25 April - National weather forecast
Transcript
00:00Hello there, plenty of sunshine to come through Sunday, though a little cooler overall compared to Saturday and still breezy, particularly along the south coast.
00:10Taking a look at the bigger picture and high pressure still remains in charge of the weather. However, through next week we will see a subtle change.
00:16Lower pressure is likely to move down from the north, bringing the risk of rain, particularly across northern parts of the UK.
00:22Through Saturday evening it's going to turn quite chilly, quite quickly under clear skies.
00:26Overnight we'll see a patchy frost, particularly in the countryside once more as temperatures fall close to, if not below, freezing.
00:33A few mist and fog patches forming as well.
00:36However, these will burn away fairly quickly Sunday morning. There'll be plenty of sunshine through the day.
00:41However, we will see cloud bubble up from time to time, particularly across eastern parts of England, parts of Scotland.
00:47There's a low chance of the isolated shower across Scotland, but most places are staying dry.
00:52Best of the warmth holding on across western areas, 16 to 18 Celsius, still chilly along the east and along the south coast as well.
01:00Here temperatures 10 to 12.
01:02Through Sunday evening we'll see some clear skies developing.
01:05This will allow the mist and fog to return for one or two spots, but also a patchy frost and some rain moving in later on.
01:12Heralding a sign of things to come as we move through next week.
