00:00Previously on The Apprentice, after four straight losses, the men of Versacorps were distraught.
00:05I don't want to look back on this thing and say, you know what, we cut each other's throats.
00:09We're very competitive men. We're 0 for 4. We think about the gravity of that.
00:14In a surprise twist, the teams were informed that they would be switched up.
00:18We're going to do what we call in business a corporate reshuffle.
00:22Both groups would now consist of men and women.
00:26I picked the best. Amy, Erica, Katrina, Tammy, and Bill. They're absolutely phenomenal.
00:32Christy, the team captain, she selected me, was her first choice.
00:36She selected Kwame, Omarosa, Jesse, and Heidi. We got outstanding sales staff.
00:41So we are going to do very, very well.
00:43For the next task, teams bought items and resold them for a higher price at a flea market.
00:49Nick relied on the women to pick the best product.
00:52So our teams made the decision that we're going to sell women's clothing and jewelry that we make.
00:57While Christy's lack of leadership frustrated her team...
01:00Omarosa and I had a talk.
01:01You got to get out here. This is where the traffic is.
01:03Let's tell her, why are you taking so long to make a damn decision?
01:06Versacorps' teamwork paid off, and they claimed their first victim.
01:10I love you guys!
01:12Concerned about going to the boardroom for the first time, Christy asked Jesse for advice.
01:17But just shut up and don't say anything until you're addressed by him.
01:21But in the boardroom, Jesse turned on Christy.
01:25Who did a lousy job?
01:26I think it was Project Man.
01:27Christy.
01:28Christy.
01:28After picking Omarosa and Heidi, Christy failed to defend herself.
01:33Christy, until tonight, you were a star, and I don't get it.
01:37You lost the fight, and you're fired.
01:41Eleven candidates are left.
01:42Who will be fired this week?
01:51Money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money,

02:51Trump said, Heidi, you're a tough cookie. She's like, damn right I'm a tough cookie.
02:55Who do you think's coming back?
02:57It's a tough call. The heat was on the team leader.
02:59But then it just got personal with Omarosa and Christy.
03:04If Omarosa does come back from the boardroom without being fired,
03:08I'll really question what this is all about.
03:11Oh, are you surprised, Tammy?
03:21No, I'm not.
03:22Did you think I wasn't going to hold my own?
03:28The most valuable thing that has happened to me was looking at the expression on the team members' face
03:36when I walked in the door, and they were shocked.
03:42Can we go meet now?
03:43We're going to go meet?
03:44Can I have a cigarette first? This is very stressful.
03:49Who do you want to be PM?
03:51I'm very interested in being a project manager.
03:54The last task, seeing a very weak, weak, weak project manager made me feel as though I needed to step up.
04:00Either I remain a team member and let someone else choose to put me up,
04:04or I go up as a project manager and determine who goes up with me.
04:08And I'm stepping up. I'm not afraid to do it. I'm really, really interested in doing it.
04:12Whatever you want to do.
04:13That's okay.
04:15The group decided to make Omarosa project manager.
04:18She'll either succeed, which will be good, we'll win, or we won't succeed,
04:23and we'll be able to see faults through that.
04:26But they don't know what they're up against.
04:28I pull off a victory, but I will seal my fate in this game.
04:45Hello?
04:46Hi, this is Robin from Mr. Trump's office.
04:48Mr. Trump would like you to meet him at Wallman Rink in 45 minutes.
04:51Thanks, Helen.
04:548.30, everybody.
04:56A Wallman Rink? That's awesome.
04:58We're going to Wallman Rink?
04:59Bottom line is, I don't know what we're going to do.
05:02I'm just excited because we have to win. We have no option.
05:20So Barry, I hear we're killing the competition.
05:22We are.
05:23We are.
05:24During the holiday season, this is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Manhattan.
05:27Just tell everybody to come to the Wallman Rink because there's nothing like it.
05:30Okay, Mr. Trump, we're ready for you.
05:31Let's go.
05:32Okay, thank you both.
05:33You're welcome.
05:34Good luck. Have a good season.
05:43Hello.
05:44Morning.
05:45This is the Wallman Ice Skating Rink in the middle of Central Park,
05:49and it's one of the things that, frankly, I'm most proud of.
05:52I've been looking at this place for years from my penthouse in Trump Tower.
05:56It used to be a real eyesore.
05:59What happened with this was just a nightmare for the city.
06:02The city spent seven years and $21 million and couldn't get an ice skating rink built.
06:09I got tired of watching, and I went to the mayor and I said,
06:13I want to build the rink.
06:14I'll do it in four months, and I'll do it for peanuts.
06:18I got it built in three months for less than $2 million, and it's been a tremendous success.
06:25Everybody loves the Wallman Rink.
06:28And it's all about giving back, giving back to the city.
06:32And now you're going to have a chance to give back
06:35because you're going to raise money for the Elizabeth Glazier Pediatric AIDS Foundation,
06:41a very important, worthwhile charity that I support.
06:45You're going to hold an auction.
06:49It's going to be done at Sotheby's, the most prestigious auction house in the world.
06:55Each team will have five celebrities to negotiate with.
06:59You're going to use these celebrities and figure out how to raise money
07:04and come up with a personal experience for each celebrity to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
07:10The team that raises the most money at the auction wins.
07:14The losing team will meet me at the boardroom.
07:18Where the sixth person will be fired.
07:21That's not good.
07:23So good luck, do well, and raise lots of money for this great charity.
07:36Bill and Tammy are the only two team members that have not led a task yet,
07:40so we felt like we should give them the opportunity to lead.
07:42And we all voted on Bill because we felt he was better suited for this task.
07:46Okay, these are the celebrities that we've been given.
07:48We've got Regis Sullivan, Rocco Dispirito,
07:53we've got Carson Daly, Tiki Barber from the New York Giants,
07:58and then we have the executive producer of Third Watch.
08:01You must turn in your completed auction certificates...
08:03Completed and submit by 2 p.m. tomorrow.
08:05Again, the celebrities are Russell Simmons,
08:09Kate White,
08:12Nicole Miller,
08:14the Fab Five,
08:16Prairie Eye for the straight guy.
08:17I love them.
08:19Isaac...
08:20When can I say that ever?
08:22Mizorahi.
08:23Mizorahi.
08:24The T is getting, like, scheduling his meeting.
08:27We gotta...
08:28Okay.
08:29Yes, we are calling to schedule an appointment with Tiki Barber.
08:32Get there right at 4.
08:33Perfect.
08:34Regis on the phone.
08:36Hello.
08:37Hi, Amy.
08:38Hey, Reg, how you doing?
08:40Great.
08:42You know what, I'm not usually starstruck,
08:44but we're gonna get to meet Regis filming one-on-one.
08:47That is the coolest thing.
08:49We had direct contact to these people,
08:51so it's kind of glamorous.
08:52It's fun.
08:53Thanks so much.
08:57So we'll talk soon.
08:58Where's Tammy?
08:59Tammy?
09:00We have a tendency to speak on top of each other
09:02and come across looking really unprofessional
09:04if all of us are there.
09:06So we split up,
09:07and Erica, Tammy, and I went to see Carson Daly
09:10while Katrina, Nick, and Bill went to see Tiki Barber.
09:18I did explain the situation to Cade,
09:20and we are able to squeeze you in.
09:23What is that, though?
09:25We scheduled two meetings for this afternoon,
09:27one with Russell Simmons
09:28and the other one with Isaac Mizhari.
09:31Did I say that right?
09:34Mizorahi.
09:35Mizorahi.
09:36I'll have it right before I meet him.
09:42Hello?
09:43Hey, I'm Russell. I'm rushing for you.
09:45Can I get the number for Katie Carr?
09:47She's our contact for the foundation.
09:49Okay, where are we calling her?
09:52We thought maybe it's a good idea
09:54if we actually call the charity
09:56and get some details on this charity
09:58before we get over there
09:59so we can present it to Russell.
10:01Hey, let me speak to Kwame.
10:06I want to talk with her as well
10:07because I haven't had an opportunity
10:09to talk with her just yet.
10:12We're going to be here in a second.
10:13Are we here? Wait, we're here.
10:15Okay, what's the number?
10:16Let's talk when we get together.
10:26I'm sorry, I had to ping it on them.
10:27They're not listening to me.
10:29Omarosa creates such negative energy all around her.
10:32It's going to be a huge fiasco.
10:34I think it would be best for the team
10:36if Omarosa was fired.
10:43Negotiation is a very, very delicate part.
10:46The big thing in negotiation
10:48is to try and figure out your opponent.
10:51Otherwise, you're going to look like an idiot
10:53and lose big.
10:58We can talk to him as a group
11:00so all of us can collectively...
11:02Trump asked us to raise money
11:04for the Elizabeth Glacier Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
11:08Each team got five celebrity names,
11:10and we got to meet with these celebrities
11:12and come up with an experience
11:14to offer out and donate out.
11:16My heart was into this.
11:17Listen, you all, regardless of what happens,
11:20we have got to come out of here with something.
11:22First appointment was Russell Simmons.
11:24We elected a pilot and a co-pilot on every person
11:26to do the actual pitch.
11:28The pilot was myself, the co-pilot was Omarosa.
11:30I was really excited about meeting Russell Simmons,
11:32hip-hop pioneer, media mogul.
11:39We walk into his office, there's Russell Simmons,
11:41and it's kind of surreal after watching him
11:44for most of my life to be standing in front of him.
11:46All right, so what are we here to do today?
11:48We're here to discuss the Elizabeth Glacier
11:50Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
11:52So what we'd like to talk about
11:53is a little bit about the foundation.
11:55Are you a lawyer?
11:56I'm not.
11:57What's your background?
11:59And so one of the ideas we came up with
12:01was a New Year's Eve personalized concert
12:04and after party.
12:07What are the other ideas?
12:08Okay.
12:10The other ideas that we have are
12:12a one-year unlimited backstage pass,
12:14where basically it would be...
12:16That's no good.
12:17Okay.
12:18I don't know.
12:19I think he thought I was pretty stiff,
12:20and so, you know, I couldn't necessarily
12:22be all completely myself, which I think hurt me.
12:25The reason we're adding so many different elements
12:27is because this is a charity auction,
12:28and we have to make it as appealing as possible.
12:31I don't like any of them.
12:32None of them?
12:33Not really.
12:34Kwame and Omarosa were awestruck a little bit,
12:37and I didn't really feel the gravity of Russell.
12:39That's what we come up with, Russell.
12:41What we had the idea is...
12:44Where are you from?
12:46I'm from Idaho, but originally I'm from Montana.
12:48You're not self-conscious about your accent, are you?
12:50You can make fun of me with my accent.
12:52That's all right.
12:53Russell basically looked at Troy as if he was from Mars.
12:55You know, Russell is an urban guy from Queens, New York.
12:58Troy's accent is great, Montana, Idaho,
13:00and so that back-and-forth was good
13:02because it helped us break ice a little bit.
13:04You would be willing to honor one person for one night
13:06and make them the center of attention.
13:08That's a good idea.
13:09That sounds like, for me,
13:10I would spend some time with a person.
13:12Yeah, just make them feel as good as you can.
13:14Troy's a great closer.
13:15His country demeanor helped close the deal.
13:17Thank you for being here.
13:30Ladies!
13:31Hi!
13:32So we're about to meet Carson Daly,
13:34who is a host, amongst many other things,
13:37for mostly the music industry.
13:39So we're hoping to sort of secure backstage tickets,
13:42something to that extent.
13:43So we wanted to talk to you about some potential ideas
13:46for donations for tomorrow's event.
13:48So what type of New York concerts are coming up?
13:51The Christmas shows, which are really popular.
13:54Are you emceeing any of them?
13:56I'll probably do something at the Z100 Christmas jingle ball.
14:00It's a very, very big event.
14:02So would you be open to doing something like
14:05hosting a limo ride and eight tickets
14:08for a group of people to attend that event?
14:10Well, it is a great musical experience.
14:12It's one of the few when you get all these artists
14:14under one roof at one time.
14:15They all sing their hit songs.
14:16Do you know Tiger Woods?
14:17I know you've played with him before.
14:18Could you guys get a round together
14:20and maybe fill it out with another couple?
14:22What have you been drinking tonight?
14:23What are you talking about?
14:24That's shooting high.
14:25Yeah.
14:26I can't get Tiger Woods these days to do my own talk show,
14:29not to mention play golf.
14:30But he loves golf, and so do you,
14:31and so you guys can spot and have some fun.
14:33Yeah, no, it sounds simple, but he's very busy.
14:36Tammy was more like, you know, Carson,
14:38we don't really care about you,
14:39but we care about who you know,
14:40and that's the time that Eric and I just stared at each other
14:43and we're like, oh, please, dear Lord,
14:45shut up when we're making progress.
14:47Just keep your mouth shut.
14:48Let's shelve the golfing for a minute.
14:50Is there another sort of thing that you might have thought of
14:54that I could offer?
14:55Flying away with you somewhere for a romantic weekend.
14:58Boy, you are really shooting for the fence, aren't you?
15:01I can't even do that on my own time,
15:03not to mention with a perfect stranger.
15:05You're alive.
15:06Yeah, no kidding.
15:08I like the Z100 jingle ball.
15:10But would you feel comfortable then
15:12taking them backstage, introducing them,
15:14and they would get to stay and experience the entire ball?
15:17I think that's feasible.
15:18How about, like, going back to the golfing for just a second,
15:21like a celebrity and you,
15:23so we don't know who this other celebrity is yet.
15:26Let's stick to the Z100 thing.
15:28I think that's a good idea.
15:29Celebrities are real people.
15:30They just happen to be doing jobs in the public's eye,
15:33and it's just a business transaction for me.
15:36So we've got your commitment then
15:38for the experience of a day in the life with Carson Daly
15:40at Z100 jingle ball.
15:42Yes.
15:43Tammy is, uh, she's the least canon.
15:45If it were up to me, I would actually request
15:47that she never attended any meetings that we had.
15:50Okay, we'll send you a copy.
16:03Are you ready for the Fab Five, baby?
16:06I can't wait to meet them.
16:08Fab Five.
16:09Fab Five.
16:10Fab Five.
16:11We go to meet with the Fab Five,
16:13Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
16:15I wanted to have a strategy to warm these guys up.
16:18What is their job?
16:20Their job is to critique straight men.
16:23You can't have a straighter man
16:25than a country kid from Boise, Idaho.
16:27I simply took my belt off, slipped it off,
16:29and I stuffed it into my bag.
16:31I'm from Boise, Idaho, originally Montana.
16:33Very nice to meet you.
16:34Nice to meet you.
16:35Did you approve?
16:37What is the belt situation?
16:39You might as well be naked if you have no belt on.
16:43Take it off.
16:45A country innocent boy who doesn't know how to dress.
16:48I mean, I was a virgin on prom night to those kids.
16:51And guess what?
16:52Once that happened, bam, I was in like Flint.
16:55You want to be an intern, don't you?
16:58Well, gentlemen, what we've come here today to do
17:01is talk to you about what we can do for the children.
17:04Pediatric Aid Society is who we're trying to benefit here.
17:07Snaps for good cause.
17:09Oh, we just did a snap and be happy?
17:12Snap and be gay.
17:14Which is pretty much the same thing.
17:16What we're trying to do is we're trying to come up with an idea
17:19that we can maximize the dollars for our auction.
17:21Like, have you guys take somebody, a guest,
17:23to a conservative golf course and just go on fashion patrol.
17:26Wow.
17:27I like golf because it involves cute shoes
17:29that we don't normally get to wear.
17:31What if we came up with another activity
17:33that were similar to golfing involving balls
17:35that we could also do perhaps in the city?
17:37Bowling.
17:38Bowling.
17:39He's going bowling.
17:40Flashing lights and the music.
17:41How many times did you get to see gay guys bowling?
17:43Never!
17:44Troy and I work so well together.
17:46He's from Idaho, and he's aggressive,
17:48but he's a little bit more passive in that Southern charm.
17:50And I get that New York in me. I'm aggressive.
17:52I like to close the deal.
17:53I think I did a f***ing fantastic job.
17:55Okay, I think we've got it nailed, right?
17:57That was really clever.
17:59And it involves balls.
18:09Hi, I'm Katrina Campos. Pleasure to meet you.
18:11One of our celebrities is Tiki Barber,
18:13and I'm really excited because I'm a huge football fan.
18:15I think everybody in New York City loves Tiki Barber.
18:18Why not do a slumber party?
18:20But hear me out before you laugh.
18:22How are you doing, Ed? I'm Nick.
18:23Nick, good to meet you.
18:24It's a pleasure.
18:25And this is Anthony Uribe.
18:26We headed to Brooklyn to see Ed Bernaro,
18:29who is an executive producer
18:31and one of the co-creators from Third Watch.
18:34Somebody coming onto the show
18:35is something we can absolutely do.
18:37This type of task is like the cherry on top of a sundae.
18:41You get to show Mr. Trump
18:42that we can work successfully as a team
18:45and give back to a great cause.
18:48This is the spirit house. Nice to meet you.
18:51Mama.
18:52We went to Rocco's Restaurant,
18:54which is on 22nd and Park Avenue,
18:56and we met with Rocco and Mama.
18:58So, what's going on?
18:59I don't want to blow you away,
19:00but renting a chateau in, like, French Thor Valley.
19:03How do the expenses get paid for in that?
19:08Part of it would be donation from yourself.
19:11We can pretty consistently count on
19:13Hemi saying something in a meeting
19:15that we wish we could erase.
19:17It's a little bit, you know,
19:18it's a little bit out of the blue.
19:20Let's try to think of some other ideas.
19:29Jessie.
19:30Jessie.
19:31Nice to meet you.
19:32Kate Omarosa.
19:33We went to see Kate White,
19:34the editor of Cosmo Magazine.
19:36I saw Hilary's campaign too.
19:38You did something for her.
19:39You did your homework.
19:41So nice to meet you.
19:43We went and met with Nicole Miller.
19:45Nicole is a celebrity designer
19:46for people like Jennifer Aniston.
19:48We have sold some internships off over the past
19:51that really went for a lot of money.
19:53Everyone is doing great so far.
19:54I mean, the bottom line is
19:55your spirits have to be up.
19:57If you're not pumped,
19:58if you're not passionate about it,
19:59it's not going to work.
20:00Bye, guys. See you later.
20:07Hi.
20:08Hi, Isaac.
20:09How are you?
20:10Good, thank you.
20:11How are you?
20:12Are you the...
20:13We are the apprentices.
20:14The next person that we went to see
20:16was Isaac Mizrahi.
20:17He custom-designed clothes and stuff for Target,
20:20and the person that did the pitch was Jessie.
20:23All right, okay, so...
20:24Well, Mr. Mizrahi,
20:25what we're here to do is we're representing an auction,
20:29a charity auction that we'll be at tomorrow.
20:31What we're here to do is we're representing an auction,
20:34a charity auction that we'll be at tomorrow evening.
20:36Right, right, okay.
20:37What's going to go on at this auction
20:39is people are going to be bidding on experience.
20:42Oh, okay.
20:43So we need to create an experience.
20:44I love how you're speaking to me
20:45as though I, like, have never spoken the English language.
20:47I'm sorry.
20:50I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
20:51It's okay, no, no, it's fine, it's fine.
20:53You're a doll, go on.
20:55You're a doll.
20:57She totally patronized the man.
20:59She talked to him like he was a four-year-old,
21:01but I'm not certain that she caught that,
21:03and she continued to talk very, very slowly with him,
21:09and it started to irritate him.
21:11I mean, it was driving me crazy,
21:13and I kept looking at Georgia's face,
21:15who was observing her negotiation,
21:17and he was cringing.
21:18So we're thinking eight designed pieces,
21:21personally designed pieces from you.
21:23You got a consultation.
21:25Consultation, design, you know, you've helped him.
21:27And then a party, my gosh, it's like...
21:30It could be dinner.
21:31They were the guests of honor.
21:33Omarosa would jump in when I was speaking
21:36and kind of stunted my ability to negotiate well
21:40because someone was standing over my shoulder
21:42tapping me constantly.
21:44So we came up with Fashion Week.
21:46Oh, I knew it, I knew it.
21:48Man, go ahead.
21:50What is it?
21:51Yes, I'm disappointed.
21:52Fashion Week?
21:54That's so much work, y'all.
21:57Jesse gave her pitch, and he kind of looked at us,
21:59and he was like, no, I'm sorry, I don't like that.
22:02And I chose to put one step forward.
22:04How about what you do?
22:05You do a couple things with your chic ideas.
22:07We've got yous, and we do a preview of your collection.
22:10How about that?
22:11We do a preview.
22:12Yes!
22:13Oh, my God.
22:14We do a preview of your collection.
22:15Winner!
22:16Don't you think that sounds like a lot of fun?
22:18Yeah, it's a lot of fun.
22:19They get to see the collection.
22:21It's snappy fun.
22:23It's fun over here.
22:26Minimum.
22:27Eight looks from Isaac.
22:29Ms. Rahi.
22:31Ms. Rahi.
22:32Oh, Lord.
22:33I got your name right, baby.
22:34I just took a little start.
22:35You got it right.
22:36Forget it.
22:38Forget it, the president of Donald Trump Corporation.
22:40Forget it.
22:42Without a shadow of a doubt,
22:43Jesse was the weakest link on this particular task.
22:46Jesse's a good woman, and Jesse does fantastic at what she does.
22:50When it comes to negotiations, she's just the weakest link.
22:54That's just the way it is.
23:00Tammy may need to get shushed.
23:01Yeah, I might have to shush her.
23:03Rocco Disperito tells us today, I have no jet.
23:06And she's like, so what about we charter a jet to Tuscany and rent a villa?
23:13She's not on the same page.
23:15I know.
23:16Not only is she not on the same page, she's not reading the same book.
23:19I mean, if she starts talking s*** with Regis, I mean, I just.
23:21That's the whole thing.
23:22You've got to tell her tomorrow, Nick.
23:23I can't tell her right now.
23:24I have a question.
23:25Regis.
23:26We do not need her with Regis.
23:27No, you don't understand.
23:29Shush.
23:30Don't shush me.
23:31I thought you were a strong man.
23:33No, I don't need to be shushed.
23:34You're like a man to take charge.
23:36You just told me that, Amy.
23:37But I don't want somebody to shush me.
23:39Is that not taking charge?
23:40No.
23:41I would actually like a man to take charge on my own terms.
23:43Oh, see.
23:44See all that old routine.
23:46One thing I really don't like is for anybody to ever shush me.
23:50And I think Nick experienced that.
23:52I'm like, you know what?
23:53I may like a strong man, but I don't like anybody to shush me.
23:56I did a very take charge thing and went shush.
23:59No, you don't shush.
24:00No.
24:01Don't shush me.
24:03Don't play cutesy with me, young lady.
24:05I shushed and you got all upset.
24:09Just don't shush me, baby.
24:19Ah!
24:28Who do we have?
24:29Hello, come on in.
24:30Hi, I'm Tammy.
24:31Nice to meet you.
24:32Nice you look, Tammy, in your business suit.
24:34I've got a high level of concern about Tammy.
24:36Tammy doesn't really have a concept of what we're trying to achieve today.
24:40I mean, I'm concerned that we're going to lose credibility by some of the questions that she may ask.
24:44Boy, how exciting this is.
24:46Please, you know, I've been in this room for 20 years and it's slowly catching up with me.
24:51So what would you like to talk about?
24:54Well, one thing that we thought of was spend a day in the life with Regis Philbin.
24:58Starting from waking up and having breakfast before the show.
25:03Breakfast?
25:04I mean, I get up at 7.30 in the morning and I make myself a little cereal and some milk and orange juice and that's it for me.
25:11And I feed my cat.
25:12Maybe they can feed my cat for me.
25:14Maybe so.
25:16So what else?
25:17Trump would give me 15 ideas just like that.
25:19There were ideas that Amy was presenting that weren't exactly what he was looking for.
25:24If they can't come up with the big ideas, that's when I assert myself.
25:27How about like an exotic trip for four with you and Joy and maybe another couple.
25:32Let me get this straight.
25:33I gotta go to the far ends of the earth?
25:35Two nights then.
25:37Where are we going for two nights?
25:40Your favorite destination.
25:42You and a guest will go with Joy and Regis to their favorite destination.
25:49Who's Phil?
25:50Phil Donahue coming with us?
25:52No, Regis.
25:53What about any other events that you may be hosting or emceeing in the New York City area?
25:58Well, I do a nightclub act, going into Atlantic City.
26:03I think that sounds like a fantastic day.
26:05So I think we can ditch it as a day in the life of Regis.
26:08A limo to Atlantic City.
26:09Participate in the dress rehearsal of the night show.
26:13Dinner at 10pm with Regis.
26:15Yeah, that could be arranged.
26:16I think that sounds great.
26:18You like that? Are you comfortable with it?
26:22We didn't put together packages that were just going to blow people out of the water.
26:26So I'm a little bit skeptical.
26:27I'm not 100% satisfied.
26:29You're next.
26:30I can't reach.
26:31Then I'm out of here.
26:32Okay.
26:33And if we don't make it, I mean, this is back to the boardroom.
26:39New York City, New York
26:50I do remember. Yes, how are you?
26:52You know the legendary Regis Philbin?
26:54We get to Sotheby's and we're up in a skybox.
26:57And we're overlooking the entire auction floor, all the high society people that are down there.
27:02I really do feel in the bottom of my heart that we will beat the other team on this task.
27:07But ultimately it will come down to who will attend the auction and how many drinks they've had tonight.
27:17Well, thank you very much and it's an honor to be here.
27:20We're doing something I think that's going to be very special.
27:22Elizabeth Blazier Foundation, it's really a great thing.
27:26And bid high tonight, folks, because it's really worthwhile.
27:28Thank you. Thank you, everybody.
27:31I usually go to farm auctions where the auctioneer is wearing a cowboy hat and he's talking real fast.
27:36And chewing on a piece of grass or something.
27:39But this is a totally different experience for me.
27:41Lot number one is the Fab Five.
27:43Spend an evening of disco bowling and stylish cocktails with a cast of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
27:48Start the bidding here at $1,000. Who bid me $2,000?
27:50I have two. I have three. I have $4,000.
27:52I was really excited about the cast of the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy because they are so fabulous.
27:57I felt that they would be one of our highest donations.
27:59I have $7,000. I have $8,000.
28:03This lovely young lady had $8,000.
28:07I have $8,000. I have $9,000.
28:09It's against you now, Madam, but $10,000 is a good number.
28:12I have $9,000 once. I have $9,000 twice.
28:17Sold it for $9,000.
28:21When the other team got the big money for the Fab Five package, they were all pumped up.
28:25They were jumping for joy.
28:26It was concerning to me because I think I may have underestimated some of the packages they were going to put together.
28:31Lot number two. This is with Regis Philbin.
28:36Two front row tickets on the set followed by a backstage tour.
28:39The live performance of Regis and Susan Lucci.
28:42And then you have dinner with Mr. Philbin.
28:44And you spend the night not with Mr. Philbin.
28:50Here we go. I have $1,000. I have two, three, $4,000.
28:52$4,000. $5,000. $6,000. I have $6,000.
28:55Surely he's worth more than $6,000.
28:58I have $6,000 once. I have $6,000 twice.
29:03Sold. $6,000.
29:07At that point I just had this pit in my stomach thinking we're going to lose.
29:11Lot number three is the Isaac Mizrahi.
29:14Lunch with him. Look at his collection.
29:16And you finish the day with eight outfits for you.
29:19We'll start the bidding at $1,000. I have $1,000. Two, three.
29:21Isaac Mizrahi came out of the blocks in a full sprint.
29:24It ratcheted up to $7,000 in a matter of like ten seconds.
29:28That's $7,000 now. Once. I've got it twice.
29:32Sold to you, sir. Thank you very much indeed.
29:36Lot number four. Rocco's Restaurant.
29:38Private party. Four courses. Fifty people.
29:41I'll bid $1,000 to myself.
29:43$1,000. $2,000. $3,000. $4,000. $5,000. $5,000.
29:46As each paddle raised on the Rocco, it was like a defibrillator paddle pumping my heart up again.
29:51It was great.
29:52I have $10,000. All the way in the back at $10,000.
29:53Once we hit $9,000, then $10,000, then $11,000.
29:55I have $12,000. Man standing in the back of the room.
29:57And then I was breathing on my own after about $12,000, so it was great.
30:00Standing in the back of the room at $12,000 once, twice, $13,000.
30:06New place. Lady's bid at $13,000. $13,000 at $13,000.
30:11$13,000 now. Once, twice. Sold you, madam, for $13,000.
30:17Once the hammer hit and we got $13,000, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
30:22I knew we were in the game again.
30:24Now lot number five is Kate White, editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Magazine.
30:28Cosmo Day, I call it. I'll bid $1,000 for Cosmo Day. Why not?
30:32For the next couple rounds, it was literally a boxing match.
30:35Sold for $6,000.
30:37They got one punch. We got one punch.
30:39This is the walk-on part for third watch.
30:42$2,000 on my right. $2,000. $3,000. $4,000. $4,000. $7,000. Sold yours for $7,000.
30:48Lot number seven is the Nicole Miller, fashion designer.
30:53Spent 15 days working as an apprentice.
30:56I'll bid $1,000. I have $2,000. On the phone now, $3,000.
30:59I have $4,000. I have $4,000 against you now. I have $5,000.
31:02I have $6,000 on the phone with Amy. Sold to Amy's bidder at $6,000.
31:07This is the Tiki Barber lot. I'll start the bidding at $1,000.
31:11I have $2,000. I have $3,000. I have $3,000 here on my left.
31:14$4,000. Lady's bid on the aisle now at $4,000.
31:16Lady's bid on the aisle now at $4,000 now. Tiki Barber for $4,000.
31:20Tiki Barber's stuck at $4,000. Surely someone wants to say $5,000.
31:24So easy to say $5,000. Once.
31:27Tiki Barber going once. Twice. Tiki Barber going twice.
31:30I wanted to yell to the crowd, come on, man. I mean, this is a great gift.
31:34Sold for $4,000. Thank you, madam, very much.
31:39Lot number nine is the Russell Simmons, opportunity of a lifetime.
31:43$1,000. $2,000. $3,000. $4,000. $5,000. $5,000. $6,000. $7,000.
31:48I have $7,000. $7,000 once. $7,000 twice. Sold to you for $7,000.
31:58Thank you. Thank you.
32:02The Carson Daly opportunity.
32:05You'll be his personal guest for the annual Z100FM Jingle Ball.
32:10Going into the Carson Daly package, I knew we were in some serious trouble.
32:14I knew Carson Daly was a popular guy. I knew he was going to get, you know, maybe a couple thousand dollars.
32:18But I certainly didn't think he was going to get more money than Regis Philbin.
32:22So who will start to bid? I'll bid $1,000. $2,000. $3,000. $4,000. $5,000. $5,000. $6,000.
32:27Carson Daly went on the blocks and the paddles were flying again.
32:30$6,000 in front of me now at $6,000. $7,000 is here now at $7,000. $7,000. $8,000. Not a girl, $8,000.
32:36$8,000 now. $9,000. $9,000. It's against you now, young lady.
32:41There was this young lady in the audience sitting there with her mom, driving the bid price up.
32:46Mom, this is your moment, sweetheart. This is it. You can go a little higher.
32:50No? Daddy wouldn't like that? Okay. $9,000 once. $9,000 twice.
32:56$10,000. And at $10,000 once, twice, sold to you, young lady, with $10,000.
33:12We're all finished here, so we'll meet you in the conference room for the results.
33:16Great. Thank you. Okay? Good.
33:26Well, tonight, I want to congratulate both teams.
33:43You raised $75,000 for pediatric AIDS, and the Elizabeth Glazier Foundation could not be happier.
33:51It was a great job. So really, there were no losers.
33:56However, that's not the way the game is played.
34:02Protégé Corporation, your team raised $35,000.
34:10Versacorp, your team raised $40,000.
34:14That means you folks, you're free. I'm not going to give you any rewards.
34:18Your reward really was in raising all of this money. It was a great job.
34:23Omarosa, good job anyway. I can't be overly upset. I can't be angry. Good job.
34:30But unfortunately, someone still has to get fired this week.
34:34I'll see your team tomorrow in the boardroom.
34:54Well, it was a nail-biter tonight, wasn't it? It was. I mean, whew.
34:59Our team had another success to celebrate after winning the challenge for the charity.
35:04And I think it was a good time to unwind and get to know each other a little bit better.
35:08I love this team. I like the girls' team, but I love this team.
35:14There's a love fest. Just give them the line you just told about the boardroom.
35:19Well, Mr. Trump, I don't want to sugarcoat anything, because I don't want to get in anybody's sweet tooth.
35:26I thought I was nuts.
35:28There's a head trip inside.
35:29If he's a head trip, what are you?
35:31I'm out there.
35:32Tammy, you're in left field. Where are we?
35:34Right field.
35:35And Tammy, when we hit the ball to left field, what do you do?
35:38Catch it?
35:39Good job. Good job.
35:41All right.
35:50Amy and I got into a pretty good conversation, and, you know, it was a good time.
35:56There's no love connection here. There's just a shush in your mouth.
36:00And she's just a great girl that I love spending time with, so.
36:04I got married too young, and I still wanted to, like, do a lot of things in my life.
36:09Do you want to get married again?
36:11Probably within three years.
36:13No way. What do you need for a kid?
36:15That's my last name.
36:16How about you?
36:17Kid name.
36:18Kid name.
36:19Jake and Brooke.
36:21Why? It's just funny.
36:22It's just funny. I've never known a guy that actually has his children's names picked out before he even has a conference.
36:27Nick's told me that he's basically got to find a wife that's willing to name his children Brooke or Jake,
36:32or else he's going to have to move on.
36:36You know, who are cute names?
36:38No way that you will be naming your children.
36:41Why do you say that?
36:42Because it just doesn't work that way with women.
36:44Women have been the result of a lot of men's downfalls.
36:49And it ain't going to be me.
36:52I'm not worried about anybody in the boardroom,
36:54because I will talk circles around Jesse and her farm ideas,
36:59and Troy and his country attitude,
37:02and Kwame with his MBA perspective.
37:06I'm not worried about anybody in the boardroom,
37:08because I will talk circles around Jesse and her farm ideas,
37:12and Troy and his country attitude.
37:15And Kwame with his MBA perspective.
37:18And Kwame with his MBA perspective.
37:21I mean, I can go toe-to-toe with the best of them.
37:24I have to rate my tasks,
37:26and I have to make a decision based on your performance.
37:29You were horrible yesterday.
37:31I did well.
37:32I feel like I was very strong when I speak.
37:34I was like, okay, can you do this?
37:36Can you do that?
37:37Can you do that?
37:38Can you do that?
37:39So you essentially went down what was on this commitment sheet,
37:42and that was effective negotiation.
37:44She thought she did pretty good, which is kind of ironic to me,
37:47because not only did she tank on her negotiation with Isaac,
37:50but she did so in front of George.
37:52And if I did not take her into the boardroom with me,
37:55I think George would question my ability to manage
37:58and to evaluate my people effectively.
38:01The bottom line just is that I thought you were the weakest negotiator by far.
38:05I disagree with that.
38:06Really?
38:08But we'll talk about it in the boardroom if it comes down to that.
38:13Omarosa basically said that I was the weakest link
38:17because of my negotiation skills.
38:19I guess I would just say to Mr. Trump is that
38:23even though you complete a task,
38:25I think it's the character behind the person that's the most important.
38:31All right, guys. Goodbye. Bye, Katrina.
38:34The two people that are in jeopardy, Omarosa and Jesse.
38:38Omarosa, because she's the team captain, by default she goes in there no matter what.
38:42Maybe Donald Trump doesn't like her style.
38:44Maybe he does. I don't know.
38:46But Jesse was absolutely the weakest one this time.
39:01Okay. You had a close match.
39:29It was pretty good.
39:31You didn't do terribly, but you lost.
39:34That means somebody's going to have to go.
39:36Troy, did Omarosa do a bad job?
39:38I can tell you in the beginning that I questioned Omarosa as a leader.
39:42After this task, I thought she did a fantastic job.
39:45Heidi, what do you think?
39:47I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
39:49We worked well together. She led us.
39:51But you lost.
39:52We couldn't have done anything different, Mr. Trump.
39:54We got out there. We negotiated our best.
39:56Yeah, but somebody has to go, Heidi.
39:58Who do you think has to go?
39:59It's a very, very difficult decision.
40:01But who has to go?
40:02I wouldn't make that decision.
40:03So you won't make a decision?
40:04I don't have to if I'm not the PM.
40:05No, but in life you have to make decisions.
40:07Who do you think should go?
40:08Everyone was excellent. Great.
40:11Who should go?
40:12The only person that had difficulties in negotiating was Jesse.
40:18Jesse, who should go?
40:20Well, I think sometimes being a leader you succumb to the pressure.
40:24And who did that?
40:26I think that Omarosa did.
40:28Not a good leader?
40:29I think she's a good leader. I think she just succumbed to the pressure.
40:33Do you think that's true?
40:34Absolutely not. I was born to be a leader.
40:37There was a weak link and she's trying to protect herself.
40:41Kwame, what do you think?
40:42I think, one, Omarosa did a great job.
40:44But you lost.
40:45I think Jesse had probably the most difficult negotiation.
40:48Do you think Jesse should go?
40:49I think in this situation she had the most difficult negotiation.
40:52What does that mean by most?
40:54That means that she probably should go.
40:55You mean she did the worst job at negotiation?
40:57She had a very difficult negotiation with Isaac Mizrahi.
41:00And why was it difficult?
41:02We had some ideas that were shut down
41:05because he knew better than we did what would be more valuable
41:09and what he did because I don't know designers.
41:13How did Heidi do?
41:15Heidi was fantastic.
41:17And I will tell you that I haven't always been a fan of Heidi.
41:20I haven't always thought that she was professional
41:22nor did she have much class or finesse.
41:25That's very nice.
41:27That's one of the worst compliments I've ever heard.
41:29That's a compliment. I have no class.
41:31But I've been very candid with Heidi, have I not?
41:33Yes, I appreciate that.
41:34But in this instance...
41:35Her edge.
41:36No, I'm not so sure.
41:37Her edge.
41:38That's maybe the worst thing I've heard.
41:39That's the worst thing I've heard. I have a lot of class.
41:41That's the worst thing I think I've ever heard.
41:43That's the worst compliment I've ever heard.
41:44First of all, I have a lot of class.
41:46I have one of the biggest clients in the country.
41:48I have to just tell you...
41:49Well, do you think Omarosa has class?
41:51You know what, in the beginning I didn't think she had a lot of class.
41:53Do you like her now?
41:54I do like her.
41:55You mean after that last statement you like her?
41:57You know what, Mr. Trump?
41:58If somebody said that about me, I wouldn't like her.
42:00I don't care what they do.
42:01Mr. Trump, you know what? She's entitled to her opinion.
42:03I know myself. I have class.
42:04That doesn't mean you have to like her.
42:07Carolyn, what do you think?
42:09Isaac's last name?
42:11Mizrahi.
42:12Yes, exactly.
42:13So you learned that a little too late.
42:14I know, and I am such a peep about my name,
42:17so I was kind of concerned about the reaction.
42:19Well, I just find it odd that you would say that about Jesse
42:21when you mispronounced his name.
42:22Jesse, go ahead.
42:23Omarosa and I were paired up to do Isaac's together.
42:27So...
42:28So what happened?
42:29You were the lead, Jesse.
42:30Basically, I was the lead.
42:31So you take responsibility for your actions.
42:32I was the lead, but...
42:34Do you like Omarosa the way she just talks to you?
42:36I mean, do you like her?
42:37I do like Omarosa.
42:38How can you like her the way she's talking to you?
42:40You know, she's got a very sharp edge.
42:42I mean, she destroyed you with a compliment.
42:44She didn't destroy me.
42:45Well, let me tell you.
42:46She did not destroy me at all.
42:47She wasn't very nice.
42:48She gave you a very negative compliment.
42:49I know.
42:50Maybe the worst compliment I've ever heard.
42:51You know what?
42:52You know what?
42:53I know.
42:54You're wonderful.
42:55You have no class.
42:56It's a terrible thing she said.
42:57Get over it.
42:58I mean, I get it.
42:59And just now, she knocks you,
43:00and you're saying how much you like her.
43:01I mean, either you're not telling the truth
43:02or you're not very bright.
43:03There's something wrong.
43:04The way she just talked to you, Jesse,
43:05I don't know how you can like her personally.
43:08Omarosa, as project manager,
43:10I'm holding you partially responsible,
43:12but pick two people who you feel contributed
43:15to your failure as a team.
43:17You're going to have to make a decision.
43:20I think it's a tough decision.
43:22I think you were very rude to two of the people,
43:24and you were very nice to two of the people.
43:26What's your decision?
43:27Who are the two folks?
43:28The two folks that are going back to the suite
43:30are Kwame and Troy,
43:31and the two that are staying here
43:33are Jesse and Heidi.
43:35You two, Kwame, Troy,
43:37go back up to the suite.
43:39You three, Omarosa, Heidi, and Jesse,
43:42go out, and we'll call you back when we're ready.
43:45Thank you, Mr. Trump.
43:50Be strong.
43:51Oh, I am.
43:52Be strong.
43:53Be strong.
43:57Take care, ladies.
44:20What do you think, George?
44:29Well, I think Omarosa's a tendency to be abrasive
44:33to the point she can be a good leader,
44:34but you've got to know when to call it back
44:36if this is how you're going to handle all your troops.
44:39I do think when it came to Isaac Mizrahi at that point,
44:42she overmatched Jesse with him.
44:45He is quite an individual character,
44:47but that wasn't really a good leadership decision.
44:49The leadership quality is in question.
44:52Well, I think Omarosa may possess
44:55certain leadership qualities.
44:57However, I really didn't see them come out today.
45:01All right, well, I think I have a pretty good idea,
45:04but let me just get him back in here.
45:07Robin, bring him in right now, please.
45:09Okay.
45:10You can go and see Mr. Trump now.
45:20I've got some pretty strong ideas on this one.
45:23Jesse, why should you not be fired?
45:26Because you're choosing someone to represent you,
45:30ultimately, in this.
45:32Of course, it's important to win and to accomplish something,
45:36but it's also their character behind it.
45:38It's very important.
45:40You think these two people have good character?
45:42I think that Heidi has great character.
45:44What about Omarosa?
45:46I think that Heidi has great character.
45:48What about Omarosa?
45:49I like Omarosa very much.
45:51I can't believe that.
45:52You're saying you like her,
45:53and maybe that's a smart thing to do,
45:55but I don't believe you like her,
45:56and I don't believe you can like her
45:57the way she talked to you, either.
45:58Um, no.
45:59Personally, no.
46:00Well, but before you said you did like her.
46:02I didn't.
46:03I had more respect for her after her becoming a PM.
46:05Omarosa, so you're the team leader and you lost.
46:08Why should you not be fired?
46:10Because you're looking for leadership,
46:12and I demonstrated leadership
46:13based on the time frame that I was given
46:15and the tasks that I was given,
46:17as well as the resources that I was given
46:19and the wonderful teammates that I had,
46:21and was able to come away with some great donations.
46:23And then your team didn't do that well.
46:25What do you think, Heidi?
46:26Who would you say should be fired?
46:27You know what?
46:28After being called unclassy and unprofessional,
46:30I'm going to have to go with Omarosa.
46:31I'm very, I would, I wouldn't work for...
46:33You're very insulted.
46:34I wouldn't work for somebody
46:35that called me unclassy and unprofessional.
46:36I wouldn't do it.
46:37Definitely would not do it.
46:38That's character.
46:39I have to respect somebody that I work with,
46:40and I respect her, but after that comment...
46:41But don't forget, you both changed your tune a lot.
46:44You were just saying, oh, you love her.
46:45She's a great, no.
46:46She treated you like a dog.
46:47She's a great personal leader.
46:48She treated you both like dogs.
46:50All right.
46:51It's decision time.
46:52Jessie.
46:53I think you were overly nice to Omarosa,
46:57who treated you terribly.
46:59You know, and I don't love that.
47:00I mean, I think it's more legitimate for you
47:02to fight your team leader
47:03after what I saw in terms of the way she treated you.
47:06I can almost say the same thing for you, Heidi.
47:09I think you're tougher than Jessie.
47:11Maybe you've had more experience than Jessie,
47:13but I do believe you're a little bit tougher,
47:16and I'm not sure that's a bad thing.
47:18Omarosa, you were very rude to these two people.
47:22How they took it is unbelievable to me
47:26because you were rude.
47:27You are rude, and I've seen it.
47:29I've seen it.
47:31But I have to say that worse than your rudeness
47:35was the way Jessie took it.
47:40This is a very tough choice.
47:41Mr. Trump.
47:42Because Omarosa has an attitude, and...
47:45Who do you want representing your company, Mr. Trump?
47:48Well, we're gonna see.
47:49If you got down to character...
47:50Honestly, we're gonna see over the weeks.
47:51I have a great character.
47:52Well, she's almost saying you don't have a great character.
47:54I have a great character.
47:55I do have an edge, but I have a great character.
47:57Please don't fire me, Mr. Trump.
47:59Jessie, you were the worst negotiator.
48:01But worse than that, I hated the way
48:04you took so much crap from Omarosa.
48:08To me, that was a form of weakness.
48:11And I think it's because you're very young.
48:13You're maybe somewhat experienced.
48:14But I don't...
48:15I didn't like what she was doing,
48:17and it was repulsive to me.
48:19But worse was the way you took it.
48:21Please.
48:22I have no choice, and I have to say that you're fired.
48:31So go ahead.
48:32You two, up to the suite.
48:34Down to the street.
48:59Ultimately, I fired Jessie
49:01because she didn't stand up for herself.
49:04You're getting down to the...
49:06to the best, to the pick of the crop.
49:08She was a nice girl, too.
49:09Whatever you do from now on, it's going to be down.
49:11It's going to be trouble.
49:12It's going to be difficult.
49:13It's life.
49:14That's the way it is.
49:15Life is difficult.
49:40For more information, go to NBC.com.
49:43I feel really good
49:45because we raised $35,000
49:48for Elizabeth's Glacier Pediatric Aids Foundation.
49:53So, so happy about that.
49:58I'm so happy.
49:59I'm so happy.
50:00I'm so happy.
50:01I'm so happy.
50:02I'm so happy.
50:03I'm so happy.
50:04I'm so happy.
50:05I'm so happy.
50:06I'm so happy.
50:07I'm so happy.
50:09I'm here right now, and all I can be is happy.
50:14All I can be is happy.
50:16I had a great experience,
50:18and I think true colors about people were really revealed.
