00:00Hello there. A bit of a misty start for some of us, especially across the south of the
00:05country in scenes not too dissimilar to what we've got on the screen here. But those misty
00:10conditions are thanks largely to an area of high pressure across the south, and that will
00:14help to keep it largely dry and settled across England and Wales during the course of Sunday
00:20afternoon. Further to the north and west, we do have this big area of low pressure,
00:25and that is helping to actually drive in showers across parts of Northern Ireland and northern
00:30areas of England and Scotland. And one or two of those showers could prove locally heavy.
00:35But further to the south, with some decent clear skies and sunny conditions, those temperatures
00:40rising comfortably into the mid 20s, especially the further south and east you are. And with
00:45slightly lighter winds than we saw on Saturday, it will feel generally pleasant out there.
00:51Now, any showers across England and Wales will actually peter out during the early
00:55evening, with much of England and Wales becoming largely dry with clear skies. And that will
01:01allow a few mist and fog patches to actually form across the extreme south during the course
01:06of Monday morning. Overnight temperatures generally remaining in double figures right
01:13the way across the country, but step out into the countryside and you can take a degree
01:18or so off these values, especially in some prone rural locations. So it's a bright start
01:24to Monday morning with some mist and fog across the south, quick to actually lift and break
01:29up. Further to the north and west, we do have thicker cloud starting to push in across Northern
01:35Ireland and western Scotland, and that will bring showery outbreaks of rain in to this
01:40part of the world during the course of the day. Winds will also start to actually notch
01:45up a gear, so it will become slightly breezier, especially in the west. And despite these
01:50temperatures being slightly higher than the values we actually see on Sunday afternoon,
01:55it will feel a little bit fresher out there. And it is remaining generally changeable,
02:01especially to the further north and west you are for the rest of the week. Those showers
02:05becoming a little bit more widespread later, with temperatures peaking around Wednesday.
02:12Thank you for listening and please stay tuned for the latest updates. Bye for now.
