00:00Good night to all of us special, to all of us at Fasig-Tipton.
00:20It's always a thrill when you see a yearling sales graduate like her go on to perform the
00:25way that she's performed at the highest levels.
00:28I think that she kind of epitomizes everything you're looking for in a racehorse.
00:32She's got brilliance, she's got pedigree, she's got confirmation, she's the complete package.
00:39So Fasig-October has been a really good sale to our team.
00:43We found a lot of really nice horses there, but this filly's pedigree really stood out.
00:48And when I saw her, she was just very athletic, bred by Stone Street, one of the best breeders
00:53in the country.
00:54With Good Night Olive, right away when I saw her and she came into the barn, she reminded
00:58me a lot of Ghost Zapper.
00:59I was lucky enough to be around that horse quite a bit when I worked for Bobby Frankel.
01:01And every race she came out of, she kept getting better, stronger, faster.
01:07You could see in her works.
01:08It gave me a lot of confidence to keep raising the bar of what I'm asking her to do.
01:12She was injured a couple times and came back from it, has a ton of heart like her father.
01:17She was brilliantly fast from when she was two till she's five, and she's really never
01:22let us down.
01:24Obviously, her Breeders' Cup is a memory that we'll always have.
01:29I think that was just such a loaded field, including Echo Zulu, who ran second that year.
01:35For her to do it so easily, and Irad to just sort of gear her down at the end was so much
01:39fun to watch and enjoy that moment.
01:42Good Night Olive, six in a row, and a Breeders' Cup champion!
01:47Good Night Olive is very similarly made to her sire, Ghost Zapper.
01:51She's very deep through her middle.
01:53She's a very well-made horse, fast, a beautiful hip and head on her, and internally she's
01:57just built with a huge heart.
01:59She's taken every track with her, wherever I train her or race her, and she's really
02:04one of the best dirt fillies I've trained.
02:06I think what made her a great racehorse is definitely her demeanor.
02:09She's very calm, won't turn a hair in the paddock, all business, until she's not.
02:17She knows exactly where the wire is and what her job is.
02:20She's owned and raced by friends of ours, Jay Hanley, Team Hanley, and Steve Lehman
02:25and the First Row Partners.
02:27So it's been really enjoyable to watch the connections and to kind of share the success
02:31with them.
02:32The ownership group has thoroughly enjoyed the ride that she's taken us on.
02:38They really realize how special she is.
02:40They're enjoying it, they're soaking up the moment.
02:42I think getting to watch her go through one final race, the Breeders' Cup, and knowing
02:46that she's going to sell at Night of the Stars afterwards.
02:50Just enjoy the weekend and try to take it all in one last time.
02:55She's in full work, but a nice spacing into the Breeders' Cup, and just hoping she goes
03:00out a winner.
03:01Whoever buys a good night olive really has an amazing opportunity with her in terms of
03:05her breeding prospects.
03:07She could produce a sprint champion, she could produce a classic winner.
03:11The sky's the limit, and the opportunities are endless in terms of who you can breed
03:15her to and what you might be able to produce.
03:18Good night olive is everything you're looking for in a dirt broodmare.
03:23I just couldn't imagine there being a better profile.
03:26Go Sapper is becoming such a prolific broodmare sire.
03:29He's the broodmare sire of Justify and 35 other stakes winners already.
03:34And it's a great page.
03:36She was bred by Stone Street.
03:38I think she's really a collector's item.
