham fan.
46:40There are people.
46:42Marcus, what does this mean to you?
46:44A lot, because it's like I've never really known anything all my life,
46:48to be honest with you.
46:49I loved your comment.
46:50I just want to jump in because somebody asked Marcus,
46:52and he said,
46:53I accepted Denise as my sister regardless of the DNA test result.
46:56I hope Wendy is too.
46:57I've had a tough childhood. I don't know a lot about my dad.
47:00It's not about him today,
47:01it's about the three of us getting news that we all want
47:04and us three facing the world together, yeah?
47:06Absolutely.
47:11What does this mean to you?
47:14My whole world. It means the world to me.
47:17The DNA test results show that Wendy, Denise and Marcus...
47:22..you have your family.
47:24You're all half-siblings.
47:26CHEERING
47:28CHEERING
47:52Is that good?
47:53I had a funny feeling when I met you last year...
47:57So let's not go into too much detail,
47:59because you all share one thing, which is a horrible human being,
48:02but you share each other now, and that's the most important thing.
48:05You look out for your sisters, yeah?
48:07Absolutely, mate.
48:08Happy?
48:10Really happy?
48:11He can stay. He can stay wherever he is.
48:13I like you very much, despite your app.
48:15Listen, really good to meet you, all right?
48:18Thank you. So happy?
48:19Yeah.
48:20So that's your sister, that's your brother.
48:22Family, yeah?
48:23Family.
48:24Get out of here.
48:25Thank you so much.
