00:00Hello again. So we've got a lot of cloud across northern parts of the country with rain edging into eastern parts during the course of the day.

00:07Elsewhere, fine and dry. It's a pleasant day for many.

00:10So we have high pressure to the far east and the flow is from the south.

00:15So we're starting to draw in increasingly warm air over the coming few days.

00:19So it's only warmer as the week progresses.

00:22So back to the here and now.

00:24So a fair amount of cloud across England and Wales will break up during the afternoon with some long sunny spells developing.

00:30Further north clouding over from the west with outbreaks of rain reaching western parts of Scotland by mid-afternoon.

00:37Temperatures fairly respectable for early September with highs generally into the low to mid-20s.

00:45Perhaps reaching 25 in and around the London area.

00:49So this evening. So cloud tending to actually break up. So a lot of clear spells developing.

00:54Although parts of west Wales and southwest cloud may linger well into the overnight period.

01:00Further north cloud pushing south into many parts of Scotland.

01:04Temperatures staying in double figures overnight with highs generally in the mid-teens.

01:09Although we might see a few mist and fog patches develop by dawn.

01:13So moving into Monday morning.

01:15So another bright day for many parts of England and Wales.

01:18Although a lot of low cloud across parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland with outbreaks of rain pushing south.

01:23But that rain tend to break up.

01:25Elsewhere a lot of clear sunny weather for many.

01:29Temperatures tomorrow afternoon just a notch up on Sunday with highs generally into the mid-20s.

01:37Although perhaps reaching highs of 28 again in and around the London or southeast area.

01:42So staying very warm in the outlook period and very sunny.

01:46Perhaps with a thundery breakdown from midweek.
