00:00Previously on The Apprentice, the candidates were shocked to see that Sam had returned to the suite and Jason had been fired.
00:08Frustrated with Sam's antics, his team elected him project manager.
00:13You think they maybe made you the team leader too?
00:16That is possible.
00:17Well, you know how that doesn't happen? If you win.
00:19Either he's incredibly brilliant or he's half nuts. And he's hilarious. I love him.
00:24Meanwhile, Protege was having problems of their own.
00:27Shut up!
00:28As tempers flared between Omarosa and Couture.
00:31Life's too short to be a bitch.
00:33At the task delivery, the candidates were asked to prove their negotiating skills.
00:38Today we're going to be discussing negotiation.
00:41While the women of Protege easily bargained for their rights,
00:47the men of Versacor faced some bumpy roads.
00:52As Sam drove his team absolutely crazy.
00:55I'm going to give him the phone number.
00:56I do not want you to give him the phone number.
00:59When the figures were tallied up, the women easily won.
01:04I'm starting to think that I may never hire a man again.
01:08The men went to the boardroom for the third consecutive time.
01:12As project manager, Sam was held partially responsible for the team's loss.
01:16But he blamed Bui and Kwame and selected them to be fired.
01:21I respect everyone at this table. I have not earned the full respect.
01:25Isn't it over, Sam?
01:27I hope not.
01:28I have no choice. You're fired.
01:32Thirteen are left. Who will be fired this week?
01:56Two things, two things, two things, bad things.
02:03Dollar bill, y'all.
02:04Come on.
02:05That deal, oh, deal.
02:09Me bring all my desire.
02:13I don't know that money.
02:17Give me a nickel, brother. Can you wear that?
02:23Money can drive some people out of their mind.
02:28Money, money, money, money.
02:43We were absolutely dying to see which one of the guys was fired.
02:47But every single one of us would have been in complete shock had it not been Sammy.
02:53Always.
02:59Nice greeting to come home. All right.
03:01Sam was a cancer to everyone in this suite.
03:03I think the girls hated him more than any of us ever thought of.
03:08Kwame and Bui walked in the door and they rejoiced like the munchkins in The Wizard of Oz.
03:14Ding dong, the witch is dead. I don't think so.
03:17There are weaker players on this team than Sam.
03:21And I'm pissed.
03:22I would have been embarrassed if I was let go before Sam.
03:26If I'm let go before you guys, I'm OK.
03:28Oh, yeah.
03:29It was a witch hunt to take down Sam.
03:32Despicable.
03:36He'll get his vengeance through me.
03:51Good morning.
03:54Our destination is Times Square.
03:58Troops, all teams need to be ready at 8 a.m.
04:02Destination Times Square.
04:04No further details.
04:15Here he comes.
04:20Here we go, guys.
04:26Hello, folks.
04:27Morning, Mr. Trump.
04:29We're in the middle of Times Square, one of the great landmarks of the world.
04:34Behind me is Planet Hollywood, started by some movie star friends of mine.
04:40It's a massive 50,000 square foot restaurant with over 250 employees.
04:46The women will manage the restaurant tonight, the men tomorrow night.
04:51We're going to determine who made more money compared to the same time last year.
04:57My associates, George and Carolyn, will be keeping a close eye on your progress.
05:03As you know, a lot of business is done on golf courses.
05:07I myself have closed many major deals there.
05:10As a reward, the winning team is going to go to the best golf course in New York State,
05:17Trump National Golf Club.
05:19The losing team, you go to the boardroom.
05:23And you know what the boardroom means.
05:24That means somebody's fired.
05:26Good luck.
05:32The men are a lethal weapon right now because they don't have Sam.
05:37And I'm more scared of them now than I was with Sam.
05:40We cannot lose now.
05:41I mean, if we have to walk back in that boardroom, it is going to be 100% complete embarrassment.
05:49Let's talk about who's going to be Project A.
05:55I nominate Kwame because you displayed some wonderful leadership skills in the advertising campaign.
06:01I'm up for it.
06:02Nick backed away and said he'd prefer not to be leader.
06:05That showed to me a lack of confidence, so I don't think he wanted the pressure.
06:08I back Kwame up.
06:10We have to win.
06:13I nominated Kwame because two out of the three team leaders that have led the past three tasks have been fired.
06:19So I'm expecting for the same thing to happen with Kwame if we lose this task.
06:25I really want to dress sexy and cute.
06:28I own and run a restaurant.
06:30We've decided on Katrina as our project manager.
06:33Katrina and I will work together.
06:35She's still going to be project manager.
06:37But I'll probably be restaurant manager.
06:44I've started to be a little more sensitive to the girls, engage them a little more.
06:49It's making them drop down their guard and be more accepting of me.
06:54They've got the space to handle large crowds, but she's being sweet.
06:58She's being really, really nice.
06:59And I can't say that I think it's sincere.
07:01I think it's part of her strategy.
07:02I think that if you're alienated, you start learning really quick that you can't keep going at that pace and think you're still going to be around.
07:25This is our main dining room right here.
07:27The bar is on the other side of the room.
07:28You want to take a guided tour?
07:30Hold on, let's split up to groups.
07:32Right when we got there, we separated into two groups.
07:35Amy, Erica, and I met with Roland, who's the general manager.
07:39This is the bar area right here.
07:41How much of your business is the bar, right?
07:43One thing sparked our interest right away.
07:45Only 25% of his sales is liquor.
07:48In restaurant terms, liquor is a huge profit margin.
07:51300%.
07:55This is where we need to be.
07:58The girls in there know the product.
08:00We just need to bring them over to those girls.
08:02The biggest problem Planet Hollywood is having is you have 30,000 to 40,000 people walking across the street, but they're not coming in.
08:09There's Omarosa, Tammy, and the three of us.
08:12So our job, we're going to bring them in, not only to focus on the food, but to buy the merchandising.
08:20You guys, come here.
08:22We have a great idea.
08:24Okay, Planet Hollywood Shooter and Shirt Girls.
08:26I have a good idea.
08:28Walk around with shots and t-shirts.
08:30So mark it, meet the Planet Hollywood Shooter Girls.
08:33I love it.
08:35How about we be escorting everyone upstairs?
08:37Let a shooter girl escort you to the top.
08:39Shooter girl escort.
08:41Beautiful.
08:43I cannot wait to get this started.
08:45Extra small.
08:47We modeled our idea of the Shooters Girls after the Hooters Girls.
08:50Hooters is so successful.
08:52Why? Because of the women.
08:54Here we go.
08:57Once you make a deal with someone, it's really important to carry it through.
09:04You start developing the wrong reputation, it makes it impossible to make future deals.
09:10Once you shake hands, that should be it.
09:18Hey guys, come on in today.
09:21We have a special today.
09:23Five dollars off a meal.
09:24T-shirts.
09:26It's on.
09:28Planet Hollywood.
09:30Get your sweatshirts now.
09:33It was confusing to me because no one knew what was going on really.
09:36And then when George tried to corner Katrina, our project manager, to see what was going on.
09:40Because we're passionate.
09:42We're passionate. That's our motto today.
09:44She really couldn't coherently articulate what the plan was because she really was just flying by the seat of her pants.
09:49What do you think? Try it on. Come on in, try it on.
09:51Come on in, try it on.
09:52It's not working.
09:54Planet Hollywood's the best restaurant. T-shirts. People are laughing.
09:57Let's talk about why Erica, what you can do to help us out here.
10:02Erica actually came up with the idea for us to head over to where the tourists pick up their tickets for plays and movies and hand out coupons for the restaurant.
10:13Come with us.
10:15Take orders.
10:17I was like, well, this doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
10:19It's a very slim chance that the coupon will actually come back to the store that evening.
10:30Hi, you guys. We're having a huge party at Planet Hollywood tonight.
10:33No cover, $5 off the drinks, $5 off the food. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
10:37There's drafts for $12.
10:39And you get to meet the Shooters girls.
10:41Meet who?
10:43The Shooters girls.
10:45It's a tougher job than I expected because the crowds here are used to getting coupons.
10:47So we don't know how well that's working.
10:50Come to Planet Hollywood tonight.
10:52Planet Hollywood.
10:54What time do you guys get off work?
10:56They're off now.
10:58How many are there?
11:002,000 of you?
11:02We'll hook you up.
11:04How do we go in the night?
11:06Not tomorrow.
11:08Do not go to Planet Hollywood tomorrow.
11:10Only tonight.
11:12Because tomorrow it's closed.
11:14I feel like I'm pimping it out.
11:19They're pulling apart the seams.
11:21It's a high pressure business.
11:23I don't think they're going to be able to handle it.
11:25Can't stand the heat.
11:27Get out of the kitchen, baby.
11:29After the girls had left to go on their task...
11:31Oh!
11:33We did a lot of team bonding.
11:35We did a little bit of basketball.
11:37And then we pulled out Donald Trump the game.
11:40Open the bidding.
11:43Force a sale of any property.
11:45I will take 40% ownership of the hotel and the casino,
11:48give you 60% ownership.
11:50Never, never give up ownership.
11:52We're playing the game and Bill decides
11:54to pipe in on my negotiations.
11:56You never give up ownership.
11:58That's the first rule in real estate.
12:00No, I'm keeping mine.
12:02Therefore, I said, okay, I'll pipe up
12:04when he's negotiating.
12:06What you got for me?
12:08That sports complex does you no good.
12:10What kind of car is that?
12:12Never give up ownership.
12:13You started the phase.
12:15Stop if you'll stop.
12:17Shake on it.
12:19Bill stood up and he says,
12:21let's make a handshake on it.
12:23Let's not talk while the other person's negotiating.
12:25I pay out everything that makes money.
12:27I get 30% of it.
12:29But you can sell it in sandbags.
12:31What happened to the handshake?
12:33You can't back up your handshake.
12:35I was trying to help you out.
12:37Bottom line, if I have to work with Bill, I will.
12:39But Bill broke the handshake deal.
12:41Bill's a snake.
12:43This is our new waiting area.
12:45I'm just setting it all up.
12:47Isn't this a good idea?
12:49When the girls got back from Times Square,
12:51I was bringing tables downstairs.
12:54Yeah, actually, right here is our fast service
12:56for appetizers.
12:58Right here?
13:00But I could tell Katrina was irritated
13:02that maybe I went ahead and did something
13:04and didn't consult the group.
13:06Come on right over.
13:08Jess, they want to go upstairs.
13:10Would you like to go all the way up?
13:11Have a great dinner.
13:13The tables downstairs weren't being effective.
13:15So I poached Jessie and I said,
13:17shut it down.
13:19And she took great offense to that.
13:21Well, if you want to change it,
13:23you're the leader, so you tell me.
13:25You're obviously getting mad
13:27that I'm thinking on my own.
13:29No, I'm not getting mad at you.
13:31All I'm saying is I've been told four times
13:33that this is a bad idea.
13:35Why are you spazzing out?
13:37I'm upset because you're upset.
13:39I'm not upset at anything.
13:41You're working right,
13:43and then you're just trying to find fault
13:45so that you have something to blame it on.
13:47I think Jessie was upset
13:49because she wasn't leading.
13:51And that saddens me
13:53because I was more supportive
13:55when she was the leader.
13:57When all of us try to work as a team
13:59and I feel like one person
14:01doesn't really agree with what we're doing,
14:03that's what frustrated me from the beginning.
14:05But I think all of our ideas
14:07that we came up with were all the same.
14:09With the last three tasks,
14:11I don't know.
14:13Why go to a show
14:16when you can come to Planet Hollywood?
14:19You can hear me sing it now.
14:22Five beers for $15.
14:25Right now it says retail,
14:27net sales, $18.
14:29That's for retail.
14:31No, no, no.
14:33This is from the entire day
14:35since the moment we opened.
14:37Last year we did about $3,300,
14:39but we've only made $200
14:41and that's not good.
14:43Based on last year's sales for retail,
14:45they're not good.
14:47Cross your fingers.
14:57We're going to do some shots.
14:59One, two, three, cheers.
15:01It's Alabama Slammers.
15:03We're easy.
15:05I mean, I'm a girl
15:07and I can do about 10 of them.
15:09We need the money
15:11for 25 minutes to sell it.
15:13I can sell $20 in shots
15:15for three minutes.
15:17One, two, cheers.
15:19Cheers.
15:21Another round, baby.
15:23Heidi was the all-star queen
15:25of selling shots.
15:27If I owned a bar,
15:29that woman would be on every night
15:31selling everything I had.
15:33You guys can drink.
15:35You can handle it.
15:37I've done like three shots already.
15:38You can do it.
15:40All right.
15:42All right, guys.
15:46People were buying rounds of shots.
15:49This one guy bought
15:51an entire tray of shooters.
15:53Just for you.
15:55That's a lot of shots.
15:57Ready?
16:00There was a group of men
16:02that bought us shots
16:04and at that point,
16:06we let it all go.
16:08One, two, cheers.
16:11To a good night.
16:13Wait, wait, wait. One more.
16:15I didn't do that one yet.
16:17I'm really out of control.
16:19You can hold it. You're a big guy.
16:21Am I not a big guy?
16:23You must be the kicker
16:25on the football team, no?
16:27I could tell the managers
16:29were a little uncomfortable.
16:31This is not traditionally
16:33what they do.
16:35Zero drinking when we're on shift.
16:36We've got to be careful.
16:38We're liable for whatever
16:40happens to these people
16:42when they leave this building.
16:44If they leave a drink
16:46and they pass out on the street,
16:48then it's going to be our asses.
16:50Ladies and gentlemen,
16:52this is last call.
16:54This is 200.
16:56I think that we were
16:58successful with the shots,
17:00but that was probably
17:02only about a tenth
17:04of the revenues
17:06that we made.
17:15You haven't seen much from me,
17:17but I'm waiting,
17:19waiting patiently,
17:21sitting in the wings,
17:23watching others take the lead.
17:25These people will eliminate
17:27themselves one by one.
17:29Good morning, how are you?
17:31Good morning, how are you?
17:33Oh, very tired.
17:34I should be...
17:36Yeah, right now.
17:43The bottom line is
17:45if we win, great,
17:47I'll go play some golf.
17:49If we don't,
17:51we'll be back in the boardroom.
17:53I'm feeling quite comfortable.
17:59Today we're running
18:01Planet Hollywood for a day.
18:02We've got to deliver a victory.
18:04I mean, this may be
18:06the last chance for the men
18:08to chalk up a win.
18:10Nice to meet you.
18:12Troy, nice to meet you.
18:14So it's on the line
18:16and we're going to try to do it.
18:18It would be 25,000.
18:20It would be a great night.
18:22We need to have as many people
18:24kind of on the front lines
18:26as possible,
18:28just a skeleton crew
18:30on the interior.
18:32Street team activities soon.
18:34You going up?
18:36Good stuff.
18:38And then Bui's working
18:40the merchandise counter
18:42as well as the front door
18:44greeting people.
18:46Come on in to Planet Hollywood.
18:48Food, drinks, souvenirs,
18:50what more do you need
18:52from Times Square?
18:54And then Bill is basically
18:56meeting with the staff
18:58going over the incentive
19:00program we have
19:02so what do you guys think?
19:04You think we can make this happen?
19:11How are you guys?
19:13We're having a pretty big
19:14shindig going on one day only.
19:16We're going to have some
19:17drink specials,
19:18we're going to have
19:19some food specials.
19:20Do you have a drink
19:21with you now?
19:22You want a drink right now?
19:23Let me see what I can do
19:24to get on the phone.
19:25What kind of drink do you want?
19:26A vodka and grapefruit juice.
19:27Bui, this is Troy.
19:28Bui, this is Troy.
19:29I need to get a drink order.
19:30I need a vodka
19:31and a grapefruit juice.
19:32Two, yeah.
19:33Two?
19:34Alright, hold on.
19:35Hey Troy, no you can't
19:36take alcohol outside
19:37of a restaurant
19:38so you can do other stuff
19:39but you can't serve
19:40alcoholic drinks outside.
19:41You want T-shirts and stuff?
19:43I'm with the street team
19:44at Planet Hollywood.
19:45We just want to make
19:46an announcement real quick
19:47that there's a big party.
19:48Go ahead, go ahead.
19:49Do it right up here?
19:50Go downstairs
19:51because everybody's upstairs.
19:52Welcome ladies and gentlemen
19:53to New York City.
19:54Let's go ahead and start
19:55boarding on the bus
19:56and get everything ready.

20:16This is big.
20:17This is big.
20:18How can y'all
20:19pass up this space?
20:20I mean, you passed it up.
20:21Come on,
20:22help a redhead out, man.
20:23Here's to the happy couple.
20:24She needs a drink, man.
20:25Bring her upstairs
20:26with some specials.
20:27She's my sister.
20:28Uh oh.
20:30I'm not a redhead.
20:33Man, it feels real crazy.
20:34But hey,
20:35I love it right now.
20:36I'm out there heckling people,
20:37charming them,
20:38trying to just yell
20:39and get their attention
20:40and bring them in the door.
20:47They're just not getting
20:48enough people up here.
20:49They're just handing out
20:50flyers and yelling,
20:51come into Planet Hollywood.
20:52I think Donald Trump
20:53would have a heart attack
20:54if he saw that happening.
20:56Numbers?
20:57Retail?
20:58$150 last hour.
20:59$150?
21:00Yeah.
21:01Oh my God.
21:02It's not good.
21:03Bowie was going to handle
21:04the merchandise.
21:05Selling to patrons
21:06and working the floor up here
21:07to try to push the glassware
21:08and the sweatshirts
21:09and the t-shirts.
21:10Merchandise is killing us.
21:11Merchandise,
21:12we're down half.
21:14Ladies,
21:15would y'all like a picture
21:16to remember
21:17y'all's experience tonight?
21:18That's okay.
21:19We don't want to remember
21:20this night
21:21because we're working.
21:23No, it's alright.
21:24Okay, thank y'all.
21:25Would y'all like us
21:26to get a picture of y'all
21:27remembering y'all's experience?
21:28We've got keychains for six.
21:29You know what he said?
21:30And clothes for eight.
21:32We need to step it up.
21:33What do we have?
21:34We're at about $5,000.
21:36For the day?
21:37For the day.
21:38We're a four o'clock shift now.
21:39I'm going to officially
21:40hit the five o'clock.
21:41Yeah.
21:42We got to make some...
21:44We're improving,
21:45but we're still not
21:46where we need to be.
21:47We need to be at about
21:48$3,000 an hour,
21:49so we need some magic
21:50to happen here real quick.
21:53I mean,
21:54we need to get more people
21:55in there, bottom line.
21:56We've got enough people
21:57in the house.
21:58It's time to do
21:59something drastic.
22:00Right now,
22:01we need to be hopping.
22:02We need to be popping
22:03like a frog on a hot plate.
22:05Mama, what you got to do
22:06is we got to figure out
22:07a way to create a buzz.
22:08We got to get it working.
22:22We're going out for
22:23two reasons.
22:24One, because we deserve it.
22:27You're an awesome mom.
22:29All right, ladies.
22:30Blitz!
22:31Jesus wins!
22:33Go for boy salute!
22:35Oh my gosh!
22:38All right, guys,
22:39so what do you think
22:40the boys are doing right now?
22:41Yelling.
22:42Yeah, boys out yelling.
22:43And I bet Kwame is like,
22:44in my MBA class,
22:46we came up with a case study
22:47for something like this.
22:49In analyzing numbers,
22:50I'm really trying to implement
22:51a very sophisticated
22:52strategy and system.
22:54Yes!
22:56Here we go,
22:57Kwame Jackson.
22:59Ladies and gentlemen,
23:00I got free autographs
23:01for Kwame Jackson.
23:02I got New York native,
23:03Wall Street's finest.
23:04After a while of just doing
23:05the $5 off and realizing
23:07we weren't getting
23:08the buzz going in,
23:09I came up with
23:10the creative spark of genius.
23:12One, two, three.
23:13There it is.
23:15Get an autograph
23:16from Kwame Jackson.
23:17Who's Kwame Jackson?
23:19He's New York, man,
23:20and he works on Wall Street.
23:22That's who Kwame Jackson is.
23:23Come on now,
23:24get your autograph,
23:25Kwame Jackson.
23:26Kwame Jackson,
23:27get your autograph.
23:28What's up, man?
23:29People come to me
23:30and hopefully think
23:31that I'm worth
23:32giving an autograph,
23:33and then they come
23:34into the restaurant
23:35and they look at their
23:36$5 off card and hopefully
23:37use it in the restaurant.
23:39B?
23:41We were doing great with it.
23:43Hell, he even started
23:44selling merchandise
23:45signing Kwame Jackson.
23:47That's $12 for the basketball
23:49and $5 for the baseball.
23:50Am I still signing
23:51something for your son?
23:52He goes toward
23:53any sort of charity.
23:54Just playing it out, isn't he?
23:55He's here tonight only
23:56to autograph Kwame Jackson.
23:57What's up?
23:58They look like
23:59shiny water.
24:01I'm following you, Bill,
24:02because I'm not going
24:03to be part of that.
24:04At the present moment,
24:05I am thoroughly embarrassed
24:06at what some of them
24:07have stooped to
24:08to selling balls
24:09and misleading people
24:10to think that Kwame Jackson
24:12is some type
24:13of sports hero.
24:16All right, that's great.
24:18You just pay $7
24:19to register, great.
24:20I'll explain to Mr. Trump
24:21that I don't do
24:22business like that.
24:23If it's turned into
24:24a circus like this,
24:25then, you know,
24:26he might as well fire me.
24:27Drink specials
24:28at Planet Hollywood.
24:29Half-price drink specials
24:30at Planet Hollywood.
24:31I haven't really been
24:32with Nick all day,
24:33but he's just kind of
24:34checked out on this task.
24:35And for someone
24:36to check out on a task
24:37is more than a landmine.
24:38It's, you know,
24:39a hole in the ship.
24:40Happy hour prices
24:41to the Planet Hollywood.
24:43This is stupid.
24:47She gave me a number
24:48for last hour sales.
24:50Now, when I add it up,
24:51I came up
24:52with a large number.
24:53We got a pretty full
24:54restaurant going right now,
24:55so I'm hoping that
24:56once these checks close out,
24:57we're going to be
24:58in the neighborhood
24:59where we need to be
25:00for victory.
25:01We got 14 minutes?
25:02Yeah.
25:03All right, we're getting close.
25:04We got 14 minutes
25:05to get people in
25:06to order dinner still.
25:07We got a lot of open checks,
25:08so I think we got to...
25:09Bill looked like
25:10the project manager,
25:11not Kwame.
25:12Without a doubt,
25:13I think Bill picked up
25:14the slack completely.
25:15Let's get these guys
25:16in here for dinner.
25:17The kitchen's still open.
25:18Let everyone know.
25:20So we all move inside,
25:21and we start
25:22working the crowd.
25:23Yeah!
25:24Four Jaeger Red Bulls!
25:26Playing cards,
25:27golf balls,
25:28basketball.
25:29I got a dessert tray coming.
25:30I'm going to have you
25:31go table to table.
25:32I'll sign one for you,
25:33$12.
25:34Pepperoni pizza.
25:35It's not Andrea's table.
25:36Jason Russo,
25:37we need a pepperoni pizza
25:38for your table up there.
25:39Six bucks.
25:40I think we're going
25:41to be all right.
25:42I think we're going
25:43to come real...
25:44I mean, it's going
25:45to be damn close.
25:46We don't know
25:47if we hit the hole in one.
25:48It's going to be
25:49a photo finish.
25:50Last call, everybody!
25:51Last call in the bar!
26:03Running that restaurant
26:04was the hardest thing
26:05I've ever done.
26:07But golfing will be fun.
26:09We're not going
26:10to be in the boardroom.
26:13I'm feeling fantastic.
26:14I'm feeling absolutely great.
26:15I'm looking forward to it.
26:17GT, I'm coming
26:18to play on your course.
26:37All right, folks.
26:38I received some very
26:39interesting reports
26:40from Planet Hollywood.
26:42Let's start with the men.
26:43What's going on, Caroline?
26:45Last year's revenue
26:46was $13,168.
26:49This year they did $14,069,
26:52a 6.8% increase.
26:55George, how did the women do?
26:57Last year's revenue
26:58was $12,592.
27:00This year's revenue
27:01was $16,537,
27:04which represents an increase
27:06of 31.3% over last year.
27:08I think that's pretty good.
27:10I think that's pretty amazing.
27:12Again, again,
27:14the men are taking a beating
27:16at what happened.
27:17I mean, what's going on?
27:18The women focused
27:19more on the bar,
27:20the biggest dollars.
27:21They spent way more time
27:22inside the restaurant
27:23selling drinks and merchandise
27:24rather than hawking
27:25$5 coupons outside.
27:27Both the bar
27:28and lack of merchandising
27:29hurt you quite a bit.
27:30Because there was
27:31this happy hour,
27:32trying to generate people
27:33to get up there,
27:34but then there was
27:35nothing that happened there.
27:36Well, for a great reward,
27:38the women are going up
27:39to what a lot of people
27:41consider the best golf course
27:43anywhere in the state
27:44of New York,
27:45Trump National.
27:46And you're going
27:47to have a lot of fun.
27:50The men,
27:51you're going to your suite,
27:52and I'm going to see you
27:53at the boardroom
27:54in a little while.
27:55Someone is getting fired.
28:13As a team leader,
28:14I'm not going to do
28:15any speeches.
28:16I think everybody knows
28:17what they did
28:18and how much weight
28:19they pulled,
28:20and we'll go from there.
28:22I think the mood
28:23in the house right now
28:24is mainly just shock.
28:25Everyone's kind of going,
28:26what the hell just happened?
28:28How did we lose that again?
28:30Remember that time
28:31when your dog got run over
28:32and your little kid?
28:33That's how I feel right now.
28:34I feel like a pet
28:35was just killed.
28:43There's a lot of business deals
28:57done on the golf course.
28:59Not that people are really
29:01talking about business so much,
29:02but it's really
29:03a social sport,
29:04and the more you get
29:05to know a person,
29:06the higher the probability
29:07you're in close deals
29:08because people do business
29:09with people that they like.
29:10they like.
29:11Oh!
29:12I don't know how to do golf.
29:14I can't fake it.
29:15I don't like golf.
29:16To be honest with you, I'd rather watch a football game.
29:20We spent about 30 minutes at the driving range, and then we headed out to the 13th hole, which
29:25had a waterfall and is absolutely breathtaking.
29:29Thank you very much.
29:38Hello folks.
29:39Hi.
29:40You know, I've had something on my mind, and I really want to talk to you about it.
29:43So let's go into Carolyn's office, okay?
29:45When Mr. Trump said, I need to talk with you all, I didn't know what to expect.
29:51Now, I don't want to ruin your day of Golf at Trump National, but I have something to
29:56say.
29:57You are smart, dynamic, and attractive women.
30:00You beat the guys fair and square, but you're coming a little close to crossing the line,
30:06relying on your sexuality to win.
30:08Well, it's unnecessary.
30:10Carolyn?
30:11Things like that aren't going to get you the job here.
30:14I want to know that one of you may be president of one of his companies.
30:19Anyway, good luck.
30:29Good morning.
30:30Hello.
30:31Hey.
30:32How are you?
30:33So golf course was nice?
30:34You know what we got lead into today, about the sexuality thing?
30:37They actually had to say to us, too much sex, and that's embarrassing.
30:42I mean, if being attractive is wrong, then we did something wrong.
30:48We had this situation where I came up with an idea that I'm going to tell everybody,
30:51get your autograph from Kwame Jackson.
30:52They asked who he was.
30:53I said, he's from New York City, and he works on Wall Street.
30:56That was all I said.
30:57And this kid bought this ball, and he thinks he's got an NBA player's autograph.
31:01Who said NBA?
31:03Was it borderline great?
31:04You know it, and I know what it was.
31:05Nobody said it was great.
31:06Wait a second.
31:07I did nothing wrong.
31:08Someone asked me who I was.
31:10I said, it's Kwame Jackson from Charlotte, North Carolina.
31:12So I'm not going out.
31:14His father makes $5 an hour.
31:16Yeah.
31:17His father had to work two hours to get that ball.
31:19I didn't sell a kid crack.
31:20Wow.
31:21Discussion's over.
31:22It's not over, Nick.
31:23You're walking away in the middle of this game.
31:25Your grandstanding like Sammy.
31:26I don't mind being back in that boardroom.
31:29I guarantee you, Kwame's going to bring me in there.
31:31But I've formulated a wonderful defense if that happens.
31:35If that happens.
31:40We're going to get a brow beaten tonight.
31:41We've eliminated half of our team.
31:43What happened, though, is we've been kicked in the *** so many times that we're just disarrayed.
31:48And we're making stupid mistakes.
31:51Today is a very somber mood in the loft among the men.
31:55We're going to face the boardroom again tonight.
31:58Kwame's going to have to pick two guys to bring into the boardroom session with him this evening.
32:02I think I can go up, and I think of another one that should go up.
32:05Oh, well, there's always one obvious.
32:08Nick was not motivated for this one.
32:10He faded and just failed at the very end.
32:12I think this one's going to get pinned on Nick, and I think it should get pinned on Nick.
32:15You know, merchandise didn't do better, but I bet you I did better than the girls did last time.
32:19But we took responsibility for merchandising, and there was definitely a failure in the plan
32:24because we did not capitalize on the merchandising.
32:27They're going to eat me alive.
32:29Who knows?
32:30We just got our *** kicked.
32:31That's all that happened.
32:33If I was project manager and I was taking someone else up, I'd take Kwame up.
32:36I don't think he did a great job of leading.
32:38There was really no one in charge of the bar, and I think that was an error there.
33:01Okay.
33:15Okay, fellas.
33:16So, what happened?
33:19As team leader, first of all, excuses don't explain and explanations don't excuse,
33:23so I'm not here to offer any today.
33:25Where it seems like we got beat was at the bar.
33:27With being outnumbered five to eight,
33:28we weren't able to assign more resources to help build in the restaurant itself.
33:32So, that's where we got beat, and I think it was really because of numbers,
33:35and I think we executed our strategy well.
33:37I got the feeling from all of you.
33:39All you're trying to do is protect your ***.
33:41You weren't really looking at whether you were going to win this one.
33:44You didn't have the manpower.
33:45Work harder.
33:46Move faster.
33:47When the women were there, everybody was smiling.
33:49Nick, you looked like you were dying out on the street and said,
33:52what am I doing here?
33:53I disagree with that 100%.
33:55I was happy.
33:56I was upbeat.
33:58You brought a significant amount of traffic in that day,
34:01especially through a younger crowd, mid-20s, late-20s.
34:04Let me ask you something.
34:05How many coupons were redeemed?
34:06It wasn't a ton.
34:08Okay, you're five very intelligent people,
34:10and three of you were busy giving $5 coupons,
34:13instead of being in the operation, seeing what could improve the operation.
34:17Like increasing your bar and merchandise sales.
34:19Take your seed money and hire somebody.
34:21That's why you see people walking around with those big placards,
34:24giving cards away, because management's not going to do it.
34:26They're too busy.
34:27Bill, who do you think did the worst job in the group?
34:29I was inside the restaurant the entire night.
34:32I did not have a pulse on what was going on out there,
34:34so for me to make a decision like that, it's not fair.
34:38Who do you think, Nick?
34:39Who blew it?
34:40Kwame.
34:41Why?
34:42There was a tactic that was used later on in the evening that I didn't agree with,
34:46and that's what I'm basing this decision on,
34:48about one of the sales tactics to get people in the restaurant.
34:51What was the sales tactic that you didn't agree with?
34:53They had a table, basketballs.
34:56It was kind of like he was a celebrity.
34:58Get your autograph, signed autograph by Kwame Jackson.
35:01I just thought it was misleading.
35:03All right, Troy, what's the answer?
35:05Well, I would have to absolutely say Nick.
35:07I didn't feel the smile and the enthusiasm off of Nick.
35:10I think Nick does wonderful, but he was disappointed yesterday.
35:13All right, Bowie, who?
35:14I hate to say this, but I truly think operating the worst,
35:17I would have to say Nick.
35:18Nick was doing great early on, and then he lost it.
35:21He lost his motivation, and it dropped away,
35:23and I'm a big fan of staying positive all the time.
35:26This is a little discouraging to see members of my team behaving in a way
35:30that I would never do something like that.
35:32Like who?
35:33Kwame and Troy with that whole sales play.
35:35That'll deflate anybody.
35:36How can I stay upbeat when that's going on?
35:39What about when that little kid who just spent 12 bucks on a ball
35:41goes home in the Internet and looks up Kwame Jackson and doesn't see anything?
35:45It was the same idea of capitalizing, like the women capitalizing on their sexuality.
35:49I had some balls, and basically I signed them,
35:51and I never told anybody I played a sport that I was in any team.
35:54I said, I'm Kwame Jackson from Charlotte, North Carolina.
35:56That was it?
35:57What happened?
35:58You lost.
35:59What happened?
36:00We lost.
36:01We lost.
36:02Obviously, there were some areas of opportunity that we could have improved upon,
36:05but since Troy took the lead, the end result was a loss.
36:08Now, Kwame, you're the team leader.
36:11Who are the two people that you think did not do a good job?
36:15I think Nick because he just checked out of the game,
36:17and that disappointed me.
36:18A tougher choice is to say Bowie because if I look at Troy as an A-plus effort
36:23in terms of his creative ideas and his energy on the street,
36:25and I look at Bill in terms of his A-plus effort
36:28and his ability to manage the restaurant all by himself,
36:30I have to say that Bowie, relative to those two A-pluses,
36:33wasn't A but underperformed.
36:35And so that's why I have to say Bowie and Nick.
36:37All right.
36:38Then Troy and Bill, you go up to the suite,
36:41and Kwame, Bowie, and Nick,
36:42you three guys go outside,
36:44and we'll call you back in a minute.
36:46Thank you, Mr. Trump.
37:16I hate to lose Nick.
37:17He is not a team player.
37:18I tend to agree with you, George,
37:20where I don't like the fact that he's taken himself out of the game,
37:23and whenever something doesn't go his way,
37:25he just removes himself.
37:26But you could make the case that Kwame did a lousy job as the captain.
37:30Yet I still think Kwame's got a lot of leadership qualities,
37:33and I wouldn't like to see him go.
37:35What about letting go of Bowie?
37:36He's very energetic, enthusiastic.
37:39But he was in charge of merchandising,
37:41and that was a total failure.
37:43It's a tough choice.
37:44It's a tough call.
37:45Let's just talk to him.
37:47Robin.
37:48Let him in.
37:49Okay.
37:50You can come in now, guys.
38:05Kwame, as the team leader,
38:06why wouldn't you be fired tonight?
38:09Why wouldn't I be fired as a team leader?
38:11Why wouldn't I be fired as a team leader?
38:13Because if I had to judge my performance relative to Nick's,
38:15I think that I outperformed.
38:17May I speak, Mr. Trouble?
38:19I would argue that they're trying to eliminate me.
38:23They're trying to eliminate me.
38:25If we're just...
38:26Okay, go ahead.
38:27I believe I'm the strongest here,
38:28and I am a born leader.
38:30Now, yesterday was a bit embarrassing.
38:32I'm not going to participate in shenanigans like that.
38:35Were you in favor of it or not?
38:37At first, no, I wasn't in favor of it.
38:39If you ever want to say if I was 100% in favor of it,
38:41no, I was not.
38:42But at the end, you were very much in favor of it.
38:44Not very much.
38:45Some, but I was not...
38:46I was promoting the happy hour,
38:47because I knew that's what was bringing us forward.
38:49So you were teetering a little bit.
38:50That's right, I was teetering.
38:51I was walking the gray line.
38:53This is a very, very tough choice.
38:56There's no clear-cut decision here.
38:59Kwame, you did a lousy job in leading.
39:01The women beat you up.
39:03You made some questionable ethical decisions.
39:06But I really believe you have a lot of potential.
39:10So you live for another week, and we'll see.
39:13You, Bowie,
39:16really have shown a lot.
39:20I'll be honest.
39:21But you failed miserably in merchandising
39:24at Planet Hollywood.
39:25Nick, you gave up on your team,
39:27but at times, you've shown great potential.
39:30I would love to see you lead next week.
39:33And therefore, Bowie,
39:34I have to say you're fired.
39:42Go ahead.
39:46Thank you, Colin.
39:47Thanks, George.
39:59Best of luck, Bowie.
40:01Yeah.
40:02Bowie is somebody I really like.
40:05I just don't know that Bowie presented himself very well.
40:09This was tough.
40:10That was a tough decision.
40:11This was tough.
40:12It's only gonna get tougher.
40:13But hopefully we made the right decision.
40:32Next Thursday,
40:33an all-new Apprentice.
40:35It's been another humiliating week for the men.
40:38The women cannot be stopped.
40:40So there's only one thing left to do.
40:44Drop the bomb.
40:45Drop the bomb.
40:46Drop the bomb.
40:47Drop the bomb.
40:48Drop the bomb.
40:49Drop the bomb.
40:50Drop the bomb.
40:51Drop the bomb.
40:52Drop the bomb.
40:53Drop the bomb.
40:54Drop the bomb.
40:55Drop the bomb.
40:56Drop the bomb.
40:57Drop the bomb.
40:58Drop the bomb.
40:59Drop the bomb.
41:00Drop the bomb.
41:01Drop the bomb.
41:02We're gonna do what we call in business a corporate reshuffle.
41:06The sexes will be mixed.
41:08Good luck.
41:09Two new teams.
41:10One new task.
41:11Who can make the most money out of a thousand bucks?
41:14We'll even sell the tablecloth if people want to buy it.
41:17All leading to a serious betrayal that will even shock the Donald.
41:21You know, I don't get it.
41:23And the only thing more surprising than which team loses
41:26is who's going home.
41:28You're fired.
41:29You're fired.
41:30An all-new Apprentice, NBC next Thursday.
41:34The R is coming up next on NBC.
41:37I really wish I could have won a reward.
41:40Getting shut out by the girls four in a row,
41:43that really makes it a bad experience.
41:45But if the guys lose the next four,
41:47then I'm really glad I went this week
41:49and I didn't go four weeks from now
41:51because then you're an eight-time loser.
41:53Right now we've just lost four times in a row.
41:55No matter what happens with all these other people,
41:57we're all going through the same experiences.
41:59Mr. Trump, thank you for all your time.
42:01Thank you for all your experience.
42:03It's been great.
42:04And I look forward to hopefully working with you one day.
42:06Thanks and have a good one.
42:07Bye.
