00:00Hello. High pressure is bringing a lot of fine weather this weekend, with the best of
00:04the sunshine in the west. It's not going to be dry for everyone though. And it's in the
00:09south-east of England where there'll be a few showers this afternoon, and rather cloudy
00:12here too. Also cloudy in the far north and north-west with some fog and patchy drizzle
00:17around the coast of Scotland. Elsewhere though, some pleasantly warm sunshine, although an
00:21onshore breeze will keep it cooler along some North Sea coasts.
00:25On Saturday evening, any showers in the south-east will die away, with some clear skies developing.
00:30A different story in the north though, as low cloud spreads inland, bringing a grey
00:34into the night across Northern Ireland, north-eastern Scotland and eastern parts of England. Skies
00:39do stay clear in the west though, and here it will be chilly by morning, with the coldest
00:43rural spots getting down to around 4 or even 5 degrees.
00:47On Sunday morning, the best of any sunshine will be in the sheltered west and southern
00:51areas. Elsewhere, often quite large amounts of cloud. However, I think some sunny spells
00:56will develop through the day. Disappointing though in the north-east, where it will remain
01:00cloudy with the odd spot of drizzle at times. Once again, warmest in sheltered parts of
01:04the west, with that nagging breeze along eastern coasts keeping it a few degrees cooler here.
01:10Settled weather stays with us for the next few days, and if you're looking for sunshine,
01:14you're most likely to find it in the west. And do remember you can stay up to date with
