00:00Hello. There's mixed fortunes across the UK this afternoon, with the best of the sunshine
00:05in the west, but with some stubborn cloud in the north-east. So through the rest of
00:10this afternoon there will be cloudy skies for many in the east and north-east, with
00:14some patchy drizzle possible near north-eastern coasts. Some warm sunshine though in the west,
00:19and here it will be warmest, with temperatures into the low 20s, however feeling cool along
00:25north sea coasts in that stubborn north-easterly breeze. So during Sunday evening we'll see
00:31cloud increase for many, with some patchy drizzle in eastern Scotland and north-east
00:35England, and also some drizzly showers in the south-east, holding onto clear skies in
00:40parts of the west and north-west where some patchy fog may form by morning. Chilly under
00:45clear skies, but under that blanket of cloud, temperatures should hold up in double figures.
00:50Now Monday is going to be a cloudier day for many compared to Sunday, with the cloud perhaps
00:55bringing occasional patchy drizzle to the north-east of England. Cloud will thin to
00:59allow some bright spells at times, but the best of any sunnier skies will be in sheltered
01:03west and south-western parts, and also over central and western parts of Scotland. Temperatures
01:09into the low 20s in the warmest spots, but disappointingly cool under that cloud in the
01:14east, where there'll be a brisk breeze. High pressure stays with us for the next few days,
01:18so the weather is quite similar from day to day, often cloudy across England and Wales
01:22with the best sunshine across Scotland and Northern Ireland. That's all from me for now.
01:27Bye bye.
