00:00It's been a fine start to the bank holiday weekend for much of the UK but the Jubilee
00:05forecast is one to keep an eye on as there's an increasing risk of showers as we head into
00:10Saturday and Sunday. On Thursday afternoon, Northern Ireland will see the bulk of the
00:15rain across with cloudier skies and outbreaks of rain through the afternoon. Elsewhere a
00:19bit more cloud developing than this morning with the risk of the odd shower across Scotland,
00:24Northern England and into parts of North Wales as well. Out of those showers though, in the
00:28sunshine feeling very warm, warmer than recent days, 22-21 degrees quite widely across central
00:34southern areas. Into the evening much of central southern areas staying dry and fine. Across
00:40Northern Scotland as well becoming drier and clearer but in the middle across Northern
00:44England, Southern Scotland, Northern Ireland turning quite cloudy and wet as we head through
00:49Thursday night into Friday morning as well. So a damper start across these areas but it will be a
00:54milder start than recently as well because of more cloud around. In the south though for Friday
01:00it will be another fine and dry day though there is a risk of the odd shower here and there. In
01:05the sunshine feeling warm again, highs of 23 or 24 degrees but cooler exposed to a northeasterly
01:12breeze across the east. Now we'll see that cooler theme continue across eastern areas as cloud
01:18starts to pull in off the North Sea coast on Friday evening but turning drier elsewhere.
01:23Saturday will be a fine and dry start away from any of that lower cloud but we will see showers
01:28spread in from the south coast bringing a risk of thunderstorms across the south and into the
01:32southeast on Saturday evening. So if you're planning on being out on Saturday keep an eye
01:37on the forecast and you can do that by following us on social media.
