00:00Hello there, welcome to your forecast for Friday. Some brighter breaks across some
00:04parts of the country but the theme of the weather will be settled conditions
00:07and the risk of fog. Now the Met Office has issued warnings for that fog across
00:12eastern counties of England through Thursday night and into Friday. It's
00:16reforming through Thursday evening anywhere from the Vale of York towards
00:19East Anglia. Elsewhere we will see some mist and fog form, some pockets of frost
00:24as well towards the northeast where we see the lowest temperatures and across
00:28the far west of Scotland a keen breeze here more than way of cloud higher
00:31temperatures and one or two showers. Elsewhere will be a dry end to the night
00:36but it will be murky in places, lots of low cloud, mist and fog, poor visibility
00:40and so a bit of a murky start to the day come Friday morning and chilly in places
00:45with a touch of frost. So through Friday not a lot to change, high pressure firmly
00:50in charge so the weather's not moving very far very fast and certainly this
00:54fog across eastern counties is likely to linger on across one or two spots
00:57into the afternoon. Elsewhere brighter skies will be central northeastern parts
01:02of Scotland, northeast England, western parts of Wales where we could see some
01:05sunshine. Elsewhere always a lot of stubborn cloud and the highest
01:10temperatures are likely to be across the highlands of Scotland on the peaks
01:13with could see temperatures up to around 12 13 Celsius with the higher chance of
01:18seeing some sunshine. Elsewhere around 8 to 10 degrees Celsius. Now into the
01:22weekend things turn steadily colder always the chance of fog patches a lot
01:26of clouds and that's pretty much how we see the beginning of Christmas week.
01:29Bye bye for now.
