00:00Hi there, it's a positive message as we head into next week as the weather becomes generally more settled with a lot of dry weather on offer for many on Monday and a few sunny spells, temperatures warming a little.
00:12It's all thanks to high pressure that is building firmly across the country, helping to keep Atlantic weather fronts well at bay to the west, so a lot of dry weather to come.
00:21So any daytime showers this evening will gradually ease with clear spells developing for many, although by dawn some mist and low cloud would probably develop over Northern Ireland, so a bit of a misty start there.
00:34Overnight lows generally staying in double figures, although in the far west under clear skies temperatures dipping close to 10 or 9 degrees.
00:44So into Monday, so a cloudy start for some, although a good number of breaks in that cloud, so dry and bright for many, and tending to become brighter as the day progresses.
00:56If anything cloud will increase across the far west, perhaps with the odd outbreak of rain or drizzle over high ground.
01:03Temperatures generally warmer than of late, with temperatures well generally 22 or 23 across much of England, Wales and Scotland, so a much warmer day.
01:13So into Monday afternoon and evening, so any cloud tending to actually break up, so by dusk a lot of clear spells across much of the country, so a very pleasant end to the day.
01:26In terms of outlook, so becoming generally a lot more settled as the week progresses, with prolonged sunny spells, feeling generally warm and cloudy in a few places.
01:36Thank you for listening and please check our website for updates.
