00:00Hello, sunny spells and blustery showers will continue for many through Saturday but Sunday
00:06will bring a bit of a shift in the weather as we start to see more of a northerly breeze
00:10develop. But for Friday evening we've got this westerly across the country and that's
00:14going to continue to drag these heavy showers mainly to the likes of Northern Ireland, Southern
00:19Scotland and Northern England all the way through until Saturday morning. But the breeze
00:24will hold up across the country and because of that temperatures will hold up as well.
00:29So a relatively mild but quite cloudy and breezy start to the weekend with some heavy
00:34showers continuing through the morning mainly through the likes of North Wales, Central England,
00:39Southern Scotland but further south of that we'll see much drier weather and some sunshine starting
00:46to develop as we head into the afternoon. Nowhere will really escape the risk of any
00:50showers but it's here across parts of Wales, Central England too and the south coast where
00:55we could see highs of around 14 or 15 degrees which is higher than the average for this time
01:01of year. A different feel though compared to the south and compared to Friday for these northern
01:06areas of Scotland where that northerly breeze is going to bring quite a chilly feel by the time we
01:11get to Saturday evening. Elsewhere though through Saturday evening we'll see relatively dry weather
01:17though this band of showers will continue to affect this central zone and then to the south
01:23you can't help but notice this heavy area of rain pushing into the likes of Cornwall and Devon and
01:30then later into South Wales. Then through Sunday is when we start to see that change that rain that
01:36arrives through Saturday night will push away to the southeast through Sunday morning and this
01:41cold air from the north will bring that chilly feel through Sunday. So taking a closer look at
01:47some more details for Sunday so as I said the rain will clear through the south coast by the time we
01:52get to around lunchtime on Sunday morning. Further north of that will be a fairly dry day however
01:57this cold air will bring some snow showers to northern areas of Scotland over the hills but
02:03for many it will be a drier day than Saturday however that northerly breeze will make it feel
02:09much colder. These temperatures notice there are a few degrees down compared to Saturdays and
02:14compared to the temperatures we've seen relatively recently so it will feel a little bit of a change.
02:19And then as we head into Monday in the start of next week it'll stay cool
02:23but it will see some decent sunshine. So whatever you are up to over the weekend make sure you stay
02:29up to date with the forecast and you can do that by following us on social media
02:34and keeping up to date with the latest on YouTube. I'll see you later.
