00:00Hello, good evening. There'll be more in the way of sunshine throughout Tuesday after a
00:04bit of a dull start to the week. However, there's still a lot of cloud and some drizzly
00:09rain out there for the next few hours across many southern and central areas of England
00:13and Wales. Particularly across north-eastern areas of England, we could see some quite
00:16low cloud developing through tonight and drizzly rain will come and go for many southern and
00:21central areas. A different story though for the north and west. Across Northern Ireland,
00:26much of Scotland, it will turn much drier and clearer through this evening. We could
00:30see a touch of frost across rural areas of central Scotland, potentially also across
00:35the far south-east, but widely it's going to be a fairly cold start to the day on Tuesday.
00:40But as I said, frost will be fairly limited to just those restricted areas. A bright start
00:46for many areas in the north across Northern Ireland, much of Scotland and northern England
00:49as this band of cloud and rain slowly sinks southwards. It's quite a weak feature by the
00:53time we get to Tuesday lunchtime, but there's still a risk of some showery outbreaks of
00:57rain, particularly across the south-east through Tuesday. That brighter weather will spread
01:02into parts of north Wales and the Midlands later on in the afternoon as well. Now we've
01:06still got this pesky northerly wind, that's going to bring a chilly feel to eastern coast
01:10through the day, but if you are in the sheltered sunshine in the west, perhaps across parts
01:14of south Wales, Devon and Cornwall, temperatures could climb up to the mid-teens, 15-16 degrees
01:20as possible in those areas. Now this area of cloud and rain will still linger across
01:24the south-east likely into the start of the evening, but it should clear away through
01:28the night to leave much of the UK with clear skies and another dry night for many areas.
01:33So it's likely to be another fairly cold night. This onshore wind though across the east coast
01:38will keep a lot of cloud around along coastal areas, perhaps a few showers now and again
01:43as well through the night. But elsewhere it should be another dry and clear night. It's
01:47going to be a more widely colder night on Tuesday night. A few more in the way of rural
01:52areas across parts of Wales, the Midlands, up across north-west England as well. There's
01:56a risk of frost, so we could see temperatures down as low as minus 3 or 4 degrees on Wednesday
02:01morning in rural areas. Wednesday will be a similar day to Tuesday for many western
02:06and northern areas. Across the east though there will be more in the way of sunshine
02:09through the morning. However, this onshore wind is going to bring more cloud in through
02:13the afternoon and perhaps a few showers now and again. But I think most areas should get
02:18away with quite a fine and dry day. But it's still an onshore northerly wind, so it's going
02:23to feel colder, closer to 8 or 9 degrees across the east coast, but again closer to the mid-teens
02:28in the west where you are sheltered from that wind. It's a similar feel through Thursday
02:33and into Friday, but it does look like it will turn a bit warmer, but more unsettled
02:37by the weekend. Keep up to date with all the latest through this week by subscribing to
02:41our YouTube channel. Bye bye.
