00:00You are watching On Demand. Please do not try to vote or enter any competition or other interactivity in this programme, as it may not count and you may still be charged.
00:10On today's show, you are here to prove your daughter's boyfriend is basically a tea leaf. You say he's sly and he's dodgy.
00:17There's something about him I just don't trust about him.
00:21You've taken people's account numbers. You've disrespected me, Maria. You've took their laptop. I miss it now.
00:27Me and Andrea are friends for 31 years. Andrea's never come to me and tell me no ****.
00:34Did he steal the laptop? Not that I'm aware of, no.
00:37Are you the best actor in the world or are you a genuine guy? Just myself.
00:40We asked Maria, did you steal Andrea's missing laptop? The father of your child said no. Why did you say no?
00:46That's not true.
00:50You absolutely think this bloke's cheating, don't you?
00:52The house just genuinely felt like someone else had been there and it smelled a bit like the sexual smell in there.
01:02I leave the house, I get accused, I look at my phone, I'm messaging people.
01:06We asked Darren, since the start of your relationship with Sarah, apart from the one occasion you've admitted to, have you had sexual intercourse with anyone else?
01:14You said no. Why did you say no?
01:16Cheers.
01:40Hello my friends, good morning and as ever a big, big welcome to the show.
01:43Our first guest today, Andrea, is here for all important lie detector results to find out who the thief is in her family.
01:48She says, check this, she's 100% certain her daughter's long-distance lover Mario...
01:53Brilliant.
01:54...will fail the test...
01:55Super.
01:56...and believes that when he was visiting the UK from America he stole her laptop to fund his flight home.
02:01She says he's no good. Today she says when she's proven Super Mario is not so super, too good for nothing liar,
02:06she hopes her daughter Marie will wise up and realise her plans to move to the States will be wrong.
02:12He's the wrong man and he's gone. Andrea's on the Jeremy Carr Show, that way.
02:23You all right?
02:24Yes, thank you.
02:25How glamorous do you look?
02:27Are you all right? You a bit shy?
02:28I am shy.
02:29Why? You've got your friend Gai. Gai is your mate, isn't she?
02:31That is my friend.
02:32You're the woman, aren't you?
02:33Yes, sure is.
02:35So, I'll get ready to do the show and apparently you've been making a...
02:39What, something about your trunk? Go on, do it on the camera.
02:41Go on.
02:42I've got a lamp at home for my trunk.
02:44Do it now, come on.
02:45Show me what you're famous for, Gai. Come on.
02:48Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
02:57Andrea, welcome to the show. Now, listen, this is something.
02:59You are here to prove your daughter's boyfriend is basically a tea leaf.
03:02You say he's sly and he's dodgy.
03:04Right.
03:05Let's go back. Your daughter is Noree, she's 21.
03:08Mario, super or not?
03:11There's something about him I just don't trust about him.
03:14What do you mean?
03:15She was on, like, the Instagram, like, talking over the... Yeah.
03:20Noree told me that she met a man online. Tell me more.
03:23Basically, she told me that she met this guy and I was a bit iffy about it
03:27because, you know, when you hear about these things going off and...
03:30You read the stories, but you said,
03:32I was a bit cynical, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
03:34I did, yeah.
03:35Did you meet him online or did he come over?
03:38She was online with him and they were talking together
03:40and that's how I met him, but still didn't know anything about him,
03:44his background or whatever.
03:46So she's brought him over, he's come over and stayed there for a bit.
03:52Well, what did you think of him when you first met him?
03:55He came across as... He was nice. Yeah?
03:57Yeah, pleasant, polite, the usual, yeah.
04:01And then, um, just basically that...
04:04You said it was interesting, you said you had him at your house
04:06and you include your daughter in this.
04:08You said they did absolutely nothing, they were disrespectful,
04:10they were lazy bums, basically, and in the end,
04:12your daughter and him, you kicked them out.
04:14I did, I did kick them out and, um...
04:18When they went, he was going back to America
04:20and that's when I realised the laptop had gone.
04:23I always say this to people on this show, right,
04:25they go, you know, oh, they start... It doesn't matter what it's worth,
04:28but this was an expensive laptop that you paid for.
04:30And you reckon... I'm paying for it still now.
04:32Right, and you reckon he nicked it, sold it and paid for his flight back home?
04:35I do believe that. Do you reckon she was part of that?
04:37I do think there's something going off, they both know about it, yeah.
04:40They're both denied it? Not only that, the first incident he ever did...
04:43Didn't she fly back with him as well? Yeah.
04:45So where did she get that money from?
04:47Does he have a job? It doesn't work at all, no.
04:49He looks a bit... Look at him, he looks very cool.
04:52He tried to take my mum's bank details.
04:54That was the first incident when he was with her
04:57and then the second time, obviously a laptop,
05:00and the third time, Christmas just gone,
05:03he took money out of the cards, his daughter's card,
05:06as well as Noreen's card.
05:09So you reckon he's stolen a laptop,
05:11he tried to defraud your mother by getting bank details
05:14and he nicked his own kid's money out of the Christmas card.
05:17Doesn't look great for Super Mario.
05:19She's having none of it, though.
05:21She says, you're just interfering, I love this bloke,
05:23he wouldn't do anything wrong. Whose idea to come here?
05:26I'm not interfering, I'm just trying to be a mother,
05:29I'm trying to protect my daughter as well as my granddaughter.
05:32Good for you, that's nice.
05:36I just don't trust him.
05:38What about you, Gayna, do you trust him?
05:41I don't know that well to trust him,
05:43but as far as Andrea goes, I trust Andrea in what she says,
05:46cos she don't come up with any...
05:48LAUGHTER
05:50Mario's on the Jeremy Carr Show.
05:52CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
05:57Oh, my God!
06:01How are you? I'm fine, and you?
06:03I'm all right. So you're from America? Yeah, Florida.
06:05Right, so how do you meet Noreen?
06:07Instagram, Instagram. Right. Yeah.
06:10You stand accused by the mother-in-law,
06:13two years ago you came to stay,
06:15she said she kicked you out cos you lot were lazy.
06:18Um...I have no idea.
06:21If that's what it was, then that's what it was.
06:23Is that all you're going to say? Yep.
06:25Did you steal the laptop? Nope.
06:27How did you find the flight back to America?
06:29I got repatriated back to America.
06:31I didn't have to pay for the flight.
06:33You was taking people's account numbers.
06:35You stole your own daughter's Christmas money.
06:37I did that, yeah, I did that, but I didn't take...
06:39You did that? You stole...
06:41You stole your own kid, that's her granddaughter.
06:43Why would you do that? To put electric in the house,
06:45that's why I did it. But why didn't you just ask?
06:47Why did you just take the card? I'm talking to you.
06:49I mean, take... You're not talking to her at all.
06:51Why are you so disrespectful? I'm not disrespectful.
06:53I'm talking to the lady, pal. I'm not speaking to the lady,
06:55I'm speaking to you. You've disrespected me, Mario.
06:57You've took the laptop. Admit it now.
06:59Haven't you? Just admit it.
07:01Mario, if the card... See, look, he can't even admit it.
07:04I 100%. If you say you took the money out of that card
07:07to put in electric, why didn't... Just ask.
07:09Why didn't you just ask and take the same money?
07:11I don't even know how we knew that there was money in the card.
07:14For your own child to say,
07:16we'll borrow that and put in electric?
07:18Yeah, yeah, yeah.
07:20This is how I know he's a little...
07:22That's why you're a damn thief. It's winding me up.
07:24That's what Andrea said to me.
07:26You're a thief. I'm getting mad.
07:28You're coming up on people and saying,
07:30I don't know you, yeah,
07:32but me and Andrea are friends for 31 years.
07:34Andrea's never come to me and tell me no...
07:37And this night she come to tell me about laptop.
07:40Still not saying anything, yeah? Just admit it.
07:42You have took it, haven't you, Mario?
07:44I went back home with it. It doesn't work.
07:46How did it come out my house? He knew...
07:48Let's get your daughters all loved up.
07:50Naree's on the Jeremy Cowell Show.
08:00He doesn't seem to think it's right to talk to anybody.
08:02Welcome to the show. Why is he like that?
08:04When he's really mad, like, he don't want to, like, open up.
08:07He stole his own daughter's Christmas money.
08:09You're all right with that, are you?
08:11No. Now I am, but at the time, no.
08:15How upset were you at the time?
08:17Like, heartbroken.
08:19So how do you know he's not capable of defrauding other people
08:22and stealing a laptop, but were you part of it?
08:24No. You got that flight back to America, didn't you?
08:27Did he steal the laptop?
08:29Not that I'm aware of, no.
08:31Not that you're aware of? What do you mean by that?
08:33So you suspect? No, like, obviously...
08:35What are you looking at me like that for?
08:37You're funny. Sorry? You're funny.
08:39You're not. You're not.
08:41You're... I'm not.
08:43Did you steal the laptop? Yeah.
08:46Did you? Did you really? No.
08:49Talk to me.
08:51Do you have doubts about this guy at all,
08:53despite the fact that they're in your ear the whole time?
08:55Come on, talk to me.
08:57I mean, obviously, I know on my hands and heart
09:00that I'm not taking the laptop, so I always think, like,
09:03OK, so what if...?
09:05You've got a nine-month-old baby together, this guy doesn't work.
09:08How do you support your child?
09:10Well, cos he's down here, he can't work anywhere,
09:13cos he's not a resident.
09:15If you're earning, then you're America, with a passport,
09:17why don't you get a job? I did have a job.
09:19And what, was she doing here? No, not here.
09:21So I don't want to stay here.
09:23Hold on a second, let me speak.
09:25I was working a political job in America.
09:27Oh, great. Do you stay here and visit?
09:29You live here or you just come and visit here?
09:31I don't live here.
09:33You're thinking about upping sticks
09:35and disappearing off to America to live with him, yeah?
09:37Eventually, yeah. What does eventually mean?
09:40Because, obviously, my daughter is my mum's first, like, grandchild...
09:44Do you know what I look at you, do you know what I think?
09:46I think you have the same qualms and concerns as your mother,
09:49but, like a lot of people, which is perfectly understandable,
09:52when somebody's telling you somebody's bad and they're no good,
09:54you stick your head in the sand, don't you?
09:56Do you really trust him, 100%?
09:58No, 100%, he knows that.
10:00You don't trust him and you're with him?
10:02No, 100%, no. Say you go to America,
10:04is he stable to look after you, have a house, flat...?
10:07No, that's the thing, that's why we're not going right now.
10:09Why do you have a baby with him?
10:11Sorry? Why do you have a baby with him, then?
10:13Because I love him. Do you?
10:15But you don't trust him, that's interesting.
10:17You've done a lie detector, why have you done a lie detector?
10:19Because we think maybe you're part of this.
10:21Did you steal the laptop? No, I didn't.
10:23Where did you get the money for your flight back to America?
10:25I was working at the time. Right, OK. I'm a support worker.
10:27So you're with him because you love him, but you don't trust him.
10:29You did a lie detector. We asked Noreen,
10:31did you steal the laptop that went missing from your mum's house?
10:33She said no. Why did you say no? Because I was telling the truth.
10:35Your daughter was telling the truth.
10:37APPLAUSE
10:39Always, to do this,
10:41always on a test lie detector,
10:43we ask if you were aware, if you were complicit in what happened.
10:45You said, do you know for sure who stole your mum's missing laptop?
10:47You said no.
10:49Your daughter told the truth on the test throughout.
10:51APPLAUSE
10:53Why are you crying?
10:55Because the whole two years
10:57she's accused me of taking...
10:59Of thinking, I wouldn't do that.
11:01I wouldn't do that to you.
11:03I wouldn't do that to you, Tom.
11:05So you passed, yeah?
11:07Did you steal the laptop?
11:09I believe he has. Have a look.
11:11Did you steal the laptop? No.
11:13He's lying.
11:15We'll do the results after this break.
11:17Don't go anywhere, because you sure as hell don't want to miss this.
11:23We asked Mario,
11:25did you steal Andrea's missing laptop?
11:27The father of your child said no.
11:29Why did you say no? Because I was telling the truth.
11:35Have you been accused of cheating?
11:37Do you need to prove your innocence with a lie detector?

12:11Thank you very much indeed. Welcome back for the break,
12:13Andrea Marineri and the twerk woman, Gwena.
12:15You did not nick the laptop.
12:17Your relationship with your mother has been affected
12:19over two years.
12:21I said at the beginning it's not about the value of something,
12:23it's about what it would mean, and you didn't cross that line.
12:25But you did honestly admit, Nere, you don't trust this bloke 100%.
12:27How does that feel, the mother of your baby doesn't trust...
12:29It hurts.
12:31Yeah? Yeah.
12:33Are you the most honest mother in the world,
12:35or are you a genuine guy? Just myself.
12:37Are you?
12:39Did you not actually... Isn't this interesting?
12:41Did you not actually tell Andrea that you could beat
12:43my lie detector?
12:45What?
12:47I only took one in America and sent it to her
12:49to test it.
12:51He didn't.
12:53I sent it to her,
12:55prove it, and he said he'd pass.
12:57So if you pass this, then...
12:59LAUGHTER
13:01Andrea, you could have done a job on me, yeah?
13:05We asked Mario, did you steal Andrea's missing laptop?
13:07Your boyfriend of how long?
13:09Two years.
13:11And the father of your child said no.
13:13Why did you say no, Superman? Because I was telling the truth.
13:15You're a liar.
13:17Oh, my God!
13:19You've come to my house!
13:21I've seen it!
13:23I've seen it!
13:25Sorry.
13:27LAUGHTER
13:29You little...
13:31Why did you do this, Mario?
13:33Andrea, Andrea, come on, mate.
13:35Sorry.
13:37Good afternoon.
13:39Here we go.
13:45Marie.
13:47It's a fact, babe.
13:49It's a fact. You passed.
13:51LAUGHTER
13:55Just bear in mind,
13:57just bear in mind,
13:59she's stuck... Listen, can I give you some advice?
14:01She's stuck by this bloke.
14:03How does she feel right now, yeah?
14:05Oh, my God.
14:07Failed it, and you passed it. Fact.
14:09Off the scale.
14:11He swore on his daughter's life,
14:13but he didn't do it.
14:15You say he didn't do it?
14:17He swore on his daughter's life,
14:19but he didn't do it.
14:21One at a time, ladies.
14:23I can't tell you why...
14:25You say what you just said.
14:27Come with me.
14:29You swore on your baby's life,
14:31you didn't do it, yeah?
14:33You swore on your baby's life,
14:35you didn't do it.
14:37Let her do it.
14:39Why do you embarrass me on TV like this?
14:41Why did you fail, then, pal?
14:43Embarrassed us.
14:45She passed, you failed.
14:47The same man is telling lies.
14:49The same man is telling lies.
14:51How could you knock me in my face?
14:53Speak, speak, because you have to.
14:55You have a child to get.
14:57I don't know why. I gave you all this time to tell me.
14:59I even told you.
15:01If you tell me that you took it,
15:03I'll tell my mum I took it.
15:05Just because she would forgive me more than she would forgive you.
15:07I didn't take a laptop.
15:09I'm looking at your face now. I didn't take it.
15:11How can you say that?
15:13It's there in black and white.
15:15You're lying.
15:17You're embarrassing us.
15:19You let mum believe that it was me.
15:21You're an idiot.
15:23You've been in my house
15:25disrespecting me like that, Mario.
15:27I never disrespected you.
15:29I never disrespected you.
15:31You took my laptop.
15:33I'm still paying for that laptop right now.
15:35I had to go and buy another one.
15:37I had to go and buy another one.
15:39The laptop I bought brand new.
15:41I was doing my college course with it.
15:43I had to go and buy another one
15:45because that one went.
15:47Can I hear from Marie?
15:49The easiest thing in the world, right?
15:51Everybody tells you what he is.
15:53Then it's proven to you and it's difficult
15:55because everybody expects you to
15:57probably end up with him.
15:59I don't know if people heard in all that noise.
16:01You just said that if he admitted it to you before
16:03you'd have said to your mum it was you.
16:05That much do you love him and your daughter.
16:07You'd have allowed yourself to take the rap
16:09because you knew she'd forgive you.
16:11He lied to you, sweetheart.
16:13I want to make a point calmly.
16:15I know I joke and I say
16:17why do people like that go online?
16:19You don't know who you meet online.
16:21He can stand there and look as cool as he wants.
16:23He's a liar.
16:25I absolutely believe that.
16:27I know, but you don't want to hear it from your parents.
16:29You two are not exactly like me.
16:31You're gobby, right?
16:33I'm telling you,
16:35irrespective of your mum and her and me,
16:37you want to think about that
16:39because that boy I wouldn't trust
16:41in a million years.
16:43Do you know what's really interesting?
16:45He's standing there like this looking at you
16:47because I think he thinks he can control you.
16:49I think he just said, you don't have to say anything.
16:51You speak to him.
16:53He's still denying it.
16:55Why don't you admit it?
16:57Just do it, Mario.
16:59I'm giving you a chance now.
17:01You can give me a million chances.
17:03I'm sticking to my answer because I know I did it.
17:05Mario, you did it.
17:07There's proof right there.
17:09Is that enough for TV?
17:11It's nothing to do with TV.
17:13It's nothing to do with the truth.
17:15I'll tell you how much I don't want you on my TV.
17:17Get the hell out of my building.
17:29You can't go to America.
17:31You can't.
17:33Take my granddaughter away from me
17:35to be with him.
17:37Do you want to know something?
17:39She knows that, don't you?
17:41Do you?
17:43I do.
17:45You want to make sure you get a couple more eyes here.
17:47Here's one thing I'm going to say to you.
17:51Think he loves you?
17:53I don't know now.
17:55Send him back.
17:57Send him home.
17:59Don't you dare go over there.
18:01I don't want you to go over there.
18:03I don't think it matters where somebody comes from.
18:05I don't think it matters about their religion, their colour or their creed.
18:07Here's the thing.
18:09As a woman, I want more than that.
18:11That's what you should be saying.
18:13It's not about anything else.
18:15It's not.
18:17What are you going to do?
18:19I know you're going to go back to him.
18:21I know your mother's going to try and she's going to try,
18:23but I'm going to tell you something.
18:25That is a fact and you and your daughter deserve better
18:27and you need to think about that.
18:29I'll leave you with Graham.
18:31Give him a round of applause.
18:35Let's hope she makes the right decision.
18:37My next guest today, Sarah,
18:39is here to tell fiancé Darren
18:41that unless he passes the lie detector,
18:43she will not be walking down the aisle
18:45at their already arranged wedding.
18:47She says she's adamant fiancé Darren has cheated on her
18:49during their 14-year relationship
18:51after their prized golden condom
18:53vanished from the bedroom.
18:55What happened to the golden condom?
18:57Sarah's on the Jeremy car show.
18:59That way.
19:01APPLAUSE
19:07What's a golden condom?
19:09Is it one that's gold?
19:11We came across a little thing between ourselves.
19:13We had a packet of condoms
19:15and because I fell pregnant at the time,
19:17I says, I don't need the rest, but this one's the golden one.
19:19No suckers getting through this.
19:21In a relationship with Darren,
19:2314 years?
19:25Yeah. And engaged to be married?
19:27Yeah.
19:29And now on the Jeremy car show.
19:31You absolutely think this bloke's cheated, don't you?
19:33And that's the end of your world, is that right?
19:35Let's talk about this. I always fancied him.
19:37We hit it off straight away.
19:39He was the love of your life. What went wrong, darling?
19:41I just felt the dis...
19:43the loyalty fade away.
19:45Is it not fair to say,
19:47so the audience are aware,
19:49at the very beginning of the relationship,
19:51he cheated on you?
19:53He did. Why did you forgive him?
19:55Because I waited that long to be with him
19:57and I thought it was just naive
19:59of both of us or...
20:01Have you always had him on a bit of a pedestal?
20:03No, it's the way we hit it off.
20:05I just felt that he was genuinely
20:07for me.
20:09You say over the last few years, months, years,
20:11his behaviour's changed. He's secretive
20:13with the phone and takes it to the toilet.
20:15It's one thing
20:17playing on a game, but if you're going to sit
20:19on the toilet, you just want to get off the toilet.
20:21He takes his phone when he walks
20:23the dog, he adds girls on Facebook,
20:25disappears for hours, he started smoking again
20:27and lies, he flirts with women.
20:29Tell him about the time he came home from college.
20:31The house just
20:33generally felt like
20:35someone else had been there and it smelled
20:37a bit like the sexual smell in the air.
20:39I liked me house really clean
20:41and I knew that me house didn't smell like that in the morning time.
20:43The house stank of sex.
20:45And then, lovely this, you were doing the...
20:47Oh, God.
20:49She found stains in his pants.
20:51And what was his excuse?
20:53Because you said we weren't having sex.
20:55At that point, he says
20:57that we had done, but at that point, I can't
20:59recall me doing it as often as he said
21:01that we were. There's an old woman up there, she can
21:03barely breathe.
21:05Bless her heart.
21:07For you,
21:09though, on a serious note, we barely have sex,
21:11we argue constantly, this is
21:13my life, this is 14 years and I feel like
21:15this guy's lying to me.
21:17What happens, on a serious note, if
21:19he has lied? What do you do?
21:21I'm not necessarily sure, but I don't
21:23think the trust will be there ever again.
21:25This golden condom, you
21:27explained at the beginning, you got pregnant
21:29and so you put that under the pillow
21:31because that was, if we ever get
21:33tempted or in a position, at least it's
21:35there and it will save this situation
21:37again. And then it went missing.
21:39Yeah. What happened?
21:41You just came home one day and it had gone?
21:43I had spent a weekend away,
21:45went back to my hometown,
21:47thought to spend some time with a friend, it was her birthday
21:49and we went out.
21:51Went home the next day after I talked to him a few
21:53times on the phone the night before.
21:55Oh my God.
21:57You know him, he's been here
21:5914 years. Can you just tell them
22:01what he said happened to the golden condom?
22:05He had a posh...
22:09Imagine Philip and Holly are warming up
22:11right now and getting a mocha down.
22:13Right, after the break,
22:15Darren's here,
22:17he says, I love her,
22:19I wouldn't cheat, she's absolutely
22:21driving me completely nuts.
22:23Will he pass the lie detector?
22:25More after this, don't go anywhere.
22:27Why would you use that condom when you know
22:29she's that ins... I was drunk,
22:31it was just one of those things.
22:33I want it to be true that he didn't.
22:35I want to find it out for sure now.
22:39What does that kid mean to you?
22:41The DNA test has not showed it right.
22:47It's the UK's
22:49most controversial talk show.
22:51We've been waiting a year and a half for this.
22:53Cannot wait.
22:55An internet sensation.
22:57Thank you, Jeremy.
22:59Raw emotion.
23:01Is my daughter
23:03my daughter?
23:05Is my daughter my daughter?
23:07Is my daughter my daughter?
23:09Is my daughter my daughter?
23:11Is my daughter my daughter?
23:13Is my daughter my daughter?
23:15Raw emotion.
23:17Is my daughter having an affair
23:19with my husband? I have never
23:21seen anything like that in my life.
23:23Explosive results.
23:25No, she's there, the other side of the door.
23:27I'll sit with his best friend, yeah.
23:29You're trying to dick him, aren't you?
23:31Absolutely outrageous.
23:33Light-changing moments.
23:35I don't want you on this show,
23:37so why don't you do one?
23:41All at 9.25.
23:43Stand up.
23:45This lady found out James
23:47is now living as a woman.
23:49Why should I defend you?
23:57Unmissable TV.
24:01Do you need to find out who is the father of the baby?
24:03Do you need that all-important DNA test?
24:05If you're 18 or over
24:07and you want to be considered for the show,

24:1112334.

24:17It's 09011.
24:19It's 123456.
24:21Calls cost 25 pence plus your network access charge.
24:23Or email TALKATITV.COM
24:25to get in touch with one of my team.
24:37I do feel for you, and I know that 14 years
24:39is a long time. There's just in your mind too much.
24:41There's too many instances, there's too many
24:43things that you think about, right?
24:45I think about everything, because...
24:47What about if he passes? We talked about
24:49if he fails. What about if this is in your
24:51head? Because he told us
24:53three days after we got
24:55together, I had a one-night stand,
24:57she knew about it, I didn't think we were official,
24:59and from that moment, my life,
25:01she checks my phone, if I leave home
25:03I'm cheating, it's constant,
25:05and it's driving me to distraction.
25:07That's what he said. First of all,
25:09it wasn't three days, it was within the 24 hours...
25:11Darren's on the Jeremy Carr show that way!
25:21Darren, welcome to the show.
25:23Why would you use that condom when you know
25:25she's that... I was drunk,
25:27it was just one of those things, it's...
25:29You've got to talk!
25:31You know what... I know it sounds bad,
25:33I know everything... Did you cheat on her? No.
25:35I cheated within the first 24 hours,
25:37yeah. I bragged to her,
25:39basically, in front of her and some of me mates,
25:41but it was the way, like, the phrases are,
25:43like, she goes, I've seen each other, I've seen...
25:45Do you love her? It broke my heart.
25:47She's helped us through a lot,
25:49haven't you?
25:53Why don't you
25:55believe him, then?
25:57He lied the first time, he can lie again.
25:59But that was 14 years ago, love!
26:01It doesn't make a difference. Then why'd you stay with him?
26:03Why would you put yourself...
26:05I want it to be true that he didn't.
26:07I want to find it out,
26:09for sure, now. What's it like
26:11on a daily basis, Daz? It's a nightmare.
26:13Talk to me, tell me what happens.
26:15I leave the house, I get accused,
26:17I look at my phone, I'm messaging people,
26:19going to the bathroom,
26:21like, when you have a number two,
26:23I like to play on my game, cos it's boring otherwise.
26:25Sorry, when you go
26:27to the bathroom for a number two,
26:29you play your game, and what, she thinks
26:31you're cheating in there?
26:33Take a picture... He's having a poop!
26:35I text him,
26:37that's what she thinks,
26:39and I take the dog out, she thinks, cos I...
26:41I don't understand, you see, you're not going to like this,
26:43and you're very quietly spoken.
26:45I don't understand how, for 14 years,
26:47you've put yourself through complete misery,
26:49and if you don't trust him, why the hell are you even engaged
26:51to him and thinking about getting married?
26:53That doesn't make any sense.
26:55Why? So you can
26:57nag him? No.
26:59Do you think he's cheated? Cos I genuinely
27:01love him, and I want him out of my life. Do you think he's cheated?
27:03About 70%, yeah.
27:05And if he has, you're done?
27:07More than likely, yeah.
27:09Never say more than likely, you'll stay and moan,
27:11won't you? You've got to make your mind up.
27:13I've got to burn his ear a bit, yeah, but I'll be off.
27:15How many people in this audience
27:17think that Darren's going to fail the lie detector?
27:21Three.
27:23Isn't that interesting?
27:25What happened to the golden condom?
27:27Have you ever had a golden condom?
27:29Brilliant.
27:31Steve?
27:35I don't know how you're going to win.
27:37No, Mr Kyle.
27:39No what? Whatever question
27:41you're asking.
27:43You have, haven't you?
27:45He has!
27:47Oh!
27:55We asked Darren, since the start of your relationship
27:57with Sarah, apart from the one occasion you've
27:59admitted to, have you had sexual intercourse
28:01with anyone else?
28:03You said no. Why did you say no? Tell him the truth.
28:09Of course he was telling the truth.
28:11APPLAUSE
28:17Since the start of your relationship with Sarah,
28:19apart from the one occasion you've admitted to,
28:21have you had sexual contact with anyone else?
28:23Darren said no, cos he was telling
28:25the truth, darling.
28:27APPLAUSE
28:29And since the start of your relationship
28:31with Sarah, apart... Do you know what?
28:33He got a full house. He passed every single question.
28:35APPLAUSE
28:41APPLAUSE
28:47Happy?
28:49Now can we get married?
28:51LAUGHTER
28:53I want to say something.
28:55I sound like my dad. Don't take this the wrong way.
28:57Babe, um, he's all right.
28:59And it's quite interesting that out of those 200 people,
29:01only three idiots thought that he cheated.
29:03LAUGHTER
29:05Is it fierce, just really? No, it isn't.
29:07Listen, if you carry on for the next 14 years,
29:09your life will be rubbish, and so is his.
29:11He's done nothing in 14 years. Get married, have fun,
29:13and stop moaning about it, all right?
29:15APPLAUSE
29:17See you later. Go on, be happy.
29:19No, you're going that way.
29:21APPLAUSE
29:25Good afternoon, we'll keep you posted, right?
29:27My next guest today, Ryan, is here for life-changing DNA results
29:29to find out if he is the father
29:31to girlfriend Carla's seven-month-old baby.
29:33Ryan says that he was utterly elated
29:35when he found out Carla was pregnant,
29:37and that she'd seen him crashing down.
29:39When she announced she'd cheated on him,
29:41and there could be two potential fathers to the baby.
29:43Madly in love, Ryan says he agreed to stand by her
29:45and support her throughout the pregnancy and the birth,
29:47but now the baby's here, he says,
29:49I need to know the truth, I need to know.
29:51It's a massive... I really like this guy, by the way.
29:53Ryan is on The Kyle Show, that way.
29:55CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
30:03You look absolutely terrified.
30:05Thanks for coming on.
30:0717 months with Carla.
30:09Potential father to Carla's seven-month-old son.
30:13First time you saw Carla, you thought she was beautiful.
30:16Oh, definitely.
30:18You're a bit of a lad, aren't you?
30:20She was pregnant within seven weeks, you know what I mean?
30:22LAUGHTER
30:24This is, and I have to say, and fair play,
30:27but this is one of the most upsetting stories I read.
30:31You go through... Before you went to the family thing,
30:34where it... How far gone?
30:37No, she was... A couple of weeks, a couple of weeks, a few weeks.
30:41All excited, he loved her, they moved in together,
30:45go to a family party, tell him what happened next.
30:47No, it wasn't a party.
30:49We just went over to announce to a family member that she was pregnant
30:52and it came out that somebody said,
30:55well, whose is it?
30:57At which point she broke down and said,
30:59yeah, I forgot to tell you, I slept with somebody else behind your back.
31:02She never said that there, she never said that there.
31:07When she admitted that she cheated, what did you say?
31:13I didn't want her to leave me.
31:15How difficult has it made it?
31:17It's... No, it's like, I brought him up, it's mine,
31:20I've been there all the way.
31:22Like, it doesn't matter if I know the biological...
31:25Yes, it does. It doesn't matter, I mean...
31:27You told my team, if he's not my son, it'll break my heart.
31:30It'll break my heart.
31:36Those two make my life worth living.
31:40And I'd hate to share my wee boy with another man.
31:44Do you trust her?
31:46I do trust her, aye, but it's always going to be there, that wee...
31:50doubt, eh?
31:52She gets messages from other men a lot, doesn't she?
31:54Like, on Facebook, she tells me, she always tells me, she'll show me.
31:57What kind of messages?
31:59Your gorgeous things, like that.
32:01Nothing explicit or anything like that.
32:05Um, she says she's been...
32:07She's a pretty lassie, you know what I mean?
32:09Of course she's going to get the messages, eh?
32:11You're such a nice bloke, aren't you?
32:13APPLAUSE
32:15I've got a pass, I've got a pass.
32:17Yeah, you've got a pass, but you've got pass the pass.
32:20Being the father is all important, but you love the bones of this girl, right?
32:23Let's get her out. Carla's on the Jeremy Carr Show.
32:26APPLAUSE
32:29Oh, I'm sorry.
32:37Welcome to the show, sweetheart. Are you OK?
32:40Aye. Yeah.
32:43Three weeks into your relationship, um...
32:46Why did you not tell him that you cheated?
32:50I was scared to lose him.
32:52Like, no, that's no excuse.
32:54You were scared to lose him. Why did you cheat on him, then?
32:58Have a seat.
33:00I know you love him, mate, he's just got...
33:02I was confused.
33:04I had just split up from my ex to meet him,
33:08and it was all new, and he was excited, and...
33:13He said, I've been with Ryan for 17 months and I can't fault him,
33:16he's romantic, and here's where you really will look good on television,
33:19he's amazing in bed.
33:21LAUGHTER
33:23I made the biggest mistake in my life three weeks into the relationship,
33:27and I hate myself for it.
33:29When you found out that you were pregnant,
33:31when that person, the family member, blurted out,
33:35was that, in a way, a relief that it was out and you had to...?
33:38Because how do you come to say something like that, I suppose, to anybody?
33:41I think, like, I knew I was going to tell him.
33:45I was going to tell him.
33:47But, to be totally honest with you, I didn't know when,
33:49I didn't know how I was going to tell him.
33:51How many times have you cheated him?
33:54With just that one person.
33:56How many times did you have sex with that person that night?
34:00Well, on the whole, for me and Ryan got together twice.
34:06So the odds are it's far more likely that he's the father?
34:09Mm-hm. What would he do to you if he wasn't?
34:12Break my heart.
34:14Do you think the two of you could survive? Aye.
34:17Definitely. He's a brilliant dad.
34:19I couldn't fault him. I've got nothing bad to say about him. Nothing.
34:26Why did you decide to come here when it was so hard?
34:29Cos it's for my wee boy.
34:31This is... For him.
34:33This isn't about me, this isn't. This is about him, and...
34:39You do see it often, it's true.
34:41He worries... I worry that, cos he's older,
34:44he thinks I'm not happy with the life he gives me.
34:47I'm very happy, you say.
34:49I am. I am.
34:51But he, you do...
34:53You feel like you're not good enough, and that...
34:57I'm partly to blame... Well, I am. I am to blame for that,
35:00because if I had never done what I'd done before,
35:03maybe he wouldn't feel the way he feels now.
35:05But I've done nothing but try and prove to him...
35:07What does that kid mean to you?
35:09Right. A lot of my kids do.
35:14You OK?
35:17OK.
35:25The DNA test has actually shown that Ryan...
35:29I'm sorry, mate, in hot shells.
35:36Oh, my God.
35:38I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
35:41Oh, my God.
35:43APPLAUSE
35:45Oh, my God.
35:50Just come with me off this stage a minute.
35:52Graham, can you just come with me off this stage, please?
35:55Oh, my God.
36:00I don't want you guys to be...
36:02I'm sorry, I can only read out the results, mate.
36:04I'm sorry, I don't want to...
36:12Sorry, Graham.
36:14I'm not... Listen, I want to finish this,
36:16because I want this show to look after you,
36:18but can I just say one thing and you might never listen to me?
36:21I think that a man who's beaten what you've beaten
36:23and what she said about you, look at me,
36:25anybody can make a baby, and I know people...
36:27I don't even want an applause. Listen to me.
36:29What you have done for that kid and done for her
36:31and done with yourself, do me a favour, pal.
36:33With his help, don't throw it all away.
36:35I'm not going to throw it away.
36:37Absolutely. She loves you, the kid loves you,
36:40and don't throw your life down the toilet.
36:42And, look, it was... I mean, it's awful.
36:45I thought it was going to be fine and we'd already be jumping around.
36:48It's a terrible, terrible answer, but that's the truth.
36:52But that's a piece of paper, right? I'm sorry.
36:55He's been there for day one.
36:57Can we let that person never even bother?
36:59You have to do this work now with Graham,
37:01because if she doesn't open up and you don't open up...
37:04Oh, my God. Sorry, mate.
37:09Oh, my God, Mum.
37:13You know what I'd do, don't you?
37:16Look at me.
37:18I'd continue to be his dad and that's what I'd do.
37:21APPLAUSE
37:23Ronald.
37:25Ronald, I really, really apologise that you didn't get the answer.
37:28It's a pleasure to meet you. I meant what I said and we'll leave you with Graham.
37:31Give him a round of applause, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you.
37:35So sorry for him and for them.

38:38Amanda is here for crucial DNA results
38:40in the hope that after 26 years of searching,
38:42she has finally found her father.
38:44Now, just four days ago, Amanda found her potential dad online,
38:47but admits she cannot meet or start to bond with him
38:49until she knows the absolute truth of DNA.
38:52Massive moment for this girl, 26 years of age.
38:54Amanda is on the Jeremy Carr show. That way.
38:56APPLAUSE
39:05I always... I have to say, in everything that we do,
39:07these are the stories that I have the greatest sympathy for people for.
39:10Just before we talk indeed... Yeah, I can see it.
39:12What does today mean?
39:14The world. Not just for me, but cos of my little girl as well.
39:17You know, she lost her grandfather, like, a couple of years back
39:20and obviously she has another one out there,
39:22but it would mean the world.
39:24It would just open up so much as well, like...
39:26What do you know, Amanda?
39:28You've never met your dad,
39:30but you've always dreamt about it for yourself
39:32and now obviously for your little girl.
39:34Tell us what you knew growing up, what you've got.
39:36I always knew that I was sort of different,
39:38that I didn't sort of...
39:40My parents weren't really sort of my parents
39:42cos they were my great-aunt and uncle and they took me on
39:44and they'd done such an amazing job raising me
39:46and I loved them unconditionally.
39:48But I always grew up thinking that my dad was, first of all,
39:51for the first sort of start in my life, that my dad was dead
39:54because my biological mum literally had been lying
39:57and swapping and changing her mind about who it was
40:00and then when she finally came out with this
40:02and there was a blood DNA test requested by the courts,
40:05it was...it was mad, really. It was just crazy.
40:08I want to do this statement now from Lisa, your mum,
40:11cos I think it's important for the story.
40:13She said,
40:14I was 16 when I had Amanda. I told Peter I was pregnant,
40:16but people had told him the test was negative and he moved away.
40:19He tried to get into contact with Amanda while she was growing up,
40:22but I was going through a difficult time and couldn't respond.
40:24So there's some acknowledgement there.
40:26I've always told Peter he's the dad, but he didn't believe me.
40:28I've recently got back in touch with Amanda
40:30and we are trying to rebuild our relationship.
40:32She's asked me a few times about her dad,
40:34but I couldn't find him until last Sunday
40:36when I managed to track him down and she got in touch.
40:39Amanda is unsure whether Peter is her dad,
40:41but I know he is 100%.
40:43And this is why... You never usually get this last line.
40:46He's a good man and I wish them both the best.
40:49That's nice, isn't it, actually?
40:51Yeah, that's lovely.
40:52She was 16 years of age.
40:54You say that, you know, she's told some lies.
40:58That's water under the bridge.
41:01Let's talk about today and let's talk about how we got to today.
41:05How did we get to Peter being found? What's the story?
41:08Well, it was actually my brother who found him on Facebook.
41:11He found the picture of him and everything.
41:15Liam.
41:16Liam, you all right? Facebook fiend.
41:18Yeah, good old Facebook.
41:20OK, yeah, go on.
41:22Yeah, he just found the picture of him and he told me
41:25and he sent the picture to my biological mum, Lisa,
41:27and then she just kind of turned around and said,
41:29yeah, it's him.
41:30Right, your dad's in this building and he's backstage, right?
41:32He cannot hear or see anything,
41:33but I'm going to show you your potential father, OK?
41:36There.
41:39It's the one on the right.
41:41LAUGHTER
41:44The one on the left is definitely not your dad.
41:49We've done a DNA test.
41:51When you look at him, what do you think?
41:54I hope it is. After 26 years, I really...
41:57I like the fact that you're not just prepared to go and see him
42:00until you know the truth.
42:02Why is this so important?
42:04Well, cos it's... He can't hear anything, by the way.
42:06The safety aspect is important, not just for me,
42:08but for my little girl as well, before I do any introducing or...
42:10But what would it mean if he is your dad?
42:12Oh, the world. It really would.
42:13It'd mean all them 26 years of searching has paid off
42:15and it would mean that my biological mum maybe has turned a corner
42:18and we can start to build little bridges, you know, and...
42:20As a little girl, though, growing up without a dad,
42:22what would it mean to... Not your little girl, you.
42:26It would just mean the world. It really would.
42:29What would you want from him?
42:31Hopefully, like, a really nice relationship
42:34and a good bond between each other and get to meet our families, really.
42:37The DNA test does not show that Peter,
42:39that man who can't hear anything, he is your biological father.
42:43CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
42:52Um, the man...
42:55I'm going to go and talk to him.
42:57Because you're the star of the show,
42:59you will be able to hear what he says
43:02when I tell him that you're his daughter
43:04and then I'm going to bring him out to meet you.
43:06But we wanted to make sure that you felt confident and got the truth.
43:10That's for you, Will.
43:12Happy?
43:13Yeah, psych!
43:15Give her a round of applause. I'm going to talk to him. Stay there.
43:18CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
43:22Thanks, guys.
43:26OK.
43:29Just sit there. Jeremy's going to come in and have a chat with you.
43:32We had a wonderful moment. Nice to meet you.
43:34The camera cut to you and Graham and I said,
43:36if it is your dad, it's definitely not the bloke on the left.
43:41How are you?
43:42Not too bad, actually.
43:43What does today mean?
43:46It's quite monumental, quite huge,
43:48because it's been, like, 26 years of not knowing
43:52whether or not it's going to happen.
43:54You won't have heard, but I read a statement from her mum.
43:58There'd been some issues in the past with her mum.
44:00They're now trying to put that right.
44:02And her mother said, which I thought was brilliant,
44:04he did try and find you, I was going through a hard time,
44:07he's a good man and I wish you both the best of luck,
44:09which is pretty rare for us to hear.
44:11It is, to be honest.
44:12I must admit, when I first got in touch and said that,
44:16she obviously was brought up by her auntie and her uncle as a mum
44:20and she regards us as mum and dad.
44:23And everybody else around that time that knew me,
44:26as she's been growing up,
44:27have just told her nothing but good things about me,
44:29which is, like I said, it's very rare.
44:31You had doubts and those doubts were well-founded
44:34because you were told that this child wasn't...
44:36You've always had those doubts.
44:38Could you have done more, do you think, to have got the truth sooner?
44:40And I'm just being honest with you.
44:42I know it was a bit of a difficult time in February around the time
44:45and there'd been so many times that I was told,
44:50I am, then I'm not, then I am, then I'm not.
44:52Time passes, right?
44:54Yeah, and then what it was eventually...
44:55Think about her all the time?
44:57Yeah, I've always thought about her in the back of my mind.
45:01You're the big man, but today must be huge.
45:04It is, but it's more for Amanda than for myself
45:07because, obviously, she's had 26 years of not knowing
45:09and had a few disappointments along the way
45:11of thinking she's found her dad and then being...
45:13If you are, what do you want? What would you give her?
45:16Just time. That's all I can...
45:18To be honest with you, that's pretty much just so she can get time
45:21and time to get to know me and answers to try and hopefully help her get on.
45:26He's got a daughter, by the way.
45:28Yeah, I know that too. It's a bit of a shock to sort of be...
45:32So if you are old man, you're a granddad.
45:34Yeah, a granddad as well, at the age of... my old age.
45:36Which is what?
45:3744.
45:38That's really, really, really young.
45:40Yeah, well, you know, you've got glamour grand, so...
45:42Oh, you're thinking about yourself again, aren't you?
45:45I like this story.
45:47I like this story because the mother's message was important.
45:51She's a nice girl.
45:53Guess what? It's your daughter on that stage.
45:56Oh, fantastic.
45:57We did the DNA test. I've told her already and she's watching us.
46:00Oh, I didn't have a clue you'd already told us.
46:02It's your daughter.
46:06All right, OK.
46:10Do you want to come and meet your daughter?
46:12Yeah.
46:13You all right? Listen, I really like you and I like her.
46:16You OK?
46:17Yeah, just a bit.
46:18It's my favourite part for a long, long time.
46:20Peter, that's your daughter.
46:23CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
46:36How alike do they look?
46:38Obviously, you haven't got a beard, I tell you that.
46:43That was such a genuine reaction in there.
46:46Yeah, it's been a long time coming.
46:48What does that mean, that moment? That's your daughter.
46:52It's been a long time coming, I've just...
46:54You take it easy, Grandad, we don't want you passing out.
46:57What do you want to say to your dad?
47:00I just can't believe it, really.
47:02It's a long chapter. It's kind of like been a long-running sort of...
47:05You got a photo of his granddaughter?
47:07Yeah.
47:09Getting out my back pocket.
47:13Oh, hey.
47:15She looks like you. She's double.
47:17Have you got other kids?
47:19Yeah. I've got quite a few.
47:23There we go.
47:27Brothers and sisters and things.
47:29Well, here's one thing you have to accept,
47:31it's not just about the fact that you're a grandad now,
47:33it's the fact that you've got 26 Christmas presents and 26 birthdays.
47:37I've had that one thrown at me once or twice over the last...
47:39What I liked about what you both said, and it's important,
47:41cos we do this with the team, and it's an important point,
47:43cos some people come out there, I've said it before,
47:45and they go, oh, it's going to be great.
47:47Congratulations, it'll be a timed thing, we'll work with you,
47:49but the most important thing is you've reconnected.
47:51We've done the DNA test, it's laid down in stone.
47:53That's your dad and that's your daughter,
47:55and that's a brilliant, brilliant thing. You happy?
47:57Oh, ecstatic over the moon, to be honest.
47:59Listen, good luck, enjoy yourselves.
48:01Thank you very much indeed for coming.
48:03We'll look after you.
48:07Nice way to end my end for this morning out of time.
