00:00Hello, very good day to you. It doesn't look like there'll be any major let up in the unsettled
00:04weather any time soon. We've already seen some heavy thundery downpours across southern
00:09parts of the UK through this morning in association with this occluded feature that's pushed its
00:14way eastwards across southern parts. Elsewhere there are a couple of other occluded fronts
00:19which are bringing the focus of the showery rain as we go through today. Still some heavy
00:24thunderstorms likely for a few more hours as we head into the afternoon across parts
00:27of the south east. Otherwise across many parts of England and Wales in particular, turning
00:32increasingly sunny as we go through the afternoon and still just a scattering of showers around.
00:37A cloudier picture further north though, some showery outbreaks of rain, some of these could
00:41be a little bit heavy at times and perhaps even a little bit of winteriness over the
00:45very highest ground of Scotland. Temperatures in the north with the cloud are going to be
00:50a little bit on the low side, most places staying in single figures here. A bit milder
00:54further south, highs of around 13 or 14 celsius. Not a huge amount to change as we go through
01:00this evening and overnight, staying quite cloudy across many northern parts, further
01:04outbreaks of rain here and these could still be quite heavy for some of us. Further south,
01:09a drier clearer picture, particularly across central eastern parts of England, some showers
01:14more likely for parts of Wales and south west England. Temperatures not dropping a huge
01:18amount but I am expecting most places to fall into single figures. And across the far north
01:23of Scotland where we get some clear skies, a touch of frost is quite likely here. We
01:28have a bit of a north south split in terms of cloud amount as we go through Wednesday,
01:32staying quite cloudy across many northern parts of the UK, particularly northern England
01:36and much of Scotland and there will be further outbreaks of rain here as well. A sunnier
01:40story though for more central southern parts of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Largely
01:45dry though, just watch out for a few isolated showers around Wales and the Bristol Channel
01:50perhaps. There will also be some decent sunshine across the far north of Scotland, but temperatures
01:55for many likely to be a little bit lower than on Tuesday, highs of around 12, possibly 13
02:00celsius in the south. As we head towards Thursday and we are going to see this feature pushing
02:06its way up from the south west, a deep area of low pressure that is going to bring some
02:10very wet and windy weather across southern parts in particular. A less unsettled story
02:15further north, but there's the potential for 40-50mm of rain perhaps, possibly gusts
02:22of around 50-60mph, so it does look like it could be a pretty unsettled day. There is
02:27a bit of uncertainty as to the detail around the exact track and how deep this low pressure
02:32is going to get. As a result, it is worth staying up to date with our forecast. You
02:36can check out the deep dive which will be available on our YouTube channel later this
02:40afternoon. Bye bye.
