00:00Hello there. The bank holiday weekend is officially underway for Northern Ireland, England and Wales

00:05and it's going to be a fairly fine one with a mixture of sunny spells and clouds

00:09captured perfectly by Victor the Vol in Suffolk earlier on Saturday morning

00:14and this will be a fairly similar scene for many areas as we move throughout the afternoon.

00:20We may see the isolated shower begin to crop up for some but you will be rather unlucky to be hit by one of these

00:26and many will stay dry with light winds.

00:30Feeling warm where you're in the sunshine with highs of the mid-twenties across Wales and England

00:3520 Celsius for Northern Ireland and Scotland.

00:39It will be cloudy across western areas of Northern Ireland with outbreaks of rain then pushing into

00:44western areas of Scotland come Saturday evening so a bit of a damp end to the day for the Outer Hebrides

00:50but most of this rain will be light.

00:53Clearer spells across England and Wales throughout the night

00:56but perhaps a few mispatches forming across North East England.

01:00Generally a fresh feel for all with temperatures holding up in low double digits for urban areas

01:06potentially dropping down into single figures for rural spots.

01:11The best of the sunshine to begin Sunday morning then across England and Wales

01:15though still with some wispy cloud around at times.

01:18Northern Ireland seeing the brightness coming through later on

01:21but always that bit cloudier across north-west Scotland

01:24where we'll see the outbreaks of rain on and off over the course of the day.

01:28Wind staying light for most but just turning a bit breezier across southern coasts of England.

01:33Where you're in that sunshine though it will be another fairly pleasant day

01:36with temperatures ranging from 19 to 24 Celsius.

01:40The weekend doesn't end there though for Northern Ireland, England and Wales

01:43with Bank Holiday Monday seeing a north-easterly breeze just pushing some clouds into the east

01:48so if you're looking for the warmth and sunshine then heading west is probably best.
