00:00Hi there, keep your eyes peeled for some of these beauties in the skies over the next
00:04few days, towering cumulus or even some cumulonimbus clouds. There's going to be some sharp showers
00:11out there as a result. But for the time being, there is the legacy of some cloud cover through
00:16Ireland into Northern England, parts of North Wales, North Midlands, that's an old weather
00:20front. That cloud should break up and allow some warm sunny spells to develop. However,
00:26as temperatures rise across the UK through the afternoon, some sharp showers will develop.
00:31Those towering cumulus clouds will form, particularly for parts of Wales into North West England,
00:36South West Scotland, perhaps Northern Ireland as well. But the liveliest showers most likely
00:42Western Scotland. So the Highlands, for example, could see a thunderstorm developing later
00:48in the afternoon and early evening. That's where the highest temperatures will be actually
00:5223 to 25 Celsius in Western Scotland and somewhere in the region of 22 or 23 Celsius elsewhere
01:00across the UK, particularly Central and South East England. So where we've got the sunshine,
01:05UV levels are high, watch out for that, but also it's going to feel very pleasant. But
01:09there will be some of that cloud developing and some of those sharp and slow moving showers
01:14forming as the day progresses. By the evening, those showers will fade away and most places
01:21will become dry overnight. However, in the east, we'll see a lot of low cloud and some
01:26mistiness roll in. That will be prevalent across eastern Scotland and eastern parts
01:31of England. Clear spells for the west and where we've got the clear spells, temperatures
01:35will dip into the single figures, 8 or 9 Celsius. But where we've got the cloud elsewhere, temperatures
01:42will stay at 12 or 13 degrees. So it's going to be a relatively fresh start to the weekend,
01:49but plenty of dry weather, even some sunshine on offer in the west, a few mist patches here
01:54and there. But this low pressure, which is bringing some very unsettled weather across
01:58Germany, will just about affect things across the south east and later the south west and
02:04south Wales as it peels away into the continent. So we start the day with that cloud cover
02:09in the east, some outbreaks of rain heading into East Anglia and the south east of England.
02:14And then, as that low pressure influences things, some showers developing across Wales
02:18and more especially south west England. Some of these will merge into longer spells of
02:23heavy rain, so it could be ending up quite soggy across parts of Devon, Somerset, Dorset
02:29and Cornwall. Elsewhere, there's going to be further showers, especially central and
02:34western Scotland, for example, but away from any showers. Some decent sunny spells. The
02:39cloud and the low misty low cloud across eastern Scotland and north east England could just
02:45stick around into the afternoon, but otherwise brightening up nicely in the east. We've
02:50got some sunshine on Saturday afternoon. Temperatures once again reaching the low 20s. Now, by Saturday
02:58evening, those showers and outbreaks of rain towards southwestern parts will gradually
03:04start to move away and it will turn drier here overnight, but it may take a few hours.
03:10It might not be until after midnight in some places. And we start off Sunday with plenty
03:15of sunshine in the west. Again, some of that misty low cloud in the east and a lot of cloud
03:20cover remains across central and north east Scotland through the day. A few outbreaks
03:25of rain over the Grampians, for example, but otherwise plenty of sunshine across the country
03:29on Sunday. Some places will just experience a sunny day, for example, Wales, the Midlands,
03:35northern England, east Anglia, but towards the south and southeast, again, there's that
03:39chance of some shower development into the afternoon. These showers could merge into
03:44longer spells of rain where they converge together across the southwest peninsula, but
03:50other areas will miss the showers and stay warm with that sunshine and temperatures reaching
03:55the high teens or low 20s once again. So, another case of sunny spells and showers on
04:01Monday and into Tuesday. We'll keep you updated right here on our YouTube channel. Bye bye.
