00:15:08The opening of the program was not something good for world championship

00:15:12wrestling fans, as you saw what happened to Randy Anderson and saw what

00:15:15happened to the Steiner brothers stripped of their titles and fined by Eric Bischoff.

00:15:19Act of frustration and act of humiliation.

00:15:23The philosophy of the new world order kind of follows the guide for the married man.

00:15:28No matter how you get caught in what people say, you're going to get caught.

00:15:30The guide for the married man, no matter how you get caught in what predicament,

00:15:34just deny it, deny it, deny it.

00:15:37But the events that happened cannot be denied.

00:15:40Unfortunately, a lot of positive things did happen for world championship

00:15:43wrestling, but because it was an NWO pay-per-view, we were not able to

00:15:47provide you with the footage.

00:15:48We are though, from our still photographers, able to show you some of

00:15:51the things that happened in favor of world championship wrestling this past

00:15:55Saturday night, let's take a look at the stills, the photographs you see right

00:15:57there, Sixx and Eddie Guerrero in the ladder match, and I tell you fans, it was

00:16:02a classic.

00:16:03The key was of course, to put the ladder in the center of the ring and try to get

00:16:06off.

00:16:06Sixx executed an incredible drop kick from the top, but in the end, when both

00:16:11were struggling to get the belt, Eddie Guerrero knocked Sixx off and Eddie

00:16:15Guerrero comes up with the US heavyweight title belt.

00:16:18He celebrates with members of WCW who were in attendance that night.

00:16:23In addition, Diamond Dallas against Scott Norton.

00:16:26Members of the NWO came down to try to encourage Diamond Dallas once again,

00:16:31that they were friends.

00:16:32He temporarily agreed to that, but then executes the diamond cutter on Scott

00:16:38Flash.

00:16:38Norton fends off the attempts of other members of the NWO to triple and double

00:16:43team him.

00:16:44And then he goes to the stance and rips off the NWO t-shirt off his back.

00:16:49And I tell you a lot of good things happen through world championship

00:16:52wrestling at NWO sold out.

00:16:54We have a lot going on here tonight.

00:16:55As you heard Bischoff say, Hollywood Hulk Hogan is here.

00:16:59We understand the world tag team champions Hall and Nash will be here later

00:17:04on in action.

00:17:05But right now let's go to the ring as we continue this week here on WCW Monday

00:17:15on hand.

00:17:21at veterans auditorium.

00:17:26We are going to have two gigantic men wrestle on this next matchup.

00:17:31And as we take a look at roadblock, a 300 plus pound, almost pushing the 400

00:17:37pound mark on the scales, he's going to face a man who certainly should have

00:17:44the world title around his waist.

00:17:46But Larry, we said so much about it going into NWO sold out.

00:17:50And for you fans who saw the pay-per-view telecast, you know, as well as I do,

00:17:56Hogan's shoulders were down on the mat.

00:17:57Repeated amount of time for the three count.

00:22:53had it stolen away from him and then went to the U S title at Starrcade and

00:22:57had it stolen away from him there.

00:22:59You see a young man deserving of a championship and finally having his

00:23:05title piece with him for the first time.

00:23:09And again, Jared, what an opportunity for him.

00:23:14organization, but Eddie Guerrero, this guy's a fighter, no doubt about it.
