00:00Hello. It'll be another warm day for the UK, especially across eastern areas on Friday.
00:06And in fact, it's going to start to feel increasingly muggy, particularly overnight. But through
00:11Thursday night, many areas will see a dry night. We've got some clear skies developing,
00:15any of the daytime showers tending to fade away. So that's across the bulk of England,
00:19Wales and Scotland. But across the West, across Northern Ireland and Western Scotland, this
00:24front is starting to arrive, this band of rain and cloud, and that's going to be bringing
00:27increasing clouds, some heavy downpours all the way through into Friday morning. But as
00:32I said, temperatures are on the rise and it's going to start to feel a little bit muggy
00:35overnight. So temperatures in the mid teens overnight on Thursday night. Then through
00:40Friday, we've got the influence of high pressure from Europe pulling up this quite warm or
00:45hot air across the UK. But fronts will push in from the north and west and we'll see that
00:50theme continue through the weekend as well. So for Friday, it's Northern Ireland, much
00:55of Scotland seeing quite a lot of cloud around and some heavy outbreaks of rain. These could
01:01be thundery at times too. Across central and eastern areas, it'll be a much clearer day
01:06compared to northern areas and we'll see a decent amount of very warm sunshine. It'll
01:11feel quite hot in the best of the sunshine in the southeast, highs of 27 or 28 degrees,
01:17quite similar to temperatures reached on Thursday. Then through Friday evening, it'll continue
01:23to stay quite cloudy across the north and west and across the south and east, dry and
01:28clear. So we'll see quite a lot of cloud throughout the night, some quite heavy showers, particularly
01:34across northern Scotland into the early hours of Saturday and we'll continue to see that
01:38risk of thundery downpours within that. The winds are also going to pick up a little bit
01:43too, but we're continuing to see this quite warm, humid air. So you can see temperatures
01:49holding up close to the high teens in many towns and cities. So it could start to feel
01:53a little bit uncomfortable overnight on Friday night. So Saturday, by and large, for central
02:00and southern areas, another dry and fine day. Still some dry weather here and there, drier
02:05day for Northern Ireland and for Scotland into the afternoon. We'll start to see more
02:09of that dry weather and it will still feel quite warm in any sunshine because the air
02:13is quite so humid through this weekend. But through the afternoon, I think it's when we'll
02:18see the best of the sunshine and temperatures climbing quite widely into the low or mid
02:2220s, possibly higher than that to the higher 20s across the south east. So feeling quite
02:28hot in these areas. Then through Sunday, we'll see a bit more cloud arriving into the north
02:35and west. But if you'd like to find out a full weather forecast for the weekend, you
02:39can check out the latest on YouTube with Aidan. I'll see you later.
