00:00Storm Ciarán continues to fade away but we're not completely done with the wet
00:04and windy weather. Not as extreme, not as wild but we are going to see this low
00:09pressure bring more wet and windy weather across particularly England and
00:13Wales during Saturday. The worst of the weather from that system will be a
00:16little further south. The storm itself clearing away but still bringing some
00:21wet weather through the nights across Shetland. A few showers through the
00:24evening over northwest England and north Wales otherwise many places having some
00:28decent clear spells until this rain pushes into the southwest and the winds
00:32pick up and it turns wet and windy across south Wales too. That'll help to keep the
00:36temperatures up here whereas elsewhere with clear skies it will actually turn quite
00:40chilly. Some pockets of frost likely over parts of Aberdeenshire for sure. A bright
00:46start over here with some sunny spells. Far from that in the south, pretty
00:49miserable start. A lot of spray and surface water on the roads, parts of the M4, the M5,
00:53the M25 especially. We do have a Met Office yellow weather warning in place. The rain
00:59will start to ease in the south as it spreads northwards but it will be followed by
01:03heavy blustery showers through the day and because the ground is so soggy that could
01:08cause some further disruption. As I said a lot of spray and surface water on the
01:12roads. For most of Scotland, Northern Ireland, dry and a bright day actually. A few showers
01:16possible in eastern parts of Scotland. If you're stuck under this rain band that
01:20moves into northern England late morning and then lingers in the afternoon it'll feel
01:24pretty cold I suspect with a breeze coming in from the North Sea to seven or eight
01:28Celsius through parts of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. That's not very pleasant at all. In the
01:33brighter spells between the showers in the south we might get into the teens but
01:36obviously even here feeling cooler than that because of the wind and the showers
01:40which keep going well into the evening especially along the south coast. Just
01:43pause it there, seven o'clock, if you've got bonfire plans then well it won't be
01:48raining everywhere but parts of northeast England looking fairly soggy. Those heavy
01:52showers in the south in between something a bit drier and again Scotland and Northern
01:56Ireland seeing some lengthy clear spells. It will be quite chilly here if you're heading out
02:00to tour though. I do bear in mind the ground is saturated so you will need the
02:04wellies. Through the rest of the night the rain continues to trickle into parts of
02:08northeast England. Heavy showers though should ease along the south coast as we
02:12head into Sunday morning. Again a hint of blue on the chart, some frost likely in
02:17parts of northern Scotland but again here some sunshine on Sunday. Many of us will see some
02:21sunshine on Sunday but early on they'll still be this band of cloud and showery rain
02:26across eastern parts. I'm hopeful that will fizzle out as we go through the day. We'll see
02:30something a bit brighter come the afternoon. Showers though will come in from late
02:34morning onwards for western Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and western parts
02:38of England. So a mix of sunshine and showers during Sunday and again on the
02:42cool side generally a chilly start by the afternoon 9 to maybe 13 or 14 across
02:48parts of the south. Still plenty going on then with the weather so if you're
02:52watching on YouTube don't forget to hit subscribe to never miss an update.
