00:00:28Boy, there's something new as we go outside.

00:00:31TNT Monday Nitro, it's a Hummer, a Hummer limousine.

00:00:36And the members of the New World Order are here.

00:00:40Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Miss Elizabeth of course, there's six.

00:00:44The Outsiders, Ted DiBiase, they're all here as they are making their arrival.

00:00:52There is Mr. Wall Street, looks like the Macho Man, Randy Savage.

00:00:56And would you look in the back, the highest ranking official of WCW,

00:01:01Eric Bischoff is here as well, Larry.

00:01:04You can see what kind of colors they are, these guys got to pull up now.

00:01:10Well, we have another limousine here, what do we have here?

00:01:16There's a surprise, that's Dr. Harvey Schiller, the president of Turner Sports.

00:01:28All right, we are ready to go.

00:01:33And let's go to the ring.

00:01:36WCW is number one.

00:01:41In the opening bout this week and we have a tremendous program.

00:01:45Are you ready for this, Larry?

00:01:46Later on, our main event, tag team action.

00:01:49Lex Luthor the Giant against the Steiner Brothers.

00:01:53Steiner Brothers, a couple of lucky individuals after what happened to them.

00:01:57But again, that just shows how tough the Steiner Brothers are, Tony.

00:02:02Talk about a couple of tough guys and two of the strong links

00:02:06holding together the Dungeon of Doom, Hugh Morris and Konnan.

00:02:12Hugh Morris and Konnan and what a group they have.

00:02:20To go up against this week as Jeff Jarrett and Steve Mongo McMichael

00:02:25will be together once again.

00:02:26And as we found out last week and as we've known,

00:02:30these two are the only two members of the Horsemen

00:02:32who can wrestle right now, Larry Zobisko.

00:02:35And they're the only healthy ones that we also saw last week.

00:02:38These guys don't get along very well.

00:02:41And even though the efforts of Ric Flair and Arn Anderson last week came out,

00:02:45we'll see if they can mold these two guys into a team.

00:02:50I tell you, out of Superbrawl last Monday, as you know, we were in Sacramento.

00:02:54We ended our program with the man that we're gonna see in our main event,

00:02:58the two man, Lex Luthor and the Giant.

00:03:00And Luthor stepped to the forefront, Larry,

00:03:02made that big challenge a week ago to the NWO.

00:03:06Now, of course, as we said this past weekend on all of our television programs,

00:03:10the WCW Executive Committee meeting on that challenge by Lex Luthor.

00:03:16He is not a matchmaker.

00:03:17He cannot come up with the matches.

00:03:18But we all thought it was a good idea, the announcers did.

00:03:21I would love to see that match signed.

00:03:23Well, I thought it was a good idea.

00:03:25Again, a man emerging who's got the guts and

00:03:28the intestinal fortitude to be a leader.

00:03:31He called the challenge.

00:03:32Unfortunately, he doesn't have the authority to back it up.

00:03:36No doubt about it, a lot going on.

00:03:38There is a lot of people here.

00:03:39I mean, from everywhere in the back tonight, we had wrestlers,

00:03:44we had executives of the WCW Executive Committee.

00:03:48Then we see Dr. Schiller come out, the president of Turner Sports.

00:03:51He's a member of the Turner Executive Committee.

00:03:54He is here with us as well.

00:03:55So this is a gala night for the superstars of World Championship Wrestling.

00:03:59A duck low, and Jeff Jarrett starts right out against Hugh Lawrence.

00:04:03This is really, as you said, Larry, classic horseman against the dungeon of doom.

00:04:07Well, it should be classic, that's a good one.

00:04:10Should be classic horseman as long as Jarrett and Mongo can coexist together.

00:04:15Well, last week they could not, but a very, very interesting point that Mongo

00:04:20brought up, that he will be the only one to hit Jeff Jarrett.

00:04:24He will watch his back from anyone from the outside.

00:04:27There's Hugh Morris with a running lariat.

00:04:30Hugh Morris got him, and again, here's a man, this guy, over 300 pounds.

00:04:35Just very explosive, great center of balance for a big man.

00:04:39He's got Jarrett in trouble.

00:05:19And there are really annoying Steve McMichaels, but it's a good distraction.

00:05:32Yeah, but the fact is, if they continue now to attack McMichael verbally,

00:05:37then by the time he gets in, if he gets in, he's gonna be very tough to handle.

00:05:43what they were doing was pulling the referee out of position.

00:07:22it was working out pretty well until the Public Enemy.

00:07:35I'm not so sure if he is out or if he can get to his feet.

00:10:25Diamond Dallas made his return to action, and Larry, this is amazing.

00:10:29A week removed from the brutal attack he sustained at the hands of the NWO, and

00:10:35most specifically, the Macho Man Randy Savage.

00:10:38Last week, he left the arena on a gurney with EMPs, Randy.

00:10:44And let's get real specific, Macho Man Savage,

00:10:48what a disappointment to manly hood.

00:10:51Diamond Dallas carried on the stretcher, Tony, but

00:10:55this week, the man's walking back out on his own power.

00:10:59He is out on his own power.

00:11:02Look at that, they ripped off those NWO shirts,

00:11:06and they put the DDP shirt on underneath.

00:11:09Well, that's exactly what he has become.

00:11:12He has become a man, has become a fitter enemy.

00:11:15To the NWO, Diamond Dallas Cage will face Rick Fuller in this

00:11:20matchup here on WCW Monday Night Raw.

00:11:23This has been, ever since that ticket went on sale in January,

00:11:28the hottest ticket in the city of Atlanta.

00:11:31Everyone is here, the passionate crowd in this venue that has been legendary for

00:11:37this great sport, Larry, as you know.

00:11:40I've wrestled here for years, I've had some classic matches with names like Mr.

00:11:45Wrestling number two, and the list goes on, and classic building.

00:11:50And great wrestling fans, no doubt about it, all over the state of Georgia,

00:11:54in the Carolinas, up from Florida, coming here tonight.

00:11:57It is great to have you with us, because later in this telecast,

00:12:00the team of Lex Luger and the Giant against the Steiner Brothers,

00:12:05that is a big time main event that we have in our number two.

00:12:09And Fuller sends DDP back, Fuller a big guy, Fuller hits a great backhand.

00:12:13And another knife head shot in the chest of Diamond Dallas Page.

00:12:18Yeah, Fuller is a big guy, you know, Diamond's about six foot five, so

00:12:22Fuller's going, he went down hard, Diamond got behind him.

00:12:25That's a ten, says DDP, and he's putting down with a belly to back suplex.

00:12:31Boy, and a jawbreaker by Fuller, that was a great counter move.

00:12:34Fuller snuck one in, Diamond Dallas hit a nice move, but

00:12:37boy, just delayed a few seconds.

00:12:42This guy, Fuller, he's got to be over six foot six, 300 some pounds.

00:12:52I'll tell you, for WCW fans, this man has become a leader in many ways.

00:13:01maybe he's the type of guy to rip off a lady for 13 plus million dollars.

00:13:06But he's a fighter and a man who stands for what he believes.

00:13:09Here's a reversal, he erupts, and caught by Fuller, spun him around.

00:13:13He exploded, caught Fuller right underneath the chin.

00:13:20Okay, give yourself ten, but get back to him.

00:13:23That's right, Finney- Finney delayed, and Fuller's a big guy.

00:13:26Scoop slam up, Diamond Dallas got him, and he put the Diamond Cutter on him.

00:13:34Slipped it in nice, in an awkward position too.

00:13:37That's what makes that move so dangerous.

00:13:38Mickey J counts one, two, and three, they don't get up from that.

00:13:42And then he rolled, then he reached for the gold.

00:13:50Diamond Dallas can put on the Diamond Cutter.

00:13:53But Diamond Dallas spends hours a day studying video.

00:13:57Every day, he's working out inside that ring.

00:14:00This man has perfected a unique hold, but also, like you said, Tony,

00:14:04a thousand different ways to put it on.

00:14:07Of course, we know how he feels about Macho Man.

00:14:10Right here, he's got the power to pick up Big Thor.

00:17:30even though Sixx is the cruiserweight champion right now.

00:17:34Well, that's a disgusting thought,

00:17:35but it is a very exciting weight category.

00:17:37These guys find it hard to compete with the super heavyweights,

00:17:41but in their own class, I mean,

00:17:43just talk about high risk maneuvers.

00:17:46I mean, these guys are tremendous athletes

00:17:49with the feats that they can perform.

00:17:51Look at Uberto Guerrera here.

00:21:03but like you said, they hurt themselves.

00:30:35and Enos tried to take advantage of it,

00:30:37but he's not 100% looking right there.
