00:00Hello there. As we roll on to the second day of the long weekend, there's still a lot of
00:05fine weather around for us to enjoy. It is, though, going to be cloudier for parts of
00:10eastern down into central England. You might see the odd spot of drizzle, but you will
00:14be a bit unlucky to get hit by one of those. Most of us should stay dry. The best of the
00:18sunshine likely across Northern Ireland, southwest Scotland, parts of western Wales and across
00:23the southern coast of England. It's here in the sunshine across the south where we'll
00:27see temperatures climb the highest throughout the day. Highs of 23, 24 might just squeeze
00:3225 degrees Celsius in there as well. Feeling a bit fresher further towards the north, more
00:37around the mid teens for parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland. If you are stepping
00:41outside, then do remember that pollen levels are high at the moment for England and Wales.
00:47It's grass pollen that's about just lower levels for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
00:52As we head into the evening, there will be some late sunny spells in there for people
00:56to enjoy in this cloud across England will continue to break up and melt away as we head
01:01overnight. That will allow largely clear skies for many of us. That's just going to allow
01:07those temperatures to drop as we head into the early hours of Monday morning. Most towns
01:11and cities will be down into single figures, but perhaps a touch of rural frost is possible
01:17for Northern Ireland, Scotland and even into areas of Northern England as well. As we head
01:23into the main bank holiday Monday, then high pressure is staying with us, so keeping things
01:27fairly fine and settled still. But we've got this easterly north easterly breeze that's
01:32just pushing in as the ice bars squeeze together ever so slightly. So it will be quite breezy
01:38across southern coastal areas of England, even in further inland as well. That's just
01:43going to feed in some slightly cooler and fresher air. So feeling quite cool here, but
01:47generally there'll be a lot of dry weather around and a good amount of sunshine. Still
01:51hazy cloud pushing through at times might make the sunshine hazy in places, but remember
01:56that UV levels will be high and we'll be able to get through that cloud. So do you think
02:00about some skin protection temperatures then going to be feeling cooler along eastern coastal
02:05areas now, mainly only around the teens. But 20 degrees is possible further towards the
02:10west for Wales and parts of southwest England again, and actually Northern Ireland, parts
02:15of central Scotland, seeing their temperatures rise compared to Sunday and now approaching
02:19that 20 degree mark once again. It's just going to stay cloudiest across the very far
02:25north of Scotland and temperatures held back here around 12 degrees Celsius. The odd spot
02:29of drizzle is also possible throughout the day into Monday evening. It will be a fairly
02:34lovely end for most of us, though, away from the very far north. A lot of evening sunshine
02:39to be had. And again, those clear intervals developing. So we'll turn into quite a cool
02:43and chilly night once again as we head into the rest of the week. High pressure is staying
02:48with us, so it's going to stay largely settled for most of us. We are, though, increasingly
02:53going to see that easterly breeze being quite persistent and that will bring in some cloud
02:57for eastern areas and hold temperatures back ever so slightly. So generally, west is going
03:02to be best as we head throughout the forthcoming week. But we'll keep you up to date with all
03:06of that. And you can follow all of our updates across social media wherever you are. And
03:12we'll be back here again with your latest updates very shortly. Bye bye.
