00:00Hello again. It's a cloudy, a breezy but a humid afternoon to come and it's hot in places,
00:08mainly the south east of England. At the moment, a couple of cold fronts across the country.
00:13Now those weather fronts have brought some heavy rain earlier but the heaviest rain is
00:17now moving along and we're left with an area of cloud for most of the UK and damp conditions
00:24for parts of western England, Wales. Brighter skies for Scotland and Northern Ireland, a
00:29keen breeze coming in, bringing some showers for western Scotland for example but breaking
00:34that cloud up for the east of Scotland where it will be warm this afternoon with temperatures
00:38reaching 25 Celsius. 24 to 26 for eastern England but the real heat there across the
00:44south east where it's going to stay dry, there'll be some sunshine coming through and temperatures
00:49are likely to reach 30 Celsius. Feeling humid wherever you are, whether you've got that
00:53cloud or more especially where you've got the sunshine. Areas of light rain and drizzle
00:58continue to affect northern England and parts of Wales, particularly the higher ground and
01:01the coastal areas into the evening and that rain will increasingly turn up across Devon
01:07and Cornwall as well. Showers and more prolonged rain push into western Scotland and Northern
01:12Ireland. Again, breezy to come overnight with breeze keeping temperatures up at 17 to 19
01:19Celsius. So a warm night, an uncomfortable night for some and a cloudy, gloomy start
01:25to the day on Wednesday. A lot of cloud covering the hills of Wales and the south west and
01:30an area of rain first thing pushes into the Midlands, into central southern England, turns
01:35to showers and then fades away before it even affects the south east. So once again, largely
01:40dry here and another very warm day, 28, 29 Celsius once the sun comes through. Also,
01:46a cooler feel for Scotland, Northern Ireland, Northern England with bright spells and showers
01:51expected after a blustery start, the wind does ease away. Now for the rest of the week,
01:57we're going to see the cooler air in the north spread south and well, it looks like Thursday
02:02and Friday will bring further showers to northern parts of the country whilst it stays dry in
02:07the south and then high pressure builds for the weekend, so drier more widely.
