00:00I believe onshore is one of the most exciting broodmare offerings we've had the privilege
00:21to sell at Fasig-Tipton in my lifetime here at Fasig-Tipton.
00:26So you've got an amazing Juddmont family.
00:29She's in foal to Wooten Bassett who's a very, very, very influential and a rising star in
00:35the European stallion rank.
00:37Oh, and by the way, she's produced a grade one winner and Onesta who's demonstrated tremendous
00:43ability on the racetrack.
00:44It's a privilege to be able to offer a mare like onshore, you know, you're nine years
00:49old and damn if a French classic win your second foal, it's pretty remarkable.
00:53We went to Tattersalls to buy some mares and she sort of fit the bill for what we were
00:59looking for, which was like a great bred pedigree in foal to the right horse.
01:05And Frankel was young at the time, but I was a huge fan of his and she fell in my price
01:10range and I thought, you know what, we'll take a run and it worked out.
01:14And then we love the foal so much that we sent her back to Frankel and then obviously
01:20onshore produced Onesta with that cover there.
01:24Anybody that's watched Onesta run has to be very, very, very impressed by his turn of
01:28foot.
01:29He's explosive when he makes his move.
01:32The turn of foot that he demonstrated in a grade one Grand Prix de Paris was breathtaking.
01:38We were watching it live and on the big conference room TV and you know, once he got into the
01:43home stretch and he started going by horses, we just kept screaming his name Onesta, Onesta,
01:50you know, and you know, when we're jumping up and down, high-fiving, hugging, you know,
01:53the phone starts beeping immediately and they're trying to respond to everybody.
01:57No, I don't know that we were planning on group one winners.
02:00I think we were looking for sales success, racing success.
02:04To have this kind of success this quickly was obviously not what we had planned.
02:11She's really the first big time horse for us to sell back to the market and there's
02:16a soft spot in my heart for her and part of me doesn't want to sell her, but the other
02:20part of me knows that it's the right financial decision and one that could provide more and
02:24more capital for us to go back to the market and buy.
02:28Onshore is a really unique offering because she comes from an amazing judgment family
02:32anchored by Hasili who, she threw five grand winners herself and two other grade six winners
02:36and then Dan Silly.
02:38So for her to throw a grade one winner in her second full, to have five daughters working
02:42for her going forward, it's pretty awesome.
02:44You get the whole package there.
02:47I think Onshore has truly international appeal.
02:51I think she's a collector pedigree.
02:53I think that she's got the ability to produce exceptional foals and exceptional racehorses
02:58for buyers around the world.
03:00They'd be in full to Wooden Basset who's off to a remarkable start and everyone's so excited
03:04about, you know, even as a breeder ourselves, we bred a bunch of Mairstorm this year.
03:08So I think this isn't a, you know, a timepiece offering for anyone.
03:12It's, you know, she could be the cornerstone of any breeder band where she goes.
03:15Yeah.
03:16Sitting in the ring and night of the stars, Onshore enters the ring, I mean, butterflies,
03:22anxiety, all kinds of, I'll probably hold my breath.
03:24It will be, I don't know, maybe the greatest moment for Diamond Creek so far in thoroughbreds.
03:32She has pedigree.
03:33She's already produced the race record and she has a sales record behind her.
03:38So this mare could go anywhere and be at a standout.
03:41So it's kind of exciting to see who shows up.
