00:00Hello, there. Welcome to the latest broadcast from the Met Office. Much of November has
00:05been dominated by mild, wet and windy weather and continue to see that over the rest of
00:11the weekend. The jet stream still bringing in that mild air, some wet and windy weather
00:16in places. However, as we move through the week, the jet stream moves away and we see
00:20something a little bit colder. So, back to Sunday afternoon, quite cloudy skies across
00:25much of England and Wales. Further rain across the far south-east of England, could see some
00:30localised river flooding, particularly across parts of Kent. Brighter skies the further
00:35north and west you go, the sunnier skies across parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland, but
00:40the risk of some showers. Some of these could be heavy at times, blown in by quite a brisk
00:45wind across the far north-west of the UK, some hail, some thunder in there too. In between,
00:50there will be some drier spells and winds still coming in from the south, even though
00:54they're quite blustery in the north and the west, still a mild direction. 10 to 12 degrees
00:59for many, still 13 or 14 across some southern parts of England. We say goodbye to the rain
01:05across south-east England as we head towards the end of the evening. Blustery showers though
01:10across the north and the west continue. These try and spread a little further eastwards
01:14overnight, but the clearest skies across central parts of England into eastern England too.
01:19This will allow some mist and fog patches to develop, particularly across eastern England
01:23down into east Anglia, some dense patches forming as we head towards the end of the
01:28night. A little bit fresher for most, single figures across towns and cities. In the countryside
01:34across parts of the north and east, we could see a touch of frost forming as we head into
01:39Monday morning. A bright start for many Monday morning, clearest skies across central areas.
01:44Some mist and fog patches though, particularly across eastern England, could lead to a tricky
01:48commute first thing. This should generally lift and break, perhaps some low cloud hanging
01:52on across some eastern counties. Elsewhere, a mixture of sunny spells and showers, though
01:56showers mostly focused across central southern England into Wales, the west country. Best
02:02of the sunshine across Northern Ireland and Scotland. Blue skies for many here, and winds
02:06generally light, still a little bit breezy around some southern and western coasts. Here
02:11temperatures 11 or 12 degrees, a bit cooler further north and east, particularly where
02:16any low cloud lingers across some eastern coasts. Through the evening time, we'll continue
02:20to see those showers across southern areas. They will fade away later, clearing skies
02:25for many, will lead to quite a chilly night, patchy frost across northern areas, and then
02:30the return of some low cloud, mist and fog across the far east of England. And low cloud,
02:36mist and fog will be the theme as we move through the week ahead. Plenty of this across
02:41many central and eastern areas, but more widespread by the end of the week. The risk of a few
02:45light showers, but the main theme is drier. If you'd like more information on this, you
02:49can visit us on our social media channels. I'll see you again soon.
