00:00:52Tony Schiavone, Larry Zabisco for our number one and boy do we have a lot to talk about

00:00:59with Larry Zabisco and we'll be giving the fans some great action as well.

00:01:03We do understand though before we talk about what you've just seen that we are going to

00:01:07be going outside because the limousine is pulling up and we want to get our cameras

00:01:13out there for that.

00:01:15There you see we are in the back of the club La Vila right now and that is a white limousine

00:01:20pulling up, our cameras are out there, fans are standing and cheering and usually the

00:01:25NWO comes in a black limousine.

00:01:27Yeah well I don't know who's in that, we'll find out right now.

00:01:31Alright let's see who that's going to be coming up and arriving.

00:01:34Oh it's Roddy Roddy Piper.

00:01:39John Tenna, there's his team members with him.

00:01:44And Piper has arrived here to Club La Vila with his team members tonight and what a program

00:01:53we anticipate as Piper has arrived.

00:01:56Now you saw at the top of the program as we're going to be going to the ring for action.

00:02:04The talk of the sports world this weekend on all the major programs on CNN, radio talk

00:02:12shows, also in the newspapers has been that Dennis Rodman is joining the NWO.

00:02:18Well you know that was according to all the media Tony but so far it has not been confirmed

00:02:25by the New World Order.

00:02:26Not yet it hasn't.

00:02:27Well not yet, maybe we'll find out later.

00:02:30I think you saw at the top of the program there that we will find out later in this

00:02:34program if in fact the NWO will, hello there young ladies, that the NWO will confirm yes

00:02:41or no that Dennis Rodman will join the New World Order tonight.

00:02:45One of the most colorful figures in all of sports, Dennis Rodman and Hollywood Hulk Hogan

00:02:51together as we open up our program.

00:02:53I hear Rodman's got a new movie coming out.

00:02:55He certainly does.

00:02:56He's got a brand new movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme coming out.

00:02:59We'll be talking about that during the course of this telecast as well.

00:03:21It's kind of like a floating ring, Larry.

00:03:27I mean, when the ring is stable, you got good footing, good balance.

00:03:30But when the ring is not perfectly stationary, balance can be thrown off and, you know, tides

00:03:36can turn.

00:03:37That's going to be dangerous wrestling on a floating ring.

00:03:41Scott Dickinson, the referee, high voltage against the team of Steve Mongo McMichael

00:03:46and Jeff Jarrett.

00:04:12And let me say this, as we head into Uncensored this coming Sunday, McMichael and Jarrett

00:04:18as a tag team are 0 for 2.

00:04:21Yeah, again, you're talking about fueling the fire.

00:04:24I don't know.

00:04:25This is a good idea.

00:04:26I mean, it backfired twice on him so far.

00:04:28Like you said, 0 for 2.

00:04:29And again, Jeff Jarrett and McMichaels are in the ring together.

00:05:20And his blow two weeks ago, if we'll recall, in Sacramento, California, was on purpose, Larry.

00:05:25Yeah, that was deliberate again.

00:05:26I think it was too much emotion.

00:05:29Nice swing and neck breaker by Jarrett.

00:05:31Of course, we had an accident last week.

00:05:33But I don't know.

00:05:35You keep looking at that gash in McMichael's head.

00:05:37And you wonder, can he maintain his composure?

00:05:42So far, they look pretty darn good as a tag team.

00:08:01for Randy Roddy Piper, who just arrived with his team.

00:08:04If his team wins that three-teamed event,

00:08:07if one man from his team is the last man standing,

00:08:10Piper is going to get a cage match with Hogan down the road.

00:08:13Oh.

00:08:14Oh, that was a nasty neckbreaker by McMichael,

00:08:17this big explosive guy.

00:08:19He's got high voltage in trouble.

00:08:21Don't waste too much time, Mongo.

00:20:01right on the beach in Panama City, Florida.

00:20:03Good to have you with us.

00:20:05There is so much going on.

00:20:07I mean, you can't get a first segment

00:20:10with any bigger story than what we just had.

00:20:13I mean, at the top of the program,

00:20:15we heard Rodman, Dennis Rodman,

00:20:18and Hollywood Hulk Hogan together.

00:20:20We talked about Rodman becoming a part of the NWO,

00:20:24Dennis Rodman, and that still has not been confirmed

00:20:27by the NWO yet.

00:20:28And then we heard Ric Flair offer the services

00:20:31of a horseman to Piper for the main event

00:20:34at this Sunday's Uncensored, and Piper said yes.

00:20:37Well, you know, it seems like we've been waiting

00:20:38for years for a group of men to come together

00:20:41to fight the New World Order, Tony,

00:20:43and I just think we've seen it happen.

00:20:46Piper accepted the offer of Ric Flair,

00:20:49and now we have combined with the icon

00:20:52the services of the horseman.

00:20:55The New World Order has got to be in shock.

00:20:59As Prince Iokia makes his way in,

00:21:01let's take you back now to when Prince Iokia,

00:21:04about three weeks ago,

00:21:05became the world television champion.

00:21:07It happened right here on this program

00:21:09on WCW Monday Nitro against Lord Steven Regal.

00:21:12Regal was looking at Rey Mysterio Jr.,

00:21:15and then all of a sudden, one, two, three,

00:21:17he was rolled up, and it was the biggest shocker

00:21:20in a long, long time,

00:21:21and certainly the biggest shocker of 1997

00:21:25as Prince Iokia became the world television champion.

00:21:29With that in mind, we have prerecorded comments

00:21:32from Regal's close friend, Squire David Taylor.

00:21:37I've got a few words to say to you, Prince Iokia.

00:21:40I saw the way you sneaked that fall

00:21:42on my very good friend, Lord Steven Regal,

00:21:44and tonight, you are going to get a lesson

00:21:47in the finer art of wrestling.

00:25:54is just pure common jealousy.

00:25:59You know, I have to agree with Dean on that.

00:26:03and when you have the talent like Dean does,

00:26:05people are envious.

00:26:25Very, you know, questionable circumstances,

00:26:35there's no question that Eddie was out

00:26:44of why I come up with that conclusion.

00:26:49there's been two gentlemen that have stepped forward

00:26:51in the cruiserweight division,

00:26:52and have rose to the top of this sport.

00:26:55And it seems for the last year and a half

00:26:57since both myself and Mr. Guerrero have entered WCW,

00:27:00one of us has come to the top,

00:27:03and one of us has just stayed afloat.

00:27:06One of us, on three separate occasions,

00:27:08has become the cruiserweight champion.

00:27:10The other has never won it.

00:27:12One of us has been billed as a man of a thousand holds,

00:27:16and probably when a sport is finished with,

00:27:18he'll go down as one of the greatest pure wrestlers

00:27:20the sport has ever seen.

00:27:21And the other one, he does a frog splash.

00:27:25Well, you know, and I agree with you,

00:27:27all that you said, but certainly you can't deny

00:27:29that Eddie is the U.S. champ,

00:27:30and Dean Malenko gets a shot at that U.S. title

00:27:34coming up at Uncensored this Sunday,

00:27:36where this time there will be no rules,

00:27:39no disqualification.

00:27:40When we talk about the U.S. title,

00:27:42if you look back in time,

00:27:43Elodie Guerrero won that.

00:27:46With this back turn against his opponent,

00:27:49two gentlemen from the NWO come in,

00:52:33would join wrestling's most controversial group,

00:52:41Now, one thing we do know about Uncensored,

00:52:43that the next four men will be there,

00:52:46and they will represent Team WCW.

00:52:48We talked about the rules extensively this weekend

00:52:52on WCW Saturday night, WCW Pro on Sundays on TBS,

00:52:56and of course, the main event on Saturday mornings.

00:52:59But basically, it's gonna start out

00:53:01with a man from each team in the ring, three men.

00:53:05Then at different intervals,

00:53:07three more men will enter until all 12 men are in the ring.

00:53:10The last man standing gets the win for his team.

00:53:17If a member of the WCW team is the last man standing,

00:53:20then the NWO must give up all their belts

00:53:24to the WCW Executive Committee that night

00:53:27and cannot wrestle in a WCW sanctioned event

00:53:30for the next 36 months.

00:53:32If a member of Piper's team is the last man standing,

00:53:35then Piper gets a cage match down the road

00:53:38with Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

00:53:39Which is now the Horseman, right?

00:53:40Yeah, Piper and the Horseman, that's the new team.
