00:00Hello there, welcome to your weather forecast from The Metaverse. As we go through the rest
00:04of this weekend, it's certainly remaining mild out there with the rain generally focused
00:08across the north. Really, that's the situation as we end Saturday. Still got this area of
00:13rain which will only slowly clear into the North Sea. They will linger for most of the
00:17night across parts of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire into East Anglia. But for the rest of England
00:22and Wales, it's a generally quiet night with a mixture of cloud and clear spells. For Scotland,
00:28it does turn clearer for a time across the east, but we've got this next area of rain
00:32arriving into the west, may also just spread into Northern Ireland too. But under the clear
00:36skies in the east, we could see some icy patches as we see a touch of frost. So there is a
00:41yellow warning in force as we go through the course of the night, so do take care if you
00:44are travelling overnight in Scotland. But further south, no real problems with temperatures,
00:49another mild one to come. Maybe not as mild as recent nights, but still above par for
00:53the time of year. Temperatures not falling much lower than 7 or 8 degrees. So mild, quiet
01:00start to the day for many parts of England and Wales. Still got this rain lingering across
01:04East Anglia, so quite a bit of a slow start here. But it will improve here and generally
01:09for a lot of southern England and Wales. It's a dry, bright and sunny day. Further north,
01:14got this rain continuing across Scotland, quite heavy and persistent at times, especially
01:19for Orkney and Shetland. And quite cloudy too for Northern Ireland and Northern England
01:23and that cloud could just be thick enough at times to produce the odd spit and spots
01:27of rain, especially across the high ground. Very similar too, I think, for North West
01:31Wales where we could just see the odd splash of rain. In the sunshine further south, we
01:36will see temperatures reaching 14 or 15 degrees once again. And a milder day than Saturday
01:41in the north, but this will be tempered somewhat by a keen breeze which will only strengthen
01:46further as we go through the course of the night. Could see some severe gales developing
01:49for a time across the far north of Scotland. And all in all, quite a wet and windy night
01:53to come here. To the south of it, a good deal of cloud, some outbreaks of rain, especially
01:58across the high ground and another mild one to come. Temperatures, again, not much lower
02:02than 6 to 7 degrees. So, quite a wet start for parts of Scotland, coming into the central
02:08belt for the rush hour. So, potentially just see a little bit of a slow commute here. So,
02:14the north of it actually does cheer up for the far north of Scotland, a mixture of sunny
02:17days and blustery showers. And if anything, that rain then pushes back northwards as we
02:21go through the course of Monday. So, some parts of Scotland, a really miserable Monday
02:25to come. For the rest of the country, Northern Ireland, England and Wales, a good deal of
02:30cloud around. Again, some outbreaks of rain, especially across the high ground and sunshine
02:35really limited. Maybe best of it in the afternoon across Northern Ireland and perhaps some parts
02:40of eastern Wales into central southern England. But despite the cloud, another mild day to
02:46come. Again, 13, 15 degrees for a lot of the south of the country.
02:51Heading into Tuesday, a very similar day, still dominated by high pressure in the south
02:56and under the influence of the milder air. But come Wednesday, we see a change. We start
03:00to see winds coming down from the north. It's turning a good deal colder by Wednesday. We'll
03:05see a risk of some wintry showers, especially across the northern half of the country and
03:09for many of us, a return to night time frosts. We'll keep you up to date on that as we go
03:15through the new working week on our website or through our various social media channels.
03:20And you can always check up the latest video forecast on YouTube. But that's all from me
03:24for now.
