00:39Mouhaha had been leased in the southwest with Arade Fon for two years and my partner Michel
00:46Zerolo loved the horse and we made an offer to Shadwell to purchase half of him.
00:55Mouhaha just arrived and it's already a success, produced group one winners.
01:00I think he has 22 stakes performers.
01:04He was a precocious two-year-old because he won in May of his two-year-old year.
01:09Then he won the Jim Crack so he was a good two-year-old but improved at three and those
01:16consecutive wins with a lot of ease made him a champion sprinter and he was a favorite
01:22of his owner, Sheik Hamtam Al Maktoum, a great breeder.
01:26He didn't convince totally the English breeders because they thought his progeny was not precocious
01:33enough.
01:34In fact, they take a little time to come but they are very durable, very resistant.
01:39They have won all over the world, France, England, Ireland, United States, everywhere
01:46and he is a very versatile sire.
01:48They can win from six furlongs to a mile and a half.
01:51Mouhaha is a very refined horse.
01:55He doesn't have the physique of a sprinter, quite lengthy like his sire, Oasis Dream,
02:02and interestingly, he has an inbreeding on both Leifahr and Mill Reef, who are two real
02:08champions of their time, who are the two grand sires of the dam of Oasis Dream.
02:14Mouhaha traces back to Pugnacity, one of the top class mares of the major holiday breeding
02:21operation.
02:22Pugnacity was a dam of Relquino, who was a champion horse in England, and by Relco, and
02:29you find again that Relco blood in Linamix.
02:33Mouhaha is already attracting some top class breeders and he will have a very full book.
02:39He will be used by plenty of French breeders and international breeders, including Henri
02:44Bozot from Aradais-Monceau, or Guy Pariante, also Jean-Claude Séroule, who is racing all
02:52his stock.
02:53He will also be supported by Shadwell, obviously, who will send a full sister to the champion
03:00mare Tagrouda.
03:01We have also a good group of shareholders.
03:04We've got the Dubois family, who will support him a lot.
03:08They have bred already some very good horses this year and in the past, like Sauternes
03:12or Les Princesses.
03:14We also got Aradais-Saint-Père, a very good breeder here in France.
03:18We also got Peter Cavanaugh from Kildare-Stade, and obviously we have Aras de Capucines, who
03:23will support him a lot with some of our best mares, two 130 mares, but we still have some
03:29nominations to sell breeder, so we hope that will be a success.
