00:00Hello there. Will high pressure continue to dominate over the next few days? Well, we
00:05can start with the bigger picture and take a look. Yes, at the moment high pressure is
00:09over the UK, further settled weather to come. But as we move through the week, we can see
00:14as we head towards the second half, we could see this area of low pressure move up from
00:19the southwest, increasing winds, the risk of some heavy rain starting to move in by
00:24the end of the week and southerly winds starting to develop, so temperatures perhaps rising
00:28by next weekend. For the rest of Sunday, plenty of sunshine across the UK, some cumulus
00:35cloud bubbling up across Northern Ireland into Scotland, isolated shower is possible.
00:40But just notice in the North Sea, more low cloud here and some of this lapping onshore
00:45across eastern coasts of England and Scotland at times. But plenty of blue skies for the
00:50vast majority and that will lift temperatures getting into the low 20s in the west, perhaps
00:56towards 25 or 26 for some western parts of Wales into the West Country, chilly breeze
01:02down the eastern coast still, so here 15 or 16 degrees at the very best. In terms of UV,
01:09well, we're approaching the summer solstice, so we're looking at high to very high UV values
01:14for many. So do stay protected if you're out for prolonged periods of time and pollen levels,
01:19grass pollen rising too high for much of the UK, lower levels for parts of Scotland, perhaps
01:25even some locally very high pockets starting to develop. Into the evening time, all eyes
01:31to the North Sea. This low cloud starts moving its way back westwards, moving inland further
01:37during the early hours, some drizzle possible in this too. Clearer skies for western Scotland,
01:42Northern Ireland, Wales, the West Country, a few shallow mist and fog patches forming
01:46here and temperatures under the cloud generally holding up 9, 10 degrees, but in clearer spots
01:52like we have seen over the last few nights, temperatures dipping way into low single
01:58figures. But it means a sunny start across this western half of the UK, the east generally
02:03cloudier and then through the morning, the cloud only slowly lifts and breaks. It may
02:07take its time and reduces back towards eastern coast. It does mean, again, eastern coast
02:12could generally stay cloudy for much of the day. An isolated shower possible, Northern
02:17Ireland, maybe Scotland, but plenty of sunny spells here. Bluest skies always across western
02:22parts of Wales and the West Country, perhaps a little bit of fair weather cloud building
02:27up and still a northeasterly breeze making it feel chilly along eastern coast, 14, 15
02:32degrees. Temperatures in the west a little lower compared to the weekend, but still 23
02:38as a high for sheltered spots. And then into the evening time and early hours. Once again,
02:45that low cloud pushes back inland and again, thick enough for a few spots of drizzle, perhaps
02:50even pushing further westwards into parts of Wales and the West Country as we end the
02:55night for the clearest skies always towards the northwest of the UK. So if you'd like
