00:08:22that likes to hit you from behind,

00:08:24sneak attack, and that's all

00:08:42you'll recall last night at the Great American Bash

00:08:44in Moline, Illinois, a big question was asked.

00:08:46What happened to the Nature Boy,

00:08:48Ric Flair? He and Six battled all the way

00:08:50back to the locker room. We never

00:08:52saw him again. But here tonight

00:08:54with us is Ric Flair,

00:08:56and we'll have that question answered, Mike, today.

00:08:58Well, there are a lot of questions about Ric Flair's

00:09:00association with Roddy Piper.

00:09:02Also, Diamond Dallas Page is certainly

00:09:04feeling the after effects of last

00:09:06night's war with Randy Savage.

00:09:08We hope to get all those questions answered

00:09:10in this broadcast. Medusa had her career

00:09:12come to an end last night.

00:09:14Also, the Outsiders are still the World Tag Team

00:09:16champs. The Great American Bash was quite

00:09:18a night last night, Larry. Yeah, it was a big event,

00:09:20and I called the Medusa match. I knew

00:09:22Sonny Ono tricked her

00:09:24and trapped her, and now she's gonna

00:09:27be destined to a kitchen.

00:09:29Let's go to the ring.

00:09:31The opening bout with you on WCW

00:09:33Monday Nitro. You look

00:09:35at this great crowd on hand.

00:09:37Capacity crowd here with us tonight.

00:09:39One of the matches last night,

00:09:41gentlemen saw Glacier face

00:09:43Raph. Glacier continues

00:09:45the undefeated string, but in the same

00:09:47breath, Mike, today, Glacier

00:09:49continues to be beaten

00:09:51unmercifully after

00:09:53the match concludes, and here

00:09:55comes Mortis to open up our program.

00:09:57Well, correct, you are, Tony. Glacier's still

00:09:59unbeaten after the Great American Bash

00:10:01with that victory over Raph,

00:10:03but I guess you might say that he won the battle

00:10:05but lost the post-match war.

00:10:07Mortis, as we see him

00:10:09come to the ring with James Vandenberg,

00:10:11was handcuffed at ringside.

00:10:13However, Vandenberg was able to get the key

00:10:15to the cuffs. They uncuffed

00:10:17Mortis, and they handcuffed Glacier

00:10:19to the ring ropes, and they beat

00:10:21him after the match. Which one does

00:10:23Nevertheless, fans,

00:10:25we want to let you know that if you missed

00:10:27the Great American Bash

00:10:29last night, the encore

00:10:31presentation will be on

00:10:33Request TV, and that will be

00:10:35beginning tomorrow night.

00:10:55back, but as you said, Mike, once he was

00:10:57handcuffed, and once he was double teamed,

00:10:59we didn't know how severe the injuries would be.

00:11:01Well, it's been obvious from the outset

00:11:03that Vandenberg has

00:11:05one thing in mind. He,

00:11:07Rath, and Mortis share a common goal,

00:11:09and that is the total destruction of Glacier.

00:11:11Fans, if you just joined

00:11:32Glacier, I mean, with all the discipline he has,

00:11:34he's gonna have to widen his

00:11:36spectrum and realize

00:11:38that this is not one-on-one competition anymore.

00:11:40He's got an army against him,

00:11:42Vandenberg and the rest of his rare

00:11:44oddities, and one man against

00:11:46an army, I don't care how disciplined you are,

00:11:48just isn't gonna be enough.

00:11:50Oh, wow!

00:11:52Oh, what a move. That's a

00:11:54kick by Glacier.

00:11:56Glacier, we talked about this

00:11:58in discussion last night. Glacier

00:12:00has really picked up the intensity and has

00:12:02done some things uncharacteristic

00:12:04of Glacier, but I guess when you're handcuffed

00:12:06and beaten unmercifully like you were

00:12:08last night, like Glacier was, then you

00:12:10have to fight fire with fire here, Mike.

00:12:12Well, this trio of terror, Vandenberg,

00:12:14Rath, and Mortis have caused Glacier

00:12:16to deviate from his usual offensive

00:12:18game plan. We've talked about

00:12:20this before. He was taught that

00:12:22the most versatile, most lethal way to

00:12:24attack and use the hands is with

00:12:26open hands, but he's even resorted to using

00:12:28closed fists. I think the biggest problem

00:12:30is Glacier doesn't really have anyone

00:12:32in his corner. He needs someone to

00:12:34watch his back. Well, it's gonna be a true test

00:12:36of his mastery of

00:12:38discipline. Will he keep his

00:12:40composure? Will he think with his head?

00:12:42Or will he become

00:12:45emotionally unstable

00:12:47and make every mistake in the book?

00:12:49True test for Glacier, but not

00:12:51a nice one. Here tonight, fans,

00:12:53six of the NWO, the Cruiserweight

00:12:55champ, will defend his belt against

00:12:57former champion Rey Mysterio Jr.,

00:12:59Chris Jericho, the Ultimate Dragon, plus

00:13:01Steve Mongo, McMichael, and Jeff Jarrett

00:13:03against Bagwell and Norton of the NWO,

00:14:32in kickboxing and karate.

00:16:01Medusa has all of this sunk in

00:16:04yet.

00:16:10I came out here

00:16:12to say

00:16:14something that

00:16:16last night

00:16:18was the end of my

00:16:20wrestling career.

00:16:26I am a woman of my word

00:16:30and

00:16:32it was career versus

00:16:34title last night

00:16:36and I ended my career.

00:16:38And Gene

00:16:40I can't believe that I'm out here tonight.

00:16:46This is something that's going to take some time.

00:17:48and, you know, as she really

00:17:50if you go back last night, Mike

00:17:54she really poured her heart and soul

00:17:56in her career and exemplified

00:17:59that in the match, in the effort that she gave

00:18:01last night against Hokuto, but the knee gave out

00:18:03when she attempted a double ax hand

00:18:05over the top, gave out, Hokuto realizing

00:18:07it was a career

00:18:09or it was a knee that jeopardized

00:18:11her career earlier

00:18:13and she went right for that, nothing she could do.

00:18:15And you certainly can't blame Hokuto

00:18:17for taking advantage of that injury

00:18:19all those years of dedication for Medusa

00:18:21we have to say down the drain.

00:18:23Alright, last week on this program

00:18:25Dean Malenko lost the U.S. Heavyweight

00:18:27Championship because of this incident

00:18:29out comes Eddie Guerrero

00:18:31and as Jeff Jarrett

00:18:33is face down, as Malenko

00:18:35is face up, the frog splash

00:18:37connected

00:18:39and that led to figure four

00:18:41that gave Jeff Jarrett

00:18:43the United States Heavyweight Championship

00:18:45and he left

00:18:47a clue as well

00:18:49and I think Dean Malenko knows exactly what it meant

00:18:51Well, after seeing the video

00:18:53Malenko doesn't need any clue

00:18:55I'm standing right here

00:49:02And you know the way Rodman's frame of mind is,
