00:00Hi there. A fine day for most. Not entirely sunny everywhere. There are some large areas
00:05of cloud floating around. One area of cloud will move through parts of Wales, the Midlands,
00:10East Anglia, pushing into southern England during the afternoon. And you can see a few
00:14spots of rain on that for mid Wales and the Midlands. One or two showers also disappearing
00:20across north east Scotland. But actually it's across much of Scotland and northern England
00:24and into the north Midlands later where we see the best of any sunny spells. Temperatures
00:30are a little closer to average compared to recent days. 22, 23 Celsius in the south.
00:36High teens, low 20s further north. But increasingly there will be thicker cloud into western Scotland
00:43and northern Ireland later in the day and that will bring outbreaks of rain. Initially
00:48to western and northern Scotland and then some outbreaks of rain will also affect northern
00:53Ireland at times into northern England and north Wales. Mostly this will be light and
00:57on and off. The more persistent stuff reserved for the higher part of western Scotland. A
01:03mild night to come as cloud and rain pushes south. Even in the south east where we keep
01:08clear spells, temperatures mostly holding up in the double figures. But high pressure
01:14close to the south will keep things settled on Wednesday. Whilst low pressure just brushing
01:19through parts of the Faroes will bring thicker isobars to northern parts of the UK and outbreaks
01:26of rain. After some early wet weather in the north and the east of Scotland, the rain mostly
01:33light and well it's just drizzly stuff really for western Scotland by the afternoon but
01:38it's mostly over higher ground. Northern Ireland, northern England also seeing some light spots
01:44of rain but well it's going to be a breezy day for northern areas with the wind bouncing
01:50over hills making it feel on the cool side. But further south actually a fair amount of
01:56sunshine for central and southern parts of England, mid and south Wales and a warmer
02:01day to come with 24 to 26 Celsius likely and could even see 27 Celsius somewhere towards
02:09the south east. Into the evening the breeze continues in the north, it starts to shift
02:14direction so it's more of a north to north westerly and well that will make it feel a
02:19bit cooler overnight but really it's a warming trend for many over the next few days heading
02:24into the weekend. Plenty of sunshine as well apart from the far north west.
