00:00Hello. As we look through the rest of this Sunday, and many of us will see some winter sunshine,
00:06but there is also going to be some rain pushing south. You can see that rain with a band of cloud
00:11making its way southwards across parts of England and Wales. Ahead of this, and also behind towards
00:17the north, that's where the best of the sunshine will be. Temperatures a nudge higher than we saw
00:22yesterday for many, with highs of 11 or 12 Celsius, but it is going to be quite breezy,
00:26the strongest winds for Orkney and Shetland. As we go through this evening and overnight,
00:31there will be plenty of clear skies. As a result, temperatures are going to take a bit of a drop.
00:36There will be some mist and fog patches, but it won't be as widespread as we saw through some
00:40nights last week. The lowest temperatures will be away from the towns and cities. Here,
00:45many places could fall several degrees below freezing, with lows of minus four or perhaps
00:50minus five in rural spots of Northern Ireland. Monday then, getting off to a chilly but bright
00:55start for many, with plenty of sunshine as we go through the day. Temperatures in most places are
01:01likely to be a nudge down on today, but winds a little bit lighter than we're going to see today.
01:07As we look through the rest of the week, and we are going to see high pressure to start off with,
01:11but that will drift away, allowing for bands of rain to make their way in from the northwest as
01:16we go towards the middle of the week. But further high pressure is going to build from the west as
01:21we head towards the end of the week. So overall, this week's looking generally quite settled, but
01:26that does bring the risk of some further frost and fog, and it's just in the middle of the week
01:30where things are going to be more changeable.
